Stopped in at this local market on the way back from Sequoia National Park. The cashier was very friendly, greeting visitors and answering their questions. It seems most are foreigners and tourists passing through town to visit or leave the nearby National Parks (there are three in the area). The aisles were clean and bright, and I was able to find the items on my list quickly. While I might have saved a little money at the chain stores in the nearest major town (Visalia), it would have been a 30+ minute drive each way. This local market is a great little gem in one of the most scenic towns in the Southern Sierras. They had a good selection of fresh produce, which was a welcome sight after a few days of park food. I even found some locally-made souvenirs that were much more unique than the usual park trinkets. This market is a perfect example of why supporting local businesses is so important, especially in gateway communities to national parks.

The daily smoked bbq meat at the back of the store was honestly pretty great. I didn’t expect that at all. Strongly recommend if you’re in the area and a little hungry - get their sausage, ribs, and a potato salad! The gentleman working by the meat corner was also very nice and insightful.

Located I'm Three Rivers city, I didn't expect much from this market when I arrived. Surprisingly though, it's a good market. They have a good variety of beers, craft and the standard beers. There was good selection of fresh produce; looked like there was a deli in the back, and a variety of ice creams and pastries. Also very important for the Outdoors people here, they carry wood bundles @$9.99.  These are good-sized bundles in my opinion. The Village Market is basically a convenient store grocery store all rolled into one with reasonable prices.Come check it out when you're in the area.

Nice people that work hard. Shelves can be picked over at the end of the day. Deli chicken, sausage ground, bacon were all very good. Nice selection of beer. Prices are crazy high but Im from Michigan so it may be normal for CA.

Great selection of foods here whether you’re looking for a picnic, to stock up on staples, or grab some ribs, smoked pork loin, or tri-tip barbecued on site. Also some very interesting liquors like high end bourbons and tequilas.

I love this store and make it a point to stop here every time I'm in town. Even if I don't need anything I'll still pull in, walk around and find something to buy.

If you need beer, wine or alcohol this is your stop, if you need actual food not sure you will be able to carry it or walk out with it after paying an arm and a leg. And then you better check expiration and packaging. We looked at a few items and they had expired so only bought beer to go with the pizza up the street.Really wish this was a better place as well hoped we could get some extra food at the cabin.

We were staying at Horse Creek campground and needed firewood. This little store has got everything you would need for a comfortable camping trip. They’ve got a decent selection in the freezer section, ready to cook meals and a nice drink selection as well. Great place to stop by if you are short on supplies or forgot to bring something.

they had what i needed. prices are high -that is my only reason to 4 star it, but Im not from California so cant say if they are high for California. If normal for California please consider that in my review - yet I figure they are likely tourist prices. (high compared to basics at Lodgepole visitor center / market.) But a nice one-stop shop: salad, plastic fork, baby carrots, bbq chicken, raw meat for grilling, yogurt, butter, liquor. polite and helpful staff. plus, i ran back the next day to retrieve my lost sunglasses and they had them at the checkout. Thanks!

I wouldn’t buy any “fresh” meat from here. Chicken stunk and was yellow, didn’t buy it. Prices are sky high. I’d rather take the scenic route to the nearby town and get it from the Mexican place.

Usually busy. Tourists stop here often, so it is usually crowded during travel season. Produce is not very fresh, meat never looks very fresh either. BBQ is always great. Bakery items are usually pretty good. The store does carry a lot of items considering its location, so that's a plus! Always new staff here, not sure why.

Great little market that has more than you expect to find. Especially in the produce section. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Very clean and tidy with product faced on the shelves quite well.Side note: I was surprised to even find certain bourbons on the shelf that are rare to find even in Kentucky, miles away from where they're made.

Great lil market!Had their apple cake and it was so good! You can tell it was homemade. I found myself pleasantly surprised by the quality of their prepared foods. Their peaches were juicy, their pasta salad was tasty (and I could taste the high quality olive oil in it!), Even their brewed coffee was really good! I'd def recommend!

First Time Visitor. While it is a small market it does have all the basics you need. They stock some brands I'm not familiar with, but that might be a California location thing. Pricing is actually in line with normal grocery stores. Yes they do charge you $0.15 per plastic bag if you don't bring your own. They also have a meat market and small fruit and vegetable section. Attached to the store is a very large selection of beer, wine and hard alcohol. They are open till 10pm.

I read the negative reviews of this hotel and was scared off at first but I really wanted to be close to the park so I decided to make a reservation. To my surprise and delight the hotel was great. Front desk staff were friendly and helpful. The price was great. The room was clean and comfortable. Flowers along the walkway made the place feel friendly and the pool was refreshing. My family and I had a great stay before heading up the road to Sequoia.

This in a nice little store. I think they probably got tired of my son and I visiting, but they had everything we needed to cover the things we forgot for our camping trip. The Saturday we were there (I am not sure if this was available other days or not) they had BBQ'd Tri Tip and it was wonderful. They have a pretty well stocked produce and meat counter and a nice selection of drinks for the adults as well as the kiddos.

What a quaint little place! Our family arrived into town later then we anticipated and what few dinner options they have there were all closed or closing and we were left scrambling. Found this store, thankfully they were still open and we were able to get some food to take back to the hotel. They had some premade fresh burritos and such in there refrigerator section that we were able to heat up and they turned out to be really good! Grabbed a slice of their mango cake from the bakery section and oh my it was delicious!!
