Absolutely loved this place and how they helped me so much when it came to questions about puppies and their habits and they don't even make you feel bad when you have to get a muzzle, as if you fail them but let me say, they also have dog training classes here and it's so convenient because you have your pet supply also here. The important part is, they also don't badmouth other pet supply stores because you feel like there is a community with all of them. They have a shared goal and that is, the love of animals with the employees

Spectacular ☆☆☆☆☆ their experience & knowledge of animals was incredible. Shown picture of a dog I just adopted & new everything by picture alone size weight & best food for elderly dog w/barely any teeth the last ones loose. The food has actually hardened the loose ones WHAT? INDEED highly suggested for any animals concerns. They actually know their products & Buisness ☆☆☆☆☆

This particular PetSmart always has what I go there for, cats and dogs, they're never out of anything they keep it well stocked and the staff are very polite and knowledgeable I recommend this petsmart

I bought two male pet mice, Salt and Pepper, there ~ 9 months ago so I'm a little late, but thought I should contribute.+ 5 stars: The employees that I have spoken with here are super nice, friendly, and really do care about the animals -- they even ask how Salt and Pepper are doing when I shop there :) Also the animal cages are clean, and the mice bedding/toys/food is well stocked, and I really like how they have adoption days. Great place.-1 star: The employee that was helping me (a young guy, 18-20 years old, very kind and eager to please) swore up and down that the two males I were buying would get along and wouldn't fight. Well, on the drive home they tried to kill each other ... bought a second cage ASAP and it all worked out in the end, but the entire situation sure did stress me out.-1 star: I have dropped ~$300 in vet bills because both mice have had health issues; Salt scratches his ear to the point of bleeding (antibiotics + anti-inflammatory medicine is clearing that up), and Pepper has a chronic URI (antibiotics + steam therapy seem to help). Heard similar stories about PetSmart mice, and found out that PetSmart's supplier is Sun Pet Ltd., which is known for abuse, horrible conditions for their animals, and basically sickly animals. Very sad and very disappointed that PetSmart is supporting this 'business'. :(

The sales associate was very helpful and kind. My dog had surgery and I showed up within one hour of closing and she didn’t even seem to mind. She helped me get all of the items I needed. She was very pleasant, knowledgeable and awesome! I greatly appreciate her help and also the fact that she didn’t make me feel rushed or annoyed that I came in so late. It was an awesome experience and I highly recommend supporting our local stores.

I am so floored with my experience with Heather in the grooming salon. She is everything you could possibly want out of a customer service experience, and care for your furbaby. She is genuinely kind, professional, accommodating and welcoming. I couldn’t imagine my dog being in better hands.

The employee are always greeting me and are very nice as they ask if I need help. I buy hayy for my two fur baby's and that's about it.I've heard and read many things on how petspart doesn't take care of the animals and how the big companies are making the animal farming worse.. all I can say is I do my best to make the b world a better place for the ones who are in need and I hope these ceos and companies do the same...

I love the fact that I can shop online and then go pick up my items at the store. I can also have my items brought out to me if I don't feel like going inside the store. The prices online are so much cheaper than the prices of items in the store. For example I bought my aquatic turtle filters online for $5 for a box of three and inside the store for the same exact item is $15. I'm not sure why more people don't shop online?

Shardi the pet trainer at the Thousand Oaks location is amazing. She has a great work ethic and is very compassionate to all dogs and their owners. She truly has wonderful patience and works well with both dog and owner. She goes above and beyond to work out training strategies that work best for each individual dog. She has exceeded my expectations for PetSmarts training and is the reason we keep coming back. So much so that I look forward to class each week. So far my dog and I has taken the beginning and intermediate class and will be signing up for the advanced class next!

Staff was great. At check out, it was gently pointed out that the two items i was ready to purchase didn't really go together (so my fault). I want to go grab a replacement, to which i came upon only half my item!! A staff member went back with me, found what i needed, we had a good laugh regarding my previous poor choices, and removed the half item so future shoppers didn't suffer the same fate as mine. Over all, left with a smile on my face due to sheer friendliness of the staff and ended up getting exactly what i needed.

