The place was oddly deserted on Labor Day. But some interesting historic buildings and farm equipment. There was a decent amount of shade and ample room for picnicking. Much of the historic farm equipment is not described and seems neglected and rusting. Seems past time to rationalize the collection and perhaps a dump run.

Pretty cool park for such a small community. There are ample picnic tables and barbecue areas available by reservation. A small playground has toddler swings and big kids swings, and a playground structure for small kids with slides, climbing steps and other structures. There is a payment slot for self-pay day use fees of the playground. Along the back of the park are many old, antique, and ancient farm equipment with a few informative displays. There are bathrooms and porta-potties. Overall, it’s a nice, relaxing place to have a quiet lunch or a family party. If you choose to give a thumbs-up 👍🏽 or not, I hope you found my review helpful!

One of the best kept secrets of San Benito. Huge park with playground, picnic tables, BBQ, tractors, farming equipment, train museum, hiking trail, and historical buildings. We reserved an area for a party and it was clean, close to bathrooms, and everyone had a good time. Explore the area - you will be surprised at what you find.

A fun and interesting place to spend some time. Lots of cool old farm equipment all over the place. You can reserve a spot for large gatherings/parties, etc. They also have a few real nice Santa Maria style grills you can use as well.

I love this place ever since I was a little girl living in Tres Pinos... I love to take the kids to get out and get some fresh air and take the nature trails and play on the playground and take in some history of our dear county at the same time. I always leave a small donation cause I appreciate what the historical Park members have done to preserve some of our historical buildings.

What is great about this park is it is somewhat unknown and not used heavily and therefore a quiet park with interesting heritage buildings on site. The facilities are average to below average as to cleanliness and appearance. Pluses are lots of open area with shade for picnics. Drinking water is not provided only water for non drinking. I was told that the water system is not to code and the water is actually usable for cooking but signs all over warn against this.Restrooms: Water toilets of a passed time.Picnic area: Shade and grassy areas

I like to check this place out when I head out for a ride in the country side of San Benito County. When there's no one there, it's really peaceful and quiet, could almost hear the stream near by. The only drawback for me is that they have chained off access to the stream, but I still went near the water. Cool place to get away from town, picnic tables, playgrounds, and the historical buildings with tractors etc.

Stopped to take a break from sitting in a car too long. Nice park with what looked to be several hiking trails. My kids loved the playground & I enjoyed the peaceful beauty of the gentle hills & breeze. Paid parking is required.

Quiet, peaceful, and spacious. Has a playground for kids with a swing set. Several spaces that include large BBQ pits. Picnic tables and trash cans are provided. Plenty of shade provided by the countless trees. Has bathrooms with running water. Great historical village trail with historical buildings and farm equipment. We always come here to celebrate my daughter's birthday as it is never crowded. Costs $3 per car. To rent spaces contact the San Benito County Public works. Last time we reserved a space it cost $50 for the day. Highly recommend 👍

Lots of history behind this place. Lots of hystoric displays, too. Tons of space for barbecuing and doing whatever activities. There is a small playground and lots of tables and barbecue pits. Lots of open space, too. Though, the restrooms were really not clean and provided with supplies.

Lots of space to explore, many signs and postings to give background to the equipment and buildings.Rather primitive, but still a nice place to visit.

Interesting little side trip worth taking. I was surprised to see the stark difference between a 1950s garden tractor and today's version. The one from the 50s looks just like a cute little scaled down Caterpillar D2. Are they serious? Tracks and everything! Must have been a little tough on the lawn, I can't even guess the weight of this thing. That is just one example of the interesting and well labeled implements sprinkled around. There's also a historical village that unfortunately we did not see. It's worth going back soon to finish checking this place out.

Cool park just outside of "downtown" Tres Pinos. Village of authentic historic buildings with a nice parade grounds adjacent. Worth a check if you're on the way to Pinnacles.

Very cool heritage buildings walk around. Some good walking. Tree work being done right now, so winter is taking a toll. It changes year around, so you have to go more than once, take a picnic and just chill.

So much fun! Today was the Historical Society Barn Sale and Antique Fair with hand crafted items in the Dance Hall. Man Smith serving up food. Crafts inside the Dance Hall. A beautiful day to stroll the park and pick up those gifts.

Great place to walk dogs. Portable restrooms are clean, however dog waste bag dispenser is not always full, so don't forget plastic bags to clean up after your pet!

Cool little park, I loved it and the buildings and model trains display was still locked up due to COVID-19But I give it all the stars for just being a lovely place to stop, let the dogs and kids go potty, learn a little something about the past and have fun!
