I would rather shop for groceries at Twain Harte Market than to battle the madhouse craziness down the mountain in Sonora. They have a wide variety of everything you need. Also, all of the employees always are kind and helpful and always have a smile on their faces. All are personable as well! Also, Susan makes the best sandwiches at the Deli counter 😊 There is also a sushi bar, a meat and seafood counter, they have a great selection of wine and beer, and everything else that you may need. They also carry firewood bundles, boxes right outside their doors! Twain Harte Market is a one stop shop!

Good store for its location. Friendly employees. Clean store. Amazing butcher counter. Reviewers keep mentioning higher prices. Well, mountain town stores need to survive the boom and bust of tourist seasons. Its just how it is all over. Sometimes you can find a bargain. I appreciate this market. They had all the things that we forgot to bring and all the things we ran out of. Way closer that Sonora or Jamestown. Take it or leave it. If youre headed to town, coming down the mountain from your grand adventure and you need butter, flour, sugar, eggs, yeast, beef, pork, grains, veggies, booze.... they got it. If you need monogrammed silk napkins or gluten free tooth picks for your martini then you might want to head further down the hill.

Very nice, clean market. More selection than most markets. Meat is excellent but a bit pricey. Everyone seems to be very nice.

Was staying at a cabin near by and needed some last minute groceries and other supplies. Very affordable, clean, and organized store. Kinda wish I had a place like this back in my hometown lol.

I don’t know why this market doesn’t have heat. They might get people to spend more time and money if they have heat. This is not fair to the employees that work there. What the heck!!

Really great selection! I needed some healthy options and was happy to find a wide variety of dinner options and a good produce section. There's a sushi chef in there making fresh sushi! I wasn't expecting that! Staff was all very friendly and helpful.

Best Meat counter in the county. Last visit went for a couple Rib Eyes and a couple filets, they had no filets out so the young man cut me a couple nice thick ones fresh. Definately a little pricey but worth every penny!

Great selection. They have many hard-to-find and unusual grocery items. Awesome staff. Butcher department carries the best meats in the area. Prices are a little higher than other grocery stores in Sonora, but worth it to me for the selection and convenience.

Love this little place. They have everything you’re looking for from sugar packs to can openers. People are great and service is a plus. The deli is the best!!!! If you love a good turkey club to a smoked oyster, they got you covered. 5 stars all day!!!!

I've shopped here for many years now. They are expensive and the out of town customers can be a bit snobby but this market is worth shopping at. The employees of every department are wonderful and there's a good selection of items. I lived in Confidence for over 12 years and now recently just below Twain Harte so the market is convenient. Our county is blessed to have it and its employees.

Greedy, overpriced, self-serving, tourist trap. Store itself is a dump. They brought in a half dozen expensive items which they promptly tripled the price of so they think they’re some type of high end specialty grocery store. Really they’re just screwing all the locals so they can grab tourist money anyway they can. This business does not support local interests or the community!

Best deli and meat shop in Northern California.Little more pricey but fresh local meats that are red and taste great. Friendly staff and very helpful folks. Tuesdays and Thursdays is senior discount days of 5%. Good selection of veggies, fruits and frozen foods. Best ice cream I've ever tasted !

Twain Hart Market has some pretty good staff employed there. The store is very neat, very clean. The Produce is excellent, with lots of choices. Not a bad place, just kind of pricey

Not your average market. More of a wholefoods feel in a much smaller scale, you can find items here that are not in safeway or lucky. Friendly staff. Fresh Sushi every time I have been there. They have a real good deli with a butcher.

Very well staffed and has many specialty foods. Organic vegetables are excellent. Meat market only the finest meats very good quality! I highly recommend shopping here.