I am rating with three stars based the inability for this place to plan and schedule their grooming appointments effectively. I should not have to arrive at the store, wait 15 minutes to get into the salon (because someone was late getting back from their lunch break) only to be told that the groomer I am booked with (I did not specifically request someone) was on leave. why wouldn’t I get a phone call before my appointment time? While I understand the employee resource situation is a major challenge for all businesses, where is the manager? Who handles the daily schedule? There is a problem in this store and I would stay they need to start at the top!

Do not ever shop here. The store lead, Frank, is an absolutely horrible person and how he is the lead of the store is beyond me. I used to work at this location for almost 2 years, but had to leave because of family problems. I recently reapplied as I wanted to come back. I got interviewed in September and told I'd hear back the next week. After getting the run around for TWO MONTHS I finally go into the store asking to see the manager so I could ask if they just don't want to rehire me and if so, why didn't I at least get a cursory phone call to tell me so.The store lead Frank comes out and I ask as much. He tells me in the most 'I'm already annoyed with you voice' that they have quit looking for pet care (what I applied for) and I was like ok, well, why didn't I at least get a phone call?Then he says, "Associates have been telling me you come in here all rude and cuss out the store."I was appalled.That is SO not true and I said as much only to be shrugged at like I'm lying and told thats what he has been hearing about me. I kept insisting its not true and he just did not believe me whatsoever, was extremely rude to me, and kept saying associates have been telling him that. I again asked why I didn't get a phone call and he says, "Because I heard you're rude, thats why I didn't call."Are you serious? A store lead believing lies and gossip instead of speaking to the person directly, AND accusing me of such in the rudest way possible and treating me like absolute garbage. No matter how much I said its not true he shrugged at me like I was lying. Childish, rude and flat out mean. Talk about defamation of character and slander.I reported them to corporate and I hope something is done about it. I will never shop at this lousy run place again and I suggest you don't either.

I'm a first time dog owner, and I LOVE this store so much! Everyone is so nice and patient with me and my dog. I especially love Heather, who is one of the groomers in the salon. She treated my dog so well. Will be coming in often!

Local favorite. Has everything we need. Some different products than their main competitor. So we go to one or the other depending what we need. Overall this is our main place tho. Worth stopping in. They also have dog grooming and a vet clinic in house.

Pet Smart is a very clean store. The staff is very friendly ,helpful and knowledgeable. I purchased some Kong toys for my Great Dane. I don't know if the prices are reasonable as I did not shop around. Overall, it was a good experience.

The employees are kind and helpful. They offer many items, even Chi for dogs! Go in if you recently adopted any animal and they will give a booklet of coupons for your new animal. The prices are excellent on some things and high on others. They have a selection of outfits for dogs too.

On a good day they have one cashier and a long line. If you have the dignity to go trying to run down another cashier nobody's in sight. Experiencing this store is either humiliating or just downright a waste of time. It's probably not the best for single women shopping alone. I was once verbally accosted by one male customer which was creepy in itself and nobody did anything about it. PetSmart used to be a lot better and not such a let down. This storm particular is a ghost town.

We adopted two (more) cats today!! (That now makes six! 😽) Kelsey was super-helpful and so friendly! She was so patient and explained the adoption process, handled all of the paperwork, and assisted us with supplies for our new fur babies. Got several things on sale too!

It was our first time grooming at Petsmart and we are so happy! From the moment we walked in we were greeted and taken care of. Maddie did an EXCELLENT job with Spanky. She took the time to assess our needs and answer questions we had. He walked out the door happy and wagging his tail.

Made an appointment for nail cutting. Just nail cutting. Arrived ON TIME and was told there were 2 dogs in front of us. My dog hates the car, this was no easy thing to take her there. Left and did a walk-in at a vet. Will NEVER go back.
