A great find for dinner and a beer while we stayed at The Continental. The bartenders are friendly with great service. We ordered fish n chips because you HAVE to do fish when you are so near to the source. It was delicious - maybe a bit too much fries. But you decide how much to eat. Tried the local cider which was great too - just don't recall the name.

Great fries and burgers. Plenty of indoor/outdoor seating available and you are free to get your own water at any point. They have lots of good beers too, but I especially recommend the Gran Cacao chocolate imperial stout from the local Pond Farms Brewing Co. if you're into that sorta thing, because it really goes great with the food! If you're anywhere near Dillon Beach be sure to come here.

Very unique experience with wonderful mix of live music and fun atmosphere.Counter ordering is very convenient and helps maintain a focus on the music and friends without a distraction from wait staff.Dinner was as expected high quality, however the service timing was way off. This can be expected and excused due to the infrequent number of days the kitchen is open. The bar is practically perfect. With the exception of one restaurant in Point Reyes Station. If you are within the area during open hours, you must try dinner here above any other choice.

Chef Dave cooks an amazing brunch!Huge portions! I left stuffed.I had eggs benedetti but the biscuits and gravy looks like it would feed four people, good napkins also!Thank you William Tell House and keep up the good work! Now if I could just get them to serve a steak for dinner this place would be over the top!Tim F

We had the best time! It was totally worth the drive to experience this wonderful Drag show with funny REAL performers who made us feel like family. The venue was perfect for us to be outdoors and still feel cozy. The food was delicious and the staff professional and friendly and efficient. We will go again and make a day of it by heading to Bodega Bay much further. Loved it all!

This hyper coastal bar also features a reliable kitchen turning out tasty burgers to order and a variety of salads and sandos. Staff is relaxed yet attentive. Eclectic music on the heated outdoor patio warms tha ambience in season. Friendly and welcoming to non dweebs. Love this place and want to return despite its being hard to get to.

Fine dining cafeteria style not impressed, portions quite small , mostly catering to outdoor dining. No sense of welcome, paying before your meal. The only person that acknowledged our party was the bartender who also took our order. At least the aroma of food cooking was present. Maybe you should consider building a drive thru so you don't even have to clean up after customers. Mikey Tells . I expected a little more effort spending over 160.00 on 3 per. I guess the majority of your guests would rather have impersonal service and focus on their next text.

This was a really nice place to stop for dinner on the way home. The ambiance was very nice, outdoor seating only, and I liked the picnic tables were a couple different sizes as well as a pair of two could sit to the side. The bartender was very friendly, and ensured we knew how to order and they'd bring it all out. She helped me to determine what to get, and man was I happy with how she described the salmon toast. The chef delivered, as every dish we had was fantastic, including my sons mac and cheese.Prices were reasonable for what was prepared also, it's what I expected for the menu.Cant wait for our next trip here!

My girlfriend and I went to to dinner here. She had the lobster spinach dip. It had very little lobster and she found it very briny. I had the clams with chorizo. The sauce was a salty chorizo mess. Very little bread to mop up a terribly salty sauce. The clams were okay. The atmosphere was strange. Some employees were possibly babysitting sitting their child at one of the tables while we were there. The whole experience did not feel welcoming. Cooking great food with some awesome local ingredients is not that hard. Please fix this I’m a local!

Loved our room. We got the family suite which was very roomy and comfortable. We got to enjoy the music on the patio from the comfort of our room. Food we had was terrible. A hot dog that was completely dried and shriveled for $8 and a bad hamburger for $12. To be fair, it was labor day weekend in they only offered an abbreviated version of the menu...only like six items. Maybe their normal food is better but this was awful. Loved the hotel part though. It's very quirky so probably not for everyone, but we loved it!

Nice seating on the patio, food came out ad-hoc, burger first, then appetizer, then my partners dinner, then the dinner for the little one. Overall it was alright, but expensive. I liked the raw oysters and the polenta fries. Will still eat here again but will be more selective with what we order. We've been here a handful of times over the past few years as they've reopened under new ownership and they are continually improving.Service was good.Rating is a general cost/value/experience/taste.

I've been coming to Dillon Beach for over 10 years and this is our first visit to this place. Great food and service. Oysters William Tell style (butter, garlic and parmesan!) and calamari were outstanding! Fish and chips were tasty and lamb chops were flavorful. Chicken Alfredo was yummy and Greek salad was huge and delicious. Fish tacos were great, too! We will definitely eat here again! I couldn't rate 5 stars because it was only first visit.

