I recently transferred all of my pets to Twain Harte Veterinary from another local veterinary service. I am SO pleased that I did so! The veterinarians here are wonderful. The techs are wonderful. The incredibly busy front desk staff is wonderful. The atmosphere is clean and welcoming. I have not one negative thing to say about this clinic.

My first experience I had a bit of a problem with one of the receptionists. Didn't think it was going to go well but I've come to learn that these people care more about animals than they do the almighty dollar. I've checked out other places in the area and I can't say the same for them. Thank you from Mars and Saturn!

I cannot express the sense of relief I had taking my giant breed guardian dog there. Our previous vet had expressed fear towards him and I thought we had a real problem dog. Twain Harte Vet was kind and professional and patient with Dozer. My dog was never the problem, and now he is working with a vet that understands guardians. So grateful.

Dr. Jackson performed a procedure on my 7 year old cat, Bo, who has been in my life since he was 4 weeks old. He had a very large fecal build up in his colon. She did an incredible job. She prescribed medications and special food to keep his stool nice and soft, and to stimulate his colon so it will contract on its own. Leading up to the surgery, Bo had to stay in the hospital for a week. She took extra time out of her busy schedule to keep me updated the entire time. She has since followed up with me several times, and gave him an X-ray today, a week post surgery, and his colon is empty and continues to contract on its own!!!I am FOREVER grateful to Dr. Jackson and her staff. She is a beautiful person who deserves the absolute world! If you EVER have a problem with your pet, go to her. She actually cares about animals. A lot of vets just want your money. She wants to see your fur baby happy and thriving.Dr. Jackson,I cannot thank you enough. You are a healer and a hero. You saved my cat’s life, and mine.

My elderly cat was having a medical emergency (breathing distress) and I was told by the receptionist and veterinarian on duty to pay double for a “work in” visit when there were no other pets waiting to be seen and turned away. This vets office seems to be more interested in financially capitalizing on the pain and suffering of pets and their owners than actually providing prompt, affordable, and decent care. I guess I'm just wondering why hospitals cannot turn away a person in a medical emergency who can’t pay but as a society we accept that our pets can be turned away because their owners cannot pay double. I was not even offered an alternate way to pay-just told to pay double. Something to think about. I definitely would not recommend this clinic as my experience was a very indecent and negative one. In my opinion this clinic is only interested in getting the most money-not in the best interest of needs of the pet. Super super sad and disappointed.

WILL NEVER GO HERE AGAIN!Brought my dog in on Dec 20th of 2023 because I noticed blood in her urine, and when she would squat to go pee no urine was coming out. Dr. Stand told me that it was because she was marking her territory and not to worry. I then asked for my dog’s anal glands to be done and they took her to the back for not even 2 minutes. She came back not rinsed off(weird). The technician told me that her anal glands were empty(weird). My dog gets her anal glands done once a month and they are NEVER empty, so that lead me to believe that they didn’t even do them. I still had to pay $116.68 for that visit… for them to do nothing. Two days later I had to take my dog down to the ER in Modesto at 1 AM because she wasn’t going to the bathroom, she was throwing up, and not eating or taking any fluids. They ended up needing to do surgery which was $4,000 because she had 15-16 bladder stones! AGAIN Dr.Strand told me that she was just marking her territory. I will never go back here and I will never recommend someone here! Waste of my time, money and my dog was SUFFERING!

They are always super friendly and helpful. Dr Strand has seen my guinea pigs and Siberian husky and has been absolutely great. Dr Temple is currently treating my American Bully and is an awesome doctor who returns calls promptly and truly cares about her patients. I don't believe I have met Dr Jackson but I am sure she is also great. Thank you to all the Twain Harte Veterinary team.

My poor little Boston terrier puppy “Bean Beans” is sick and I called the emergency number and Dr. Jackson got back to me quickly and met me after hours to help my puppy. She is not only an incredible vet, but she’s just an incredible person all around. She genuinely cares for your pet as if the animal was her own. I am praying for little Bean. Thank you so much Dr. Jackson for all of your hard work and empathy you are so helpful and wonderful. Thank you for giving me peace of mind tonight.

I bring my dog Babygirl here whenever she needs a check up, shots, nail trimming, and medications if need. We love Twain Harte Veterinarian. Our pets are well taken care of here. The staff are smart, nice, well mannered an treat the animals like their own. I Have two special needs dogs and all of the staff at Twain Harte Vet have always been amazing and treated them as if they were their own. We've spent a lot of time there and seen all of the doctors and they have all been wonderful and extremely helpful and caring. We highly recommend them. They're worth every penny.

They were so nice and thorough there. Made me feel very comfortable and treated my dog Shadow who has bad anxiety from another vet so freaks out when he goes like family. A wonderful and practical veterinary practice. You may have to wait a bit for a non-urgent appointment, but they run on time and have very reasonable pricing. No hard upselling.

Dr. Jackson and staff were amazing! We found out our dog has diabetes and she did a great job teaching me how to give insulin injections. (I don’t do well with needles!) I can’t recommend them enough!!!

Was quoted 400$ to remove a foxtail. As soon as I got to the office all the employees were on their phones. Not a single person working seemed like a dog/animal person. My gut feeling told me to leave so I did. I Went and found a quote at a nicer more family oriented vet that was 73% cheaper than their quote. A place where I got to stay with my dog during the procedure. A place where the employees were dog people and came up to give him love the second we walked in! Not just sitting on their phones upset to be at work waiting for their day to be over.

I took our 8 month old boxer here after our previous vet office closed. The vet was professional and front staff were friendly. Very reasonably priced. My dog didn't even flinch when he got a vaccine. I will definetly bring our other pets here.
