I personally love this old market, but it's starting to show its age. Prices can be higher than average, but they're a one spot stop that's served tuolumne city for longer than most other businesses around. Staff is friendly, and the deli always has something good to offer if you're hungry.

I usually and probably should leave a good review since I support my local businesses but today I can't. I'll keep it short and as sweet as I can but I walked in and was asked by the clerk to remove my back pack and leave it at the front door. I declined and was given attitude from the clerk and treated like a child. I asked for the manager and to no avail anything changed. I kindly asked if they would tell a woman to remove and leave her purse at the front door as my backpack contains things State and Federals laws protect me under governs. If my backpack was stolen during this period I would be liable. I have a good job and have lived in this county for almost 40 years and was treated like trash because the clerk believes I was just a guy on foot. I will be contacting management and will be calling corporate and following up so others like me won't be profiled and discriminated. Like I told the clerk..be careful who you mess with you may never know what people do for a living!

Great little store when in need of something without driving far. Does cost a little more for things but can get great deals on sale items. Very family friendly store .

John's Tuolumne Market has friendly staff and nice butcher/deli & bakery areas. However, the cost of everything including everyday living essentials are at least twice that of larger town's grocery mega-stores. And, it now closes daily at 6pm. This is most inconvenient. But, any grocery store is better than none, when you need it.

Great hometown grocery store. Excellent meat counter with knowledgeable butcher staff. Great sandwiches & salad choices, I love the family atmosphere. Produce is top shelf quality, but you'll pay for it as well, prices could be a little better, but sale items keep me coming back. Very thankful to have a great grocer so close to home. I love this little market.

It's a good quick place to grab extras but, watch the expiration dates. We've had 1 year old cereal, old bread, and old veggies. If you check dates then you'll like the market. The bakery however is excellent. Always fresh!!! Oh and the deli and meat department are excellent!

Friendly local store where all the employees know your name.However, there are too many times when things are sold after expiration date has passed. Also, as with many ma and pa stores... It is over priced on most items.The deli is nice. Good sandwiches.

LOVE the Friday BBQ! Tri tip and ribs are amazing! Plus, Fridays are senior discount days on shopping (not alcohol or ciggies ) The staff is friendly. I can always special order from John's (a case of this or that, bakery, cooked food, etc) . John's has an amazing meat selection and great prices. I like to stock up when I can.

Tuolumne Market is a great place to shop, they have a wide variety in their small store. Including a butcher shop, deli and nice fresh produce. I really appreciate that they carry a lot of organic produce. The people who work there are so nice and helpful, always a friendly smile and greeting. Definitely recommend, if you're on your way to Cherry Lake or Basin Creek stop by and stock up.

Its a little expensive 50 cents a piece for jalapeño poppers .but fresh meat always good prices. If you want cheaper meat prices go shoplift walmart .Shoplifters not welcome ive always loved this store over big supermarkets. The Dark Lord High Priest Of The Luciferian Church Of The AntiChrist gives it 5 stars .you should do the same

Tuolumne Market is your typical small hometown grocery store. that means slightly higher than chain store prices, but the potential for a higher quality of product and service.Every employee here takes pride in their work and is generally very personable and friendly, recognizing the regulars an memorizing their likes and dislikes.The real gem of this grocery store is the stuff you don’t get off the shelf; i.e. the bakery, meat dept, and deli. The bakery had a good election of home-cooked goods, and it all tastes like it was made by a human, and not a machine. The bagels are perfection! The deli is likewise awesome, with a wide selection fo daily, and weekly items. A soup ofthe day is usually simmering. There is always a selection of fried, baked, and barbecued foods under the lamps. Their sandwiches are the best around. If you drop in on Tuesday, look into their Chicken Fried Steak Sandwiches. And if you go on a Friday, they will be smoking meats outside; so check out the chicken, ribs, and the tri-tip sandwiches.All-in-all, one of the few gems of an otherwise dying town.P.S. The property itself is owned by the local Indian Tribe, but the business itself is privately owned, which is the reason this business is an actual success.

Harvest stories okay it's doesn't happen very good selection is small the hours are not very good either it closed a lot they're not too expensive but they have pretty low quality stuff what do you get the basics you know they're there this old standard stand by you know so at least there is that and their people are really nice there they have a deli you know they have Bakery alright well they have baked goods I do recommend this place it's just if you're looking for organic, go somewhere else.

This is not just the most convenient place to shop if you live in Tuolumne. They have interesting, unique finds that you won't find other places.I have to drive to get here and it is worth the effort. If you haven't been here for a while, put it on your "to-do" list. You'll thank me for it.