Back under new ownership. Revamped and updated but kept the old school charm of the place. We had oysters, Cobb salad and chowder. Food was excellent. Bartenders make good cocktails. Service is friendly. The patio is lovely during the day and lots of space for big families and groups. Want to try the chowder and cioppino.

Great early night spot in Tomales. Fantastic seafood dishes. Outdoor seating with heaters and a small patio dance floor make this a comfy venue for clients and musicians. Dog friendly and good space between tables.

Nice patio and live music on Friday night. The side order of Kennebec fries was huge. More than we could eat. Otherwise, I think we picked the wrong food. The filling for the fish tacos was good, but the tortillas weren't cooked at all. Death & Taxes on tap made up for it. Will go back and try something different.

New ownership! Super excited that this place reopened and the food and cocktails are worlds apart from the old place. Split the chowder, chili, and salad with friends and everything was delicious! Warm and inviting revamped space with a fast casual atmosphere. Looking forward to coming back for lunch on the patio soon!

Absolutely the best seafood chowder in Marin County. Served in a cast-iron crockpot by friendly and attentive staff. Not to be missed during any visit to West Marin and Tomales Bay.

4 stars here because of a weird service issue. The food and beverages were good. Nice cocktails, good seafood. Two knocks. The person taking orders was doing so from the family conversation not listening directly to each order. The server didn't do well when one of our dishes came up undercooked. I prefer places where the customers are the focus and getting their experience right.

Love this place. Any time I go for Oysters I end up at the Tell. Anytime I go for a beach day I end up at the Tell. Haven’t spent the night in one of the rooms upstairs there, but the rooms look comfy. Friendly staff and generous portions. Great value - legit homemade.

The William Tell House is now open after being closed for a year or two and under new ownership. Havn't tried everything but the seafood chowder is amazing. Big shrimp, big pieces of cod, mussels, and clams. Very tasty. The bar is smallish but they have a big dinning room and outdoor seating.

I only went to William Tell House to have dinner with my family and a few close friends. It was lovely, the service was pleasant and reasonably quick; the food arrived together for the most part and was delicious. I am a growing young man so I did eat half a hamburger, which was delicious, moist and creamy; two fish tacos which were fluffy and lightly breaded with an excellent creamy sauce with radish and cabbage as well as the pork tacos which were perhaps my favorite but only because of the delicious salsa that was on top of them. Later I also managed to stuff down two pieces of their pumpkin pie which is baked right down the street and was so tasty. Perhaps my favorite was the friendly atmosphere of the building, high ceilings, well lit and decorated making me feel right at home and no matter where I sat the vibrations of the live music was delightful, I went on a Friday night so I think they hold events weekly...unsure. Anyway, a lovely spot in a peaceful town.

Nice blast into the past. Love this little town. Drinks are hand pouted and very good. The garlic oysters and William Tell oysters are amazing. Its a small town atmosphere, very laid back. When you come here need to leave the busy city behind and chill out and relax.

We went here while checking out a wedding venue in the area. The patio was nice but the food was a bit on the flavorless side. This was during social distancing so maybe there were other issues going on. I did have a Tom Collins that was very good though!

I love this place. Fun. Amazing food. Great atmosphere. Our friend chicken sandwiches were amazing. Crispy and topped with honey and slaw on a perfect roll. All the food is great. Heaters on the patio were warm.

From DIllon Beach, it’s a short drive to WT. We haven’t been since March/start of SIP; with recent change of management, it’s worth a mention that our brunch this past Sunday was absolutely delicious and fresh—Family had breakfast sandwiches (brioche buns/bread, so good!), burrito, bberry waffles, French press coffee, OJ.. Outdoor patio set up has been spruced up, clean and welcoming vibe; tables are spaced out but ample seating from intimate to bigger groups... Service was impeccable; oh, and drinks/bar set up outside too! Madison and staff are friendly and attentive. Support local and go! Highly recommend!

Totally revamped under new ownership. Historic place brought back to life with an updated menu, awesome cocktails, and a fresh vibe. Patio is lovely in the evenings looking over the Marin hills. Playground right next door for the kids to play while adults drink and eat oysters. Super helpful earnest staff who care.

Had the black bean burger. There were 4 other customers during early dinner service but our order (just a burger and roasted veggies) took more than 45 minutes to arrive. The bun was superb. The patty felt a little old and tasteless. The fries were burnt but were replaced as soon as we complained. Service was good the delay and slow service spoilt it for us. Again, the burger bun was fabulous but wish the patty would have been good too.
