This place is busy and seems to be a favorite stop for locals and tourists alike. Now, here is the important part, pay attention when you are there. This place is busy, and the staff moves fast to get the orders out. In our visit, people made orders and either took off or just disappeared. The staff called out multiple times to come claim the drinks and food, and when no one showed it was gone. So if you made an order and don't have a number, pay attention, or your wait will be longer. Now the fun of the atmosphere has been shared the food and coffee were very good. The begal sandwich was simple and good. Though the begal could have used a little butter on it.

Veggie chili w the works was amazing! The carrot cake cookie- delicious! Breakfast sandwich was tasty BUT “avocado” is really guacamole as opposed to unadulterated avocado, just FYI (I do not like guacamole on my breakfast sandwiches and wish they would clarify that when ordering:))Matcha tea latte is legit!!

What a cute cafe! The prices are good and lots of outdoor seating. Really cute branding too. I got a chai tea latte and greatly enjoyed it.Updated review 3 months later. Found out that the beans were from Temple Coffee, which is from Sacramento area. Though the prices at this cafe is amazing and you really can't beat $1 coffee and $1.50 day old pastries, I think the americano was okay and the latte tasted kind of diluted. I think it was the brewing method or something, it tasted a bit underextracted. Also no cute latte art.

Excellent espresso drinks. Home baked goods and delicious morning and lunch sandwiches. This is the coffee shop to go to in Truckee.

It seemed right to get the cherry croissant from Wild Cherries Coffee House and it was delicious, every bite! Everything looked yummy. The gf chocolate walnut cookie was tasty and we enjoyed hot chocolate and a mocha. More than the food, this place has a very sweet ambiance, some lovely cards, swag, and really nice people.

Stopped by heading back toward the Bay Area. Got their cold brew and loved it! It’s pretty strong and has a great flavor. Would absolutely stop by again. A nice outdoor seating area nearby (right on the side) with some grass in case you’re traveling with a pet.

Service was pretty quick considering the length of the line and the outdoor seating was nice. My 10 oz cappuccino with non-dairy milk was a reasonable price ($4.75). Counter staff didn't know which baked goods didn't have dairy except for the vegan muffin that they were out of, so I decided to cheat and eat the freshly baked pretzel which had butter. It was delicious, but yikes! Pretty small for $5, especially considering they sell a whole sandwich for $7. So I recommend asking for prices before you purchase anything unmarked.

Great place. Coffee is really good. Staff is very polite and professional. Got several breakfast sandwiches and bagels. Excellent. Price was quite reasonable. Atmosphere was very comfortable and friendly. A bit of a hipster spot, but most Truckee coffee joints are now.

Worth the small detour off I80 or ducking back under the freeway if headed for North Lake Tahoe on 89...Great coffee, food, service! Locally owned and staffed by a mostly young and very sharp crew. One of the owners was also there, and helpful as can be.Skip the subpar $Bucks and enjoy Wild Cherries!Vegetarian options: LotsDietary restrictions: Gluten free dairy free options... ask about others

We house sat and on our way out she suggested we eat here for a quick breakfast. There are multiple things wrong with this place!1 hair, hair, hair. We had hair in a quiche. Strike number number one.2 another hair in the quiche. Strike two3 there was a small hair in the pumpkin swirl cheesecake. Strike 3.The chorizo burrito, I ordered half and received half but it tasted like regular breakfast sausage with chorizo spices on the eggs. I’m tired of restaurants in the USA adding filler like beans and rice into dishes to cut costs and I feel this place is doing that. The person making the drinks was slow, ordered a mango smoothie, chai latte and a moka. The cheesecake was good and the mango smoothie. The rest needs improvement esp with the hair issue. We won’t be back. The bathroom was gross with flys and weird art on the wall. We should have gone to Safeway for a quick breakfast, it’s across the street.

The food and in-store service are great, as they have been for years.1-star for the online ordering process. Online orders go to the very back of their queue. You have no chance. The whole point of ordering online is so the food can be ready when you come… not so you can tell them that you placed an order 15 min ago :)

This place is LOUD. The music is always cranked up high, the noise from the street (big rigs and the occasional annoying dirt bike), and the crowds of high school kids make this place insufferable. The food is ok. I was definitely served farmed salmon in my breakfast lox bagel despite them checking and telling me it was wild.I’ve had to sit here a couple of times for extended periods of time (waiting on my car in the shop across the street). I’ve come out with insane headaches and with a deep desire to avoid all sounds for at least a month.

Food was good and relatively quick. I had my dog with me so I had to sit outside. On the grass area there is a lot of dog feces so apparently owners are not picking up after their dogs. I don't expect staff to take care of it after all it's the owners responsibility BUT if dog owners are going to continue to be irresponsible maybe the staff can pick up afterward every now and then. The flies were kind of a turnoff especially since there is food being consumed... 🤔

We spent a week in Truckee and came here for coffee most days. They have great coffees and various food options. My favorite is hot latte with oat milk and lemon poppyseed muffin. There are a bunch of tables outside. Can’t wait to come back.
