Pretty much the best place for food and supplies in Trinidad. The selection is enough to keep you going and healthy from carnivorous to vegan the selection is very good. I wound up at Murphy's daily or twice daily once I got into vacation mode.

Clean and well-stocked with fresh foods and our favorite clean-eating brands, like Siete and Applegate. A great little staple grocery store in a small town. However, it was PRICEY and the cashier was standoffish. Glad we bought most of our groceries for our cabin while passing through Eureka and just a few odds and ends here.

Very clean with a beautiful layout, quite a pleasant experience. They have a well stocked meat and fish and liquor/wine selection too, but considerably more expensive than a regular grocery store. Considerably moreso. Three staff is very friendly and customer oriented, and you'll get that personal touch from them.Due to the high prices, tallship only awards this establishment ⭐⭐⭐'s.

HOLY MOLY!!! This place is spectacular! For such a small town store I would have never expected such great options and quality products from produce to health & beauty aids to prepared foods & deli. Made a daily visit during a vaca to the area. The staff work hard to stock shelves, prepare foods, and get ya through the line quickly all the while smiling and dealing with so many visitors to the area. Coffee here is GREAT. Skip the Peet’s get the Muddy Waters so so good!! Our electricity went out for a bit on our trip along with the whole town and even north of town about 20 min away, but this place was up and running supporting and supplying everyone! Extra bonus was the great variety of Cutwater products which I am a huge fan of.

We went here several times last week during our stay. Produce is top notch! Found just about anything we were looking for, including liquor! Got some stuffed salmon for dinner one night and it turned out so delicious! Employees were friendly and gave us some suggestions on things to experience in the area. Really enjoyed going to this little market.

I went to the Trinidad store regularly for quite a while until I had an encounter with a very rude cashier. I've just been shopping in McKinleyville since then.Edit: Went in personally to talk to the manager per the company's request; unsurprisingly, the rude person in question won't own up to her behavior and the manager stands with her. Now I won't go to any Murphy's anywhere.

What a cool store! We stopped here when camping at Patrick's Point several times. You can get local tuna here too. Incense, candles and all sorts of cool stuff besides groceries. Be cool to the workers, it goes a long way.

Why can't every market be like this?. Best Artisan bread cheese wine deli vegetables coffee doughnuts. Unfortunately they didn’t have the wild smoke salmon that I could count on for the last 30 years and seafood department was not what it use to be

I always stop here to pick up food before heading to the beach, state park or when staying at the nearby cabins. Great place to pick up deli food, produce and locally baked goods.

On one of the busiest days of the year “FATHERS DAY” I saw the entire Murphys team come together from the outside grill to the indoor deli and tackle each customer with grace and kindness. Tiffany multitasking while taking phone orders and handling guests asking constant questions was entertaining and also just showcased her amazing Tenacity. Know. As (M & MD) we ALWAYS come to the Trinidad Murphy’s to receive CONSISTENT DELICIOUSNESS FROM JANE THE POWER Train. Creation is her game. Raven, Diane and Brenda make hearts melt as you make your way back to real life :) thank you everyone!

Murphy’s is part grocery store, part general store, part community center. They have almost everything you could possibly need from lettuce to fishing tackle. And no matter what, they’re always there for the community . Great management and staff!

Murphy's Market is a great store with a large variety of quality items. It's not just the best store in the small town of Trinidad, it's one of the better markets on the north coast of California. They even have basic camping and fishing necessities.

Murphy's has just about anything you might expect at a small-town grocery store, plus a few things you may not! We ship here every time we are visiting the coast and fine the stock, brands and employees to be all that we need. We have even begun planning to do it shopping here instead of buying a bunch of stuff at home and hauling it over. Makes for fresh food and a chance to run into town to sample the ice cream across the parking lot or pick up something freshly made from their deli. Lots of options to make yourself or pick up prepared food.

Needed food for day trip to Redwoods. Fresh hearty roast beef sandwich priced very reasonably as well as a Caesar salad So good that day of departure from Trinidad ordered another one for the road. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Highly recommend!

This might just be the best Murphys in the county. This store is clean and has a lot of variety.The best part is the excellent deli that has self serve hot foods as well as sandwiches, bagels, and burgers made to order. I am a huge fan of the deli here.

This place is awesome. The prices are fair and the selection is great for being such a little convenient store. Staff is super friendly. Coffee is self serve Peets. They have a wide selection of protein (especially steak 👌🏽), and all very orderly. Chevron across the street if you’re not satisfied with selection, prices, or quality 🤷🏽‍♂️. No problem giving 5 stars from a non local perspective.

We love their deli! Isis was very nice, she made me a gyro using meatloaf instead of lamb. It was delicious! I also tried "Southwestern" quinoa and it was good too! They have yummy fish and chips and for dessert, I recommend the fresh baked chocolate chip cookies! Great store and nice people. Great selection of wine too.😁

This is a small, non-corporate local grocery market and deli. Everything they've got at the deli is excellent and reasonably priced. The best sandwich around! Great coffee too. Somehow they seem to have anything you could possibly need. Lots of healthier choices, not too many heavily processed foods available here.

Super small grocery store, but it had everything we needed. We came to Trinidad from out of state and were in need of a grocery store stop. Murphy's was a great little place to stop at. They also had fantastic staff that were very friendly and helpful and they let us take some boxes to use in place of bags, which was great for us. Overall, very pleased.

The credit card mechanic on the center cash register is not working. But instead of them open another cash register that WORKS, they stand there and just stared at me like I'm suppose to pay another way. NO.FIX YOUR MECHANICS OR WRITE ON YOUR ENTRANCE DOORS - WE ONLY EXCEPT CASH!!!..
