We took short break here for gas on our way back from Death Valley and visited the store for some quick bites. This is the best, cleanest store I ever visited during a trip in US. The fried chicken is a must try. The staffs are very friendly.

Pretty much the only shop still open in Searles Valley. They have a lot of groceries, and a Chester's Fried Chicken. The store is recently built, and in good condition. As the only game in town, everyone shops here.
