Got help in the Hardware Department by a wonderful young lady Kelley! The department was very busy, and the poor young lady was by herself (Shame on Management), but I watched her calmly handle 2 customers prior to me very thoroughly, and when it was my turn she gave me the same professional courtesy cutting rope and chain. She is the kind of person you found everywhere 20 years ago plus, but not much anywhere these days. She is a great asset to ACE HARDWARE and would be a sought after person in todays job market! If you are in Hardware, look for Kelley!! Thanks Kelley!!

See Mike in the paint department, or Courtney or Kaitlyn or Charlotte up at the front registers! I tried to do my survey, but it expired. I absolutely will not walk into a Home Depot or Lowe’s after finding this Ace Hardware.I’m doing a large home project and they recognize me and call me by name when I come in! Luuv this place & EXCELLENT customer service.Many years ago we used to have one in Newbury Park.This is your great good old-fashioned hardware store that’s not completely overwhelming like the big box. I love the customer service in here. Each of the employees do the jobs of three people.It’s light and bright and joyful to shop in the store. Not allowed, echoing dark place like Lowe’s or Home Depot. I wish those big box never came here. I like the good intimate Ace

So I got back home from work and my kitchen sink was clogged my brother helped me unclogged it but I needed to buy a hose that connects the pvc pipes to the metal pipe that goes to the wall I barely got into the store 1 minute before they close and I rushed to the plumbing section a gentleman showed up and asked me if I needed help, he was very nice and between him and another of his coworkers helped me get the right hose at first I thought he was gonna tell me I had to go because it was closing time but he didn’t these guys are awesome very friendly and they took the time to help me even when it was time to go home, I’m definitely recommending ACE to all of my friends and family for all their home needs and hardware supplies.Thank you guys I really appreciate your help.

1st time coming to this Ace Hardware. Its nothing like the one in Oxnard or Ventura. This store was cleaner, brighter, and more organized, and employees were all so rriendly and helpful. I am not saying I dislike the Ventura and oxnard 6 they are just different. The best way i can put it is the one in Thousand Oaks feels like it's run more professiinally. Not only was it bigger with kore variety, it also seemed to have better prices

I recently ordered umbrellas online for delivery on Sunday to my home. I stopped by store to pick up one item and was greeted by a young man named Paul Varblow, who went out of his way above and beyond to make sure that my order was going to go out or be delayed on deliveries. He got my order from the back made sure it was in good condition and managed to put them in my car, which I could’ve never done as I am handicapped, he could not have been nicer more professional, and made me feel important. He’s going to go along way with your company. He will be the reason I will continue to buy at Ace first!

Wow. I go into my local garden store often but have recently been doing more shopping off of arboles. The Ace hardware is the nicest staffed place ever. Everyone is so helpful and a special shout out to Erin, who fixed a problem I had with a smile and pure kindness!

Skip this place. I ordered four of the same items online for pickup. I used two coupons in my account, totaling $12 off my purchase. First, they double-charged my credit card, then they canceled one of the four items not in stock and emailed me they were going to refund me “less” than what I paid for the 4th item. I called and was told, “No, there would not really be a refund, they just made a brand new order, for three items instead of four, and-since I used already my “Ace Rewards” & the other coupon, I can’t use them again. I said it wasn’t fair, since Ace canceled the first order, not me. They said to email the manager “Craig” (they gave me the email address) and told me to explain everything to him, which I did, and he never bothered to reply. Ended up canceling the new order. I recommend going to the Ventura Ace Hardware instead, the service there is excellent and worth the 18-mile drive.

Very attentive and helpful staff. Great attitude. I'll ding Ace for only one thing, we ordered on-line and inorder to PU, the cashier had to enter a 16 digit number we received manually. Scanning a code sent to us would have been far more efficient. In all, the experience was great. The Ace Hardware stores I've been to lately, this and West LA are not the ones I remember 20 years ago. Much better service, services and stock.

Can't say enough good things about this store. Friendly, welcoming, customer service oriented team members that are educated in the products, know where they are located and are happy to help. A well stocked store with everything you need from gardening, random houseware supplies and the newest best beach day goodies. A gem of a store in the day and age of disappointing Home Depot and Lowes big box stores.

It’s a nice location where OSH used to be. The staff is friendly and helpful, and they have everything you need. Their prices come at a premium though, if you compare item to item, Lowe’s and Home Depot are cheaper. If you need the convenience, then this place will work for you.

Local hardware stores are indispensable for the DIYers. What used to be our nearest OSH is now Ace Hardware. With fresh coats of paint, updated store layout, it continues to provide what the big block stores can't, a quick in and out for that one tiny part you need without getting sucked into hours of traversing and getting distracted by giant warehouse full of everything you might need/want for your Nth projects (unless of course you enjoy that sort of things, but what about the project you need to finish now? Hey, I just get distracted!). Anyway, friendly staff, well organized and and stocked, save yourself some time and get back on your project! Oh, and the occasional $5 off coupons are nice, too!

I never remember walking in an ace hardware and seeing a whole dedicated section to pets! Outside of groceries you can get anything and everything you need here!

Went shopping there for the first time today. Workers where friendly helpful and store had a nice set up. But here where it gets interesting. My friend checked out before me and waited outside the door with her items in cart paid for.A note the store had no bags for merchandise as we where told. No big deal, ok. As my friend waited outside she was approached by a employee asking if she had paid for her items. My friend replied yes I did and would like to see her receipt, the employee replied, no that’s ok. After I checked out and walked out with my items with no bag the same employee kept hovering over my friend as if she stolen her items in her basket. The employee even made a second attempt to ask if she had paid by asking her , so you got that purse and my friend just simply replied yes I paid for it you can check with lady who rang me up. Then the employee saw me approaching and dropped her curiosity and took of shopping cart and we left. This employee made my friend feel singled out. We observed several customers leaving the store with items in shopping carts with no bags but the same employee did not approach them with the same question. I feel this could of been handled differently by that employee and you know who you are, without making my friend feeling uncomfortable and singled out. Weather it was by the way we dressed or the color of our skin or she just had it in for us the moment we walked into the store I don’t know. The fact that she let her judgement get the best of her, because after all it was not our fault the store didn’t have shopping bags upon check out. I will visit this store again and see if they have improved their customer service and employee training. This is why I gave it only three stars. Good luck on your visit. I will pray for that employee and hope she does not judge people by their cover.

If you got the $$$ these people got your hardware needs covered.Extremely well stocked with just about anything you could wish for but it comes at a price. I'm going to say a single sheet of 3/4" ACX plywood would run you near $75! HELL, HOME DEPOT GETS $11 for a stick if #2 or better 2 x 4 x 8foot. The entire country is being squeezed like a Florida Naval orange.
