It’s not a dog spa, not a super fancy place. However it is a safe and clean environment for your pets to stay while you’re away. Their prices are very reasonable and that’s important to us because we have 3 dogs.

Very accommodating staff high level quality service . I left my dog for a month and my 3 dogs really like it there . They are happy and likes the staff. Wonderful and safe place to trust with the care of your pets. All animals have ample space to stretch out. The staff is friendly and responsive. The boarding for cats is separate from the dog boarding to reduce stress for all animals. Would trust them with my cat any time.

I’ve used Heavenly Pet Resort for several years. My dog seems to like it. He doesn’t seem stressed when I pick him up and upon arrival runs right in. Both really good signs that he didn’t display at other facilities. The place is very clean and everyone I’ve met there is accommodating and pleasant. He loves the “ice cream” treats”!

Heavenly Pet Resort is great. We always leave our pup in their caring hands when we go out of town for an extend time. We usually opt for a bath before picking him up. He smells great and is super happy.

I LOVE THIS PLACE. Take excellent care of our pet, very clean, friendly, you can call and see how your pet is doing. Been a customer for almost 20 years. And Jessica at temple city location is THE BEST!!!! My pet knows her and runs to her. Thank you Jessica for all you do. YOU ARE THE BEST!! I dropped off my dog over Memorial Day weekend and picked him up on May 30, 2023. Upon seeing him, I noticed a large wet spot on his hind leg so I asked them if it was pee. The woman at the counter reassured me that it was just water because he was "sitting in the yard" when she went to get him. On the drive home, my entire car reeked of pee and it broke my heart. I wiped him down when we got home and confirmed that it was pee. All four paws and hind leg was covered in crystallized piss. He never cries after coming home from boarding (he's been boarding here and there since he was a puppy) but he cried this time when he got home. I'm extremely heartbroken and disappointed. I can't believe they allowed him to sit in his own pee for so long and didn't bother to clean him or care for him. I can't imagine the state of things when I'm not there because there are no photo or video updates.This isn't the first time I had problems with this pet resort. The last time I dropped him off here, everything looked okay until a few days after we brought him home. I noticed large cracks under his fur all along his spine. He was bleeding and scabbing all along his spine. I brought him to the vet that week and they said that it's a scraping wound. We chalked it up to him scraping his back by going under our bed, but those wounds NEVER appeared again despite him continuing to go under our bed. In retrospect, I believe it was a scraping wound from trying to escape a much narrower space. It must have happened at the pet resort. This place needs to be investigated for animal neglect, and I'm not saying that lightly.During his first night back on May 30th, I noticed he was licking his legs constantly. Upon further inspection, I saw that he had developed hygromas on both legs due to the repetitive trauma of sleeping on hard surfaces (perhaps pavement or a crate) at the pet "resort." Another vet bill coming. This is the kind of place that would be getting lawsuits in the future (considering how another reviewer already lost her pet to them and then got berated by the owner's boyfriend. Glad we found this place!This will now be our go to place if we ever need to leave our pup in good care. Prices are very reasonable, and love that they wave the late pick up/day fee if you want your dog bathed! Our pup came out smelling clean and fluffy as though he just left the groomers! It was so refreshing to finally find a place that didn’t expect gratuity for their services. Only thing I wish they did was send pic or video of added extras we paid for like private play & ice cream. Otherwise how do we know for sure that it was done? Other then that I would definitely be referring friends and family!

First time boarding our 3yr old pup. I was very reluctant and guilty when dropping her off but the young lady that was working the office was very sweet and efficient. The drop off process was quick and my Alpine (50 lbs Ridgeback mix) happily walked back with her to the kennel.I think I expected her to be anxious like she is at the vet, but she wasn't. All good smells, apparently. She was more curious than anything.I was so happy to see photos of Alpine on the Heavenly Pet Resort IG page. That was the highlight of our trip away, I think. I even called to check on her and the staff was happy to take my call and knew exactly who she was. That totally put my mind at ease and allowed me to enjoy my time away even more. I'll definitely be using Heavenly Pet Resort again.

