This is the biggest Asian supermarket ever. The inside is bright and airy with high ceilings. There are lots of products on each aisle. There are several tables with hot food samples such as dumplings, soy sauce, drinks and snacks available on the weekends. Shopping carts are brand spanking new, so it maneuvers very smoothly. There are lots of products from Hong Kong, China, Taiwan, Korea, Japan, Indonesia, Philippine, Thailand and Vietnam. The staff in the meat and fish section are helpful and friendly. There is live seafood available but the tank is located quite far away from where you stand, so it is a bit hard to describe which fish you want as it is quite a distance. It is a little tricky if you wanted to ask the staff to try to fetch a bigger or smaller crab or lobster, as he would need to walk from the tank to you in about 10 steps. Only a couple cashiers are working, but the check out line moves quickly. Parking is plenty even on weekends.

An excellent new Asian market in the old Value mart location. Everything is clean spacious and there's an excellent selection of produce at very good prices. The meat department is still getting fully stocked but the selection and value that I saw were very good. I'll definitely be doing most of my shopping here in the future.

Newly opened in 2023. It is a typical good size Asian supermarket with more seafood, meat and produce than you would find at a typical Ralph's or Vons. Has lower prices than GW Supermarket, and definitely lower than H-Mart, but more common foods here. Able to find Rendang, laksa, and other South East Asian food items. Their frozen blood cockles are from fully cooked from Vietnam and China, while H-Mart has raw frozen ones from South Korea, and fresh ones from Mexico. They have an unimpressive grounded coffee selection.

022724. 4 starsUpdate: The service attitude of the staff in the fish and meat department has improved a lot than before; the supermarket floor is also cleaner and brighter, and the cleaners are very diligent. However, the quality of the food sold still needs to be improved, and we hope to add some daily essential and healthy varieties, such as unsweetened pure orange juice/skimmed unsweetened yogurt/walnuts and cashews/black grapes/authentic Brazilian cod fillet.

The experience in the fish department was extremely bad. The steamed buns I bought were moldy when I got home, and the whole box of fruit I bought was also moldy. I will never go to this supermarket again.

Maintains the layout and approach of the old Value Mart, but with Chinese grocery!* The meat is well-priced, and the produce even more so. The in-season fruits and veg are very cheap - if I don't have any idea what to make, I go here and buy whatever! Savor the season, etc.* I will say though, as someone who grew up going to ValueMart and Hong Kong Supermarket (now Good Fortune), this feels like their child, and it's kind of weird. I still think the people who run this new supermarket used to work for Good Fortune, but thought they could run it better. Well, so far, they're doing a great job!

Came across this new supermarket after work the other day. They have a large array fruits and vegetables and all look very fresh! The prices are more affordable compared to the hmart I usually go to. As a local, they did a really good job cleaning up the place. The old market was dirty. It's definitely more comfortable shopping here now. The service was also very nice especially for a new supermarket. I'll be coming back.

I have came a few times into the store to purchase fruits vegetables and some groceries. Some of the canned goods are close to their expiration date. The store is clean. I like coming here. Staff need some improvement in friendliness.

Came for the supermarket grand opening. While some of the prices were lower than other supermarkets, the quality was also questionable. Bought a whole jackfruit. I left it in my kitchen to ripen. However, after 3 days, instead of ripening, it was fermenting..so disappointed!!

Great new Chinese supermarket. I love the produce section, so much variety. Prices are great, almost like pre inflation! Convenient parking, not crowded at all, many spaces! I feel safe, there is a security guard at all times. Very affordable, a lot of selection, just plain awesome.

Walked in to this Global Fresh Market on Rosemead Blvd/ Longden, formally known as Numero Uno and before that was Value Mart. Today marked their first day open. The manager approached me and mentioned that the prices were not the sale probes yet. They barley opened up.To give them the chance? They have majority Asian or packaged food with asian writing on it. How am I suppose to know what it is. I mean, they do have a few American foods like sugar and beer.

Be sure to check labels. Many of their products have warnings that include exposure to lead, arsenic, and other harmful chemicals that may cause cancer or birth defects!
