Great place great staff but we were warned not to go in the summer because of how loud and crowded it gets ....we decided to roll the dice because of how cheap the prices are but we had to check out early because our neighbors were too loud and rude ....again though great staff great location and very affordable but i recommended going in the spring.

The place is beautiful, there is a river with crystal clear water and lots of trees and shade, but the restrooms are disgusting. They only seem to clean them once a day, which is unacceptable. They receive hundreds of dollars from each client, how can they justify not to hire a person whose only job would be staying in the restrooms making sure everything is clean and working.

UPDATE: 11/19/23 I obtained some pictures and videos of the progress made at the new camp site. I was told they will have many Airstreams hard piped, which makes them all stationary. They will also have a higher-end section with top views of the site. A 5000 sq ft club house is being built as you first drive in. I believe cabins will be built as well. You will not be able to bring your own rig. I was told the recent flooding made its way up to the old club house. The beach has a somewhat new formation. The locals are very giving with the info they received. Reservations can be made around August 2024.UPDATE: This campground was sold 3 years ago. The new owners are converting it to an RV park with 85 Airstreams to rent for $400 bucks a night. Our Campground is now gone. Decades of memories, all gone. Posted on 5/16/22I've been coming to this resort for over 40 years. Such great memories. Now I'm bringing my grandchildren. Tile showers, pool, Wi-Fi, clubhouse, air compressor for inflatables, general store across the street, Walmart 20 minutes away, 5 minutes from town. Volleyball, horseshoes, teatherball, large areas of fescue grass, RV area, riverside camping.

Stayed here on a camping and it was one of the best place I have stayed with my family. Being next to the creak or river was so relaxing, peaceful and so wonderful and watching the family enjoy the water was so epic memories... 👍🏻🤙 🇺🇲

We stayed here for 3 nights last week and it was awful. The entire campground was crowded and our neighbors were competing with who could play the loudest music all night long. I even left a message for the office one night because it was well past their quiet time (which they do not keep tabs on at all). I understand we were there during peak season but if you have written rules then you should uphold them. The bathrooms weren't the cleanest and the men's room had issues with the sink not working and one toilet overflowed, which the maintenance crew did fix right away.On the plus side, the creek was a big hit for my boys. They even found a bunch of tadpoles. The pool was also a nice relief from the heat.Unless you stay here on off seasons, I would not recommend it. It's located down in the valley so peak summer temps are well over 100 with no breeze.

We stayed here earlier this week while we hiked Sequoia. My partner and I absolutely loved everything about this campground!!!It was super clean, the staff was incredibly friendly, and it was in a perfect location (near the park, quiet, but close to the town for access or groceries and such). We had a river tent site and we were SO happy with our view and everything about it. From our check-in at the office (super easy and fast), to the time we drove away (sadly!), we just truly loved our experience. It’s truly beautiful, and totally the best place to stay in the Sequoia area! We will be back as soon as we can.

The campground is in a beautiful location and employees are very very nice. The women’s bathroom/showers were disgusting, had to complain to the office to have them cleaned. They were still disgusting all 4 nights of our stay, not sure if it was due to short staffing. The river was absolutely beautiful, but other campers left trash everywhere, not the campgrounds fault. Sad that others could not clean up after themselves.

There was a fire in the Sequoia National Park, it was a little smoky but really not that bad. The RV side wasn't crowded at all more people in the tent side. The Park is really nice, plenty of trees, clean, definitely check the site map, some RV sites are in full sun. We were lucky to have a mostly shaded spot. The river was low but still plenty of water for enjoyment. We will DEFINITELY be staying here again. Absolutely loved it. Thank you Sequoia Campground & Lodge!!!

Most sites had shade with trees, but our site even though I paid to warranty a site with shade, we had sun (104) most of day. Didn't give money back. Bathrooms, showers very small. River was great, pool was great. A lady (worker)name Jaime was awesome, she always made sure we were informed of what we can have to be comfortable. She was a great help.

