It was just like every older Savemart I've ever been in. On the small side but I found what I was looking for. The frozen food isles were so packed with pallets of unstocked food that I couldnt open the glass doors even halfway but it was during a storm and in Truckee Ca so I was happy it was even open at 9:45pm on a Thurs night.

The old guy at the register was pretty okay great conversation even though it was quick conversation with the old lady I believe a manager or a cashier that is walking around the store is literally a is a prejudice or racist woman every time I turned around she was down the same alelles when I was at the cashier checking out she opened up her cashier and I believe just to see what I had . So if you are brown skinned or fair skinned all black this lady is definitely going to follow you around the store

"Save Mart?"Horribly high prices and highest ever for anything healthy, when/if they have them. I have never paid more than 5.00 for an item that costs $7.50 here. The layout of the store is confusing and the front entrance to each aisle is blocked off as they do construction, so you should plan for high prices and extra time to shop. *Please bring back discounts **without apps**-our phone and brain memory are exhausted.*

Great store, beats fighting through safeway with angry soccer moms... And way better prices. Also, please take a look at all the people who leave one star reviews. Most of them only leave one star reviews for any place they review. some people.....

I bought chains for wheels in this store. the manufacturer is unknown. the chains broke after 10 miles. The store does not want to return the money. strange situation. $67 is not cheap. and I want the thing to serve, well, definitely not one day

Had a door dash pick up from the deli, when I arrived and asked for it they had no idea what I was talking about, claimed it wasn't in their system then checked again and found it. Then they took a good 20 minutes preparing 2 sandwiches, some potato salad and a couple sodas, absolutely absurd.

RUDE employees that I believe is prejudice. I only have 1 scratcher ticket that I need to cash in and she simply did not want to help me. She had no one waiting in her line and the process to cash the ticket takes less then 1 min. Garbage employees.

Great location to get some groceries when visiting Truckee. Good selection and not near as crazy as Safeway on the other side of the freeway. We make sure that we get our groceries here to avoid the crowds and feel more like a local as opposed to a tourist.

I think the prices of Save Mart are generally lower than Safeway. Save Mart also tends to be less busy. It's nice that whenever the lines start getting long (3 to 4 customers) they do their best to open another check stand. The store is clean and the employees are helpful.

OMG they have an juice presser in store. The juice was amazing. Would be worth going back to Truckee just for that. Otherwise the place was always busy. A line every time I was there and employees just mulling about. I felt like there was no sense of urgency for the customer.

Great store and very helpful employee's with experience and knowledge about products. Although the store is not newer its kept very clean and theres urgency in the personal to help. Awesome customer service. The management staff will do what it takes to find the items you need if its not something they carry. If you eat healthy they have a new expanded natural foods isle and gluten free section and a great organic produce selection. One of the freshest produce and meat shops.

This is one of the best savemarts I have been to. They have good produce, and a nice size gluten free section... But the prices are too high. $6 for an Amy's frozen meal ... Whole paycheck has them for $5... Other stores $4. Hmmm

The store is completely updated with new owner and offers many more options than in past years. We come to the valley yearly and will now be able ti shop closer to the Olympic Village where we stay. Lots of fresh produce, wines, good meats and deli choices!

This place has the best rotisserie chicken ever. A great selection of everything you need. Also it stocks what you may have forgotten, like boots, gloves, sleds, sunscreen. Our go-to in Tahoe.

Pretty well stocked and easy to get around and find what you are looking for. The staff at the register seemed almost like i was burdening him for being in his line. He also moved the grocery divider so i was rung up for some of the customer in front of me's groceries. Was pretty confusing in the end

No matter where I go if there is a save mart there I only shop there. Their customer service is always amazing. Easy to find everything in the store. I never have a need to go to any other store. As long as there's a save mart around.#Shoplocal

My wife had left her wallet in a shopping cart in the car park of Save Mart Supermarkets. After calling them, the staff were extremely helpful and went out to look for my wallet, finding it, they then put it aside for me to pick up. Forever grateful for the helpful and friendly staff, thank you!

I shop here a lot. We have two grocery choices in Truckee (new moon doesn't count). Save Mart is easier to access than Safeway and you can always find a parkimg spot. However, the produce is SO BAD I can't buy what is on my list, I simply choose from what is not already rotting. Also, what is with the Tetris-style bagging? I bring 15 bags, and they stack $250 worth of groceries into 3 bags: avocados under 5 lbs of oranges, bread loaves under half gallon cartons of milk. If a bag has handles, I want to use them without having them break before I get them in the car! Losing my patience with this place.

No filtered water machine for RVers or anyone who prefers not to drink city water or those who don't like the environmental impacts of buying individual water bottles. I didn't shop here because of that.

they seem to have so many j1 who dont know how to pack a grocery bag putting canned goods on top of lettuce.truckee store sucks since phil went to tahoe city.this is the third time for this problem.