Very happy with the service! Thomas and JJ were great and you can tell they really care about your pets. Had my dog there for 10 days and when I picked him I immediately could tell he was well taken care of. He was happy, relaxed and definitely himself. It was very easy to reach the staff while om vacation. They even put some pics and snippet videos on Instagram which was a huge plus! I recommend them and we will certainly use their services on our next trip out of town!

I brought my 1 year-old chihuahua mix, Jenny, for a 9-day stay at Heavenly Pet Resort while I went out of state for vacation.I brought Jenny home when she was 8 weeks old, and this was our first time being apart from one another. We are together every day, pretty much all day, as I have worked from home full time since the onset of the COVID pandemic; needless to say, I was pretty anxious about boarding Jenny, and I didn't want to put her up with just anyone! HPR had great prices, and came recommended to me from some family members, so I decided to give them a try.The staff was excellent! I dropped Jenny off with a bag of her food, some toys, a bed, and a blanket, and they made sure she was well tended in her private room. Every few days I would give them a call to check in. They were patient and understanding, and always honest with me about Jenny's mood/temperament. She was having a lot of anxiety the first few days (i.e. being away from me, period, and being in a room alone, in a new environment), and they decided to pair her with a smaller dog. She perked right up to her usual happy self, and had a great time! While I did worry about Jenny often because it was our first time apart, I knew she was in safe, capable, and loving hands.When I picked her up, I could tell she was happy, comfortable, and well cared for. I will definitely be using HPR again!

This place is amazing. I took my two fur babies here to try out their facility. I have an English Bulldog and a chocolate lab. My English Bulldog is very selective about who are his people. It doesn't help that he is a mama's boy. My lab is a people person so I don't worry so much about her getting along with people. When I dropped them off I was worried about how they were going to like the place. I was so impressed that there were no dogs really barking. The place look really clean and the dogs that I did see were relaxing and did not look stressed. This place has a homie feel. Jessica checked in my two fur babies and made me feel so at ease. And come two my surprise my two babies just walked off with her and didn't even bother to look back. I picked them up the next day and when Jessica came out with them they were like oh hey. My Bulldog looked at me like I cut his vacation short. I was so relieved. It's always been hard to go on vacation without worrying if they are going to be ok. But not no more ... I would recommend this place to everyone. And the customer service was amazing. Thank you Heavenly Pet Resort for taking care of my babies. Thank you Jessica for going above and beyond and making me feel that my fur babies are comfortable and that they would be in good hands.

Had to leave out of town for a few days and was hesitant to leave my dog here but I would call often to check up on him and they reassured me he was doing fine and was getting along with the other dogs. When I came to pick him up he seemed super happy playing around with the other dogs. Staff was really friendly and helpful. Thank you for taking care of Henry!

I have left my dog with Heavenly Pet Resort multiple times and have always been very happy with their service. My dog always leaves with her tail wagging, community boarding prices are very reasonable, pick-up and drop-off are a breeze, and making reservations is simple. Would highly recommend!

Jessica is usually there at check in and she makes an effort to ensure she gets all the instructions for taking care of my dogs. The staff are so friendly and very caring for our little guy when we are gone. I felt so comfortable leaving my dog there, he does not like to be away from my husband and I for a long period of time. We used your Covina facility for about 10 years and were very pleased with the way of caring for our cats. When your Temple City facility opened I went over for a tour as it is closer to home. I was amazed at the "suites'" they have for cats. They are not in cages but rather like large closets with windows all around so kitties can look out and see yards, flowers, birds etc. they also have 2 rooms kitties can go to individually. One is like a living room with stuffed chairs and toys, the other is called the patio where there are cat trees to climb and of course windows for play. My kitty Sammi I think was disappointed she came home. Definitely THE PLACE TO GO!!!