The location of this campground was just 6 miles to the entrance of Sequoia National Park which was great! There is a nice river that runs through the camping area which a lot of people enjoyed. Bring your own floating devices. The tent area was super crowded and no social distancing was being practiced. The pool was closed and we did not use the laundry area or public bathrooms. The front desk person wanted to charge us $25 for arriving one hour early. We did observe guests in the morning standing in line waiting to use the bathrooms (while brushing their teeth which was gross). Our RV (spot 24) had no shade tree at all and our camper had trouble keeping cool in the high heat. We were so close to the camper next to use that we could not bring out our awning. Their sewer hose was nearly touching our outdoor carpet. The people on the other side had a campfire each night that was super close to our slide out. There are many burrs in the dead grass area around the campsites. We brought them inside on our shoes and clothes. I pulled burrs off of our 4 lb Yorkie each time she was out. There are not many campgrounds close to Sequoia NP so only stay here if your trip involves going to the park for 3 days or less. We were there 5 and couldn’t wait to leave. It was hard getting out of our spot when we left as cars are parked all around the tight campsites.

The campground is as you might expect from a private owned. It was a great experience for my wife and I. We were already making plans for the next year. If I had to get nitpicky the bathrooms can use an update; but honestly I can't really complain. It is tight in there though, I am a large guy so it made showers and the toilet interesting. All in all, the staff are nice and the night sky there is unforgettable.

Nice and affordable place to stay in a tent for a couple of nights. Views, running river nearby, pool and other facilities as well as proximity to the Sequoia National Park make this place really good to spend some time here. The only problem you can encounter is noisy neighbors, campground declares a quiet time after 11pm but doesn’t enforce it (at least didn’t during our stay in 2019), so loud music or talks and laughing can slightly (or significantly) spoil you sleep.

Overall our 4 day experience was good, the only reason im giving them 4 stars is because our cabin was not ready upon our arrival. We had to wait about an hour for our cabin to be cleaned, however one of the guys in the office was kind enough to accommodate is for the inconvenience which was very kind of him. Over all I do recommend this location beautiful location to go with the family the river is just across the way from the cabins. Lovely.

Such a mature, well maintained park. Staff is super helpful and friendly. Long RV spaces with relocatable fire washer tubs and picnic tables, so parking is made a bit easier to navigate. The proximity to three National Parks, (Sequioa, Kings, & Yosemite) is totally doable. Well, we did it, anyways. Easy drive on 198 to get to the campground. Nice river beach. Pet friendly. Ice and firewood delivery. Etc.! Really nice place. Our favorite.

Very nice place. Beautiful scenery. Very close to entrance of Sequoia's. Staff was extremely nice and helpful. Showed up late almost 8 pm staff was still on duty check in took about 2 mins. RV sites were decently spaced and easy to get in and out even with 39' class a. So don't let that hold you up. Great river access for swimming and fishing. We will definitely be back soon.

My family and I have been coming to this place for YEARS 40 plus years we seen new management come and go. The restrooms used to be cleaned 3xs a day your lucky if they got touched once , the grass use to be green now there is hay I miss Hector. Hector also use to water the campground every morning. if we're paying $1,500 for a cabin for the week upgrade more than the outlets. This place has been more home for many years not just our family but to many. It's time to step it up.

We tent camped 5 nights at this campground in May, 2021. The bathrooms were disgusting. They were not cleaned properly during our 5 days. The ladies bathroom didn't have toilet paper on Saturday morning and Sunday morning. The showers were very tiny. There were no hooks to hang your clothes nor bench to sit to get dressed after showering. The mens and ladies bathrooms in the tent area didn't have latches on the stall doors. The outside sinks for washing dishes were filthy. On Friday and Saturday nights there were more than 50 people tent camping. There were 2 mens toilets and 2 womens in the tent area for more than 50 people. Their bathroom and shower facilities were the worst we have encountered during our almost 30 years of camping. On Friday night on a property adjacent to the campground there was very very loud music playing until 2 AM. I was told a campground employee the police were called about the unbearable loud music coming from the adjacent property.

it was amazing! the staff was really friendly, the camp site was real clean. I was not expecting to have running water, but to my surprise, there were working toilets and showers too! and they were kept very clean! I went with friends, but would def. go back with my child and would recommend to my friends!

First the positive: Nice size rooms, bed was comfy, quiet place, friendly staff, and they let us check in early. However, I wouldn't stay here again. Coffee maker was broken, one of the two burners on the stove doesn't work so cooking breakfast for the family with one burner wasn't ideal, no wifi, old tv tube style, cheap feeling towels, and the pool was green, all for the low low price of $197 a night. /s

We stayed in one of the lodges which had pretty much everything we needed..We did go during off season so there wasn't anyone else other than us at that time, so we had the entire place to ourselves. So it was perfect. I have gone during peak season and seen this place be packed and its popular and a family friendly, the water flows right next to the campsites, the pool is perfect and bathrooms are available, security on site and rules are enforced, but not to the point where it makes your stay impossible, just to make everyone s stay peaceful and safe.. but book your stay with time this place gets packed quick over the summer as it is conveniently located and close to everything.

