The overall experience was good, it did seem like quite a long wait for the food. The food seemed really good, my daughter was really upset when she dumped what was left of her plate on the floor by accident because it was good. An unbelievable shop with pastries and jams and sweets galore. We didn’t get a chance to ride the train or go to the petting zoo so we will come back and do this again.

I have always enjoyed my visits here, usually with my 4 kids for the last 22 years but they are grown so I brought my MIL for lunch and the food was fantastic, service was beyond expectations with Adriana and the atmosphere relaxing and tranquil. My mother in law got a Reuben and she said it was the best she ever had. Thank you for giving us a yummy lunch and peaceful afternoon

Cute little spot with a cafe and a great gift and goodie shop! Friendly staff and reasonable prices and a GREAT bakery! Couldn't tell if the train ride is still operational... no kids around when we were there to justify it but if it is, that will make it even more fun for families looking for a treat or two. But kids or no kids, don't miss this place next time your near Tuolumne City!

Kids had a blast, food was fresh and delicious. People are always very nice. Place was clean except the animal pens were quite dirty. Its possible they may not have gotten to it yet for the day at the time we were there however. The lemon cookie from the bakery was amazing 😋 It was such a fun experience taking my grandkids there knowing I used to go there as a kid and I used to take my kids there as well (Sonka's). We will be back.

A great local business to support! Dog friendly patio, wonderful food, great staff and OMG the bakery! The seasonal turnovers are not to be missed. The pot pies are a go to comfort food as well. We also love the regular pies and turnovers. Any time we have family or friends in from out of town this is a go to stop. The train and farm are fun for kids and adults alike. Be sure to watch for the “bats in the tunnel” when you ride the train too. (Dad joke alert!)

This is a great place to bring the kids. Good food and pie's, once you are done eating you take a walk into the small petting zoo. Then take a ride on the little train that takes you out onto the apple orchards.

We have eaten here many times and felt it was good not excellent, but good. Had lunch last week, and it was just bad. Sandwiches were only ok. There was a 1 inch piece of toothpick in the middle of my sandwich but the toothpicks holding my sandwich together were not broken. The cookies were stale. Lunch was $60.00 for two sandwiches, 2 iced teas, and a couple of cookies. Not worth the money

We went there for breakfast. It was amazing. Food was amazing, prices were good, and service was wonderful. Everyone was so nice . We rode the train and the morning was so nice and fun.

We had been visiting the sites in and around Tuolumne City when we decided to have lunch at Covers Apple Ranch. I had the Tuna Melt with Sweet Potato Waffle Fries. It was a very enjoyable and comfortable experience. The food, atmosphere, service people, and bakery were all wonderful. The price was very reasonable too. A return trip is definitely being planned.Vegetarian options: Various options for the total or partial vegetarian diets.Wheelchair accessibility: Very much an open type dining area. Easy to get around and the staff is very helpful.

Members of Oakland Hog motorcycle group Want to thank the staff here at Covers Apple Ranch, for accommodating 21 of us on a 1 1/2 hour notice. Thank you for setting up your outside dining for us. we filled up all 5 tables. Good food, atmosphere. Rode all the way up from Oakland, to have lunch at your place.Will see you again.

This is definitely one of our favorite places to visit here!! if you have the chance to come down and enjoy some breakfast, I highly recommend!! They have some amazing selections, I got to enjoy their cinnamon roll with brown sugar frosting..yeah that was insanely good!! also had the biscuits and gravy, gotta try it everywhere of course and this was definitely one of my favorite biscuits and gravy dishes, so fresh and delicious!! Not to mention their little farm they have going on, can feed some goats, cows, sheep, geese, and even horses!! don't forget about the train ride, ao much fun for the kids!

Best pies EVER. Well worth the price. I love to bake but I couldn't make a better pie than they do. We usually buy the frozen ones early so they don't sell out! Then we bake it a day ahead. We love the Dutch Apple pie and the Boysenberry pie. Unfortunately they don't make the Boysenberry anymore. They make a triple berry. I liked it ok but really miss the Boysenberry. I'm hoping they'll bring it back.

Covers Apple Ranch is not only a free to the public farm amusement park but the Best baked Goods in all of Tuolumne County . We picked up a fresh frozen turkey pot pie to bake and feed the family and topped off with strawberry rubharb pie yum

Always friendly and happy to see you. I picked up 21 pies today in the early morning through the drive thru and everything was ready to go! The transaction was very smooth. The selection of pies is amazing and easy to pre-order. Can't wait to get to work and distribute them. Great way to start off the Thanksgiving Holiday. If you want a delicious FRESH made meal then you're in for a treat here. The food is delicious and as they use the farm for their ingredients, you know that you are getting fresh made food. My dad and I first discovered this place years ago with the help of Yelp. We've been coming here every time we are in Sonora ever since. Whether you come for the meals or deserts, you always know that you are in store for some great food.Personally, I make sure to always get a blueberry scone as they are super delicious 😍😋.

Great apple cider. even better at home as a hot cup with cinnamon.Also grabbed a dutch apple pie. Very good, my only complaint is that the crust is so darn good but not enough. I would recommend adding strips of crust on top because it would reduce the overly sweet topping and provide a good balance.

Not very understanding for my elderly father who had a couple of bathroom issues. So it looks like we won't be returning to there to eat anymoreIts ashame because the food was so good.

Went here on a school field trip and my kids LOVED it! Learned about the whole apple growing process through all the seasons, very informative! Farm animals on site to see. Train ride that goes around the farm. And there's a playground to let the kids burn off some energy lol. There is a bakery that has lots of goodies and fresh made apple cider 😋

THE BEST rhubarb pie I have ever had in my entire life, by far!!! I bought it frozen and then brought it home and baked it, and oh my goodness... it was amazing!!! My whole family enjoyed it. I bought this at the request of my parents for their 36th wedding anniversary and they absolutely LOVED it!!! It was perfect!I also bought a slice of their apple pie and a box of tiny cinnamon rolls while I was there, along with a jar of apple jelly and every single thing I bought was absolutely outstanding. The quality of every single thing I bought was exceptional. I highly recommend this place for take out or for bringing your whole family because of the beautiful family friendly atmosphere and good seating. Everything about this place gives it 5 stars, especially the food, of course.

Great little stop. Everyone is very nice and they have amazing chocolate chip cookies! We stopped to have breakfast here and I loved the French toast plate! It's like a giant Cinnabon!

Had a wonderful time feeding the animals and playing with the kids on the slides and swings and watching the ducks and the train ride . Also the food here is amazing!!! Can't wait to go back and get another lemon cookie they where amazing .

We love bringing the kids here. Either to feed the animals, ride the train or get a treat from the bakery. The meals are also amazing!Kid-friendliness: My children specifically ask to go to Cover's to feed the animals and also love the train ride. We drive past daily since it's on our drive home so they love going to the drive through for cookies too!

It's been a while since I have been here. But still a great little place to go. Great for children, they have a little train ride for 10 bucks for 3 and they go around twice. There is a small little walk through barn area with live stock. You can feed the ducks and there is a little playground for the kids to play on. There pies are to die for and there turnovers are just as good. Everything is hand made. The price are perfect for the amount of work that goes into makeing everything. The staff is equally as friendly.
