Excellent burgers and fries served here! Well worth a side trip if you're passing through the area. (My wife says the Ortega burger is the "best she's ever tasted".) Lovely mountain scenery to gaze at while you eat, too.

Went for a company meeting but I guess I picked the best seat. Waitress was awesome unfortunately they were out of steak salmon and potatoes. Restaurant sucked at night but wait staff was very accommodating our waitress was a goddess thank god for that. 🌹

Perhaps the best burger in the area between Fresno and Vegas. Really, really delicious. Drive out of the way to find this place.And the fries are amazing! Crunchy and delicious.

This place is such a hidden gem! East coast style Italian in the Sierra Nevada foothills is. such a treasure. I have ordered several items off the menu so far and never had any I did not like. Make the detour on the way to Shaver or on the way back home from the mountain or fishing.

The food is outstanding, and staff is super friendly. Came here with 4 other people. Plates were clean at the end of the meal. Sign of good food to me. It is a bit off the beaten path, but well worth it.

I have eaten here many times. We drive up from Fresno and the drive is scenic. The hamburgers are AMAZING!!! I have tried many of the burgers all are good.

OMG! I had the tollhouse burger and decided to put Pastrami on it with grilled onions. You can’t find a better burger around. Fries were crispy. My wife had a cold deli meat sandwich and was very good. Nice people too. Cmon up and taste homemade goodness.

Enjoyed a delicious veggie burger.... Unexpected.... And delicious! The ladies helping us were courteous, kind.... Were respectful of helping us maintain social distancing while feeding us great food!!! Thank you for the outdoor seating and clean rest rooms!

The pizza is fantastic! We had a Make it Your Way and added mushrooms and pepperoni to the hawaiian pizza. It was bomb! The crust was so good! Really really delicious!! It could be dangerous living right down the road. Try it!!!

Great food and super nice employees in a great atmosphere .Don't come here in a hurry though, they run on a slightly different time schedule.This is being added to one of my must do stops anytime I'm in this area.I had the ground sirloin and eggs with grilled onions, wow!

So many times I've been told to go up there and get the burger. Yep, it's awesome!!! Well worth reward for a pleasant drive. Get up there before the grill shuts down at 4. Great people. Oh REAL SHAKES!!! Really good too.

Went in with my son to get a burger at 5:15pm.... Was told that they don't cook past 4pm. When I told them "okay, but online it says you are open till 7pm every day" the owners rudely and matter of factly told me I was wrong. Not a great way to treat your local families 😣

This is a small market and restaurant. They've got their little quirks but the food is good and portions are generous. Service can be a little slow as they can't justify a big staff because of the demographics...depending primarily on local and drive by customers.