Amazing camp ground! Beautiful area, very clean, has all necessary amenities. Showers and hot water saved our lives during road trip when all other camp grounds around were closed for a season. The stuff is very friendly and helpfull. Thank you for having us!

The campgrounds are clean enough and the staff are friendly enough, but the lots are extremely close to each other (Quite a lot of my neighbors kept wandering through my campsite to get to the restroom). As my friend put it, it reminded her of a music festival, but only lamer, everyone was packed like sardines (Other than some perfunctory COVID warning signs, the campgrounds didn't really enforce many restrictions..especially maintaining distance from one another). There's not a lot of restroom facilities, so you're sharing the same toilet with about 100-200 other folks. Not to mention the men's toilets do not have urinals, only seats...with no locks. I was fortunate enough to have used it early when it was relatively clean, but you know how one's aim can be off once alcohol is involved. There are several campsites that are right against the Kaweah river as it lazily meanders into Lake Kaweah downstream. The location itself is excellent, being in walking distance of several restaurants and local establishments such as Three Rivers Brewing, Quesadilla Gorilla and the Pizza Factory. In addition, you're only a 15 minute drive from the Ash Mountain Entrance to Sequoia National Park.

Beautiful spot. Complaints are the housekeeping DOES NOT know how to clean, kitchen icky :( Dust EVERYWHERE! And for $200.00 a night....stained carpet, broken curtain rod, dirt & gravel on sidewalk to cabin very slippery AND cob webs everywhere in & out. Either someone is not doing their job or someone is LAZY! The pool was awesome & refreshing & nice staff in the office.

We stayed at this campground with our trailer from Friday-Monday. The staff was so friendly and helpful. I loved that when you buy firewood, they bring it right to your site. We had a great time despite the rain and the location is only 6 miles south of Sequoia Nat'l Park's south entrance. We will definitely be back!

Staff was friendly and helpful, and the location is close to the national park. Bathrooms were unclean. If you come for a group party, you will be at the right place. We felt several groups were competing for how loud they could play their music. Not a place to go for relaxation.

Went here for one night on Labor day weekend, (Sunday). It was a terrible experience. First of all the campsites are way too close together. Our "neighbors" decided that it would be a great idea to watch a horror movie, The Shining, with dj speakers on full blast to the point where we could not hear each other speak. Who goes camping and watches a movie?! There was another group also watching the Joker movie and a third group that was rowdy, with drinking games and laser lights. Yes, I'm all for letting people have their fun while away from home, but it was a little ridiculous. In my opinion, the campground needs to put a rule in place to not allow that much noise, besides the 10pm noise ordinance curfew. Needless to say, we will never be staying here again. I would recommend staying elsewhere unless you're ok with this type of environment for camping.

People working were very nice. However, when I pay as much as I did for a camping site I expect to have my own space. We booked 4 days 3 nights and had 2 seperate campers right behind us. In fact I came back from daily activities (outside campground) and a motorhome was about 2 inches from my tail end so I couldn't walk around my trailer from the back. Luckily they were very nice and backed up so we could get up our stairs and walk around back end. Trailers were so close on both sides that it looked like a family reunion was gathered up. I hope when they remodel next year they get rid of shared sites, especially if they're still charging so much. They have a bunch of tent campers along the waters edge and apparently there's no rules against blasting music so the entire grounds can hear it well not everyone knows Spanish and not everyone likes the same music. No consideration at all. Saw trash and diapers along shore line at end of day. I picked up trash just because it was gross and didn't want it in river. A friend came to visit and they wanted $20 for her to park and visit us for an hour. That's insane. Not only that they charges $3 a night for every extra person over 2 occupancy. When we camp its usually with more than just 2 and for the high price I would be ok with maybe a little extra if more than 6. We weren't very happy with being boxed in all around us and dirty people on the beach area. We luckily spent our time in private land along river and stayed there 2 days and only slept at our trailer. Not happy campers.
