This place is a hidden little gem. The food is spectacular. We had a few items starting with the Bacon Foccai bread. It was savory and delicious, it was 7$ and worth every penny me and my wife finished it immediately. Next up, we had the almond croissant. Hands down the best almond croissant I have ever tasted, this is one of my favorite breakfast items, and I have never had one this good. We also ordered a latte and mocha, which were delicious but nothing to out of the ordinary. We also go their browned buttered chocolate chip cookies, and they are just a little piece of heaven. I can't wait to go back and try the pizza and meatball Sub. I'll update once I do. It is located on the corner of beautiful Tomales and is great atop before heading out to the beach.

Awesome stop for food and beer.We enjoyed the pepperoni.pizza. Which was a thick bread with cheese sauce, and pepperoni. One slice is good for two servings. The meatballs were incredibly delicious. Sauce on point. Very cheesy. But not overly so.Fun vibe and ourdoor seating

The pizza was delicious!! We were a little confused about how to order, but figured it out. It's a walk-up counter and you order at the window. We were there on a Thursday, so could only order slices of pizza, but the slices are very generous. We also got a fresh loaf of sour dough bread, meatballs, and pasta salad. The food was all so good! We ordered glasses of wine while we waited the 10-15 minutes for our order. Cute spot in downtown Tomales.

I'm eager to try this place and I still want to but I have repeatedly inquired about a possible private event but management has not been responsive in any way. I've sent 6 emails over the past two months and I've called and spoken with friendly staff three times but haven't gotten a single response back from management. What's the point of having an email or promising a callback if you're not going to follow up on either? I'll happily update my review if I get a response š¤

Was fortunate to get the last GF muffin before they sold out. Popular stop for fresh baked goods and sandwiches, artfully displayed. Some outoor seating and shade.

Stopped by here on the way back from a 10 day road trip along HWY 1. The food was great. That meatball sandwich should have fed 2 people. But, I ate the whole thing. I regret nothing. The pizza was good according to my son. And, my wife is still talking about the pasta (not pictured).

Used to be a walk in bakery, but now only outside seating with a walk up window.Very limited offerings of "pizza," salads, meatballs, and their breakfast pastries. Along with espresso drinks and hot chocolate. All very tasty and enjoyable. A pleasant surprise if you stop there. The pizza is a type of foccacia bread, with tasty toppings. Very different, but good.

I dont want to overstate this, but this might just be the best pizza I have ever had in my 34 years of existence! So much care given in selecting each individual ingredient, the sourdough crust is phenomenal. Y'all just gotta try it. It's insane. Also- cool vibes and friendly staff.

Try their Queen Bar. It is absolute goodness. Great fuel for cycling.I was disappointed they no longer will fill water bottles for cyclists. Seems like an easy thing to do. So much of their business pedals in on two wheels.Note: the public restrooms at the park across the street have flush ceramic utilities and fresh water.

Iām 75 years young, have lived and eaten pizza all over the country including Chicago, New York City, San Francisco and Seattle. I have never tasted a more delicious pizza crust than they make at Route 1.

We stop in every time we go by or stay nearby. From the delicious breads to the morning treats, we have yet to find something we don't like. Highly recommend the cheddar jalapeƱo sourdough round.

The pastries here are ever changing and delicious. They have savory goodies, they have sweet goodies. I'm always happy when they make frittatas or quiche. I've tried the pizza as well and it's an excellent value. One slice is a meal.I'm a fan of their drip coffee, which is from the Thanksgiving coffee company. (Fair trade goodness.)One of the biggest reasons I come, though, is for the pretty woman in her late 50s with slightly curly hair. She worked here under the previous ownership and there's something about her that makes me smile. She's always been a sweetheart. Silly but true.

Ordered a squash sandwich, a side of meatballs, and an Americano. Portions were huge, in a good way. The sandwich bread was amazing. Everything tasted fantastic, and itās obvious they use high quality ingredients. The staff was also extremely friendly. Highly recommend this place.

We love stopping by when we are camping at Lawsons landing. The pizza on focaccia is so good! We buy a whole pepperoni and then a slice of margerita. Fills up the 4 of us plus we have leftovers. Cute place too!

This bakery is awesome. Really cool UI with the whole place basically being outdoors (but protected from the rain and sun) which makes ordering and eating in the era of COVID completely easy and stress free. Employees are always really nice and its overall a very chill place to stop, get a bite, get some coffee, and continue on for your Point Reyes/Tomales day trip. I'd stop here every time if my path took me through the town.

A gem tucked away in this tiny town. Get one of everything... no, two. We're bread bakers and still could not resist buying a loaf. Cute use of the space. Great service from the awesome staff. Sit out on the stools to experience a great slice of life.
