We recently had another great experience with Deep Sea Creations. They've been helping us with aquariums for a while now. They set up our very first reef tank two years ago, and almost a year ago, they helped us set up a bigger one. We've also been having them come out to do monthly water changes which are fairly priced.Their team knows a lot about fish tanks and always makes sure everything is done correctly. They also have many different corals for sale at different price points, so there's something for everyone, whether you're new to aquariums or have experience.What we like the most is how they always make sure we're happy with their service. They answer all our questions and help us whenever we need it.I highly recommend Deep Sea Creations if you want a fantastic salt water aquarium and excellent service. They're the best!

This place always has awesome prices! There were times where they were running low on livestock such as saltwater fish but I still ended up buying something else such as a used protein skimmer good for a 100g tank for only $65 cause the price was that good!... a bargain!And I can see why their livestock doesn't stay for long cause their prices are the best I've seen from surrounding saltwater fish stores. For example, I bought a healthy Blue tang (Dory) for only $44! The best price I've seen for this fish at around a 2 inch size was for $60. I also bought a very beautiful healthy specimen of a flame angel for only $40 bucks. I've already had them in my tank for a few weeks now and they are eating well and swimming around healthily. I had bought a Blue tang from another fish store in the past and it had died on the second day! And of course the return policy on saltwater fish are almost nonexistent so that was a disappointing experience from the other store.

We got to great freshwater fish here! They have a small selection of freshwater but they're pretty cool fish we purchased two freshwater sharks a couple weeks ago and they've been adapting great. If your serious about fish deffinatly check out this place!

Great tropical fish store. Very supportive and knowledgeable. In fact the owner strives to hire employees that know marine biology. Great business and they are doing it right.

Fish on the sales floor have brooklynella, they sell them anyways and don't quarantine their fish. The tanks are chain hooked up to eachother so even a healthy fish has a risk of bringing it to your home aquarium. Staff is only semi knowledgeable but friendly.

I have been buying from this company for more than 10 years. I have found to always be courteous,friendly and helpful. They do not have the largest selection but their seletion is reasonable and they are willing to go out of their way to try and get what you need and best of all thier prices cannot be beat.

Update to my previous post.Even though I stated I would not be back to the store, I have been back several times. I find the staff to be kind, friendly and out going. There prices are very competitive and in some cases the lowest in the area.Thank you Deep Sea CreationsScottIf it was possible I would have givin this establishment zero stars.I have been using this fish store for about 6 months and every time I leave the store, I say to my wife I'm done!I will no longer give my hard earned dollar to this fish store.Over the past 6 months we have stocked our tank with there expensive marine fish.1) Unfortunately a couple of the fish we purchased just didn't play well with the rest of the community. I have been in the hobby for 20 years and I do understand that there is no guarantee in the behavior of the fish. However, I do expect the retailer to stand behind what he and or his staff recommends. I attempted to return two of the fish that were not getting along within 72 hours of the purchase and I was told "We cannot refund your money, we will not provide store credit of any amount" We just don't know what environment you had the fish in, let alone your water quality, you can donate the fish back to the store"In an effort to provide the fish with the best opportunity for a healthy future, I did donate the fish back to the store, the gentlemen was so concerned about the quality of my water that he dumped the fish right back in there community tank!2) A few months ago, I was reviewing pricing on the Deep Sea Creation website and found that there prices were pretty competitive for the particular items I needed. I drove to the store (30 minute drive) I took the items to counter and gentlemen rang up the purchase and I quickly realized that the prices did not match those as listed on there website. I asked the gentlemen behind the counter about the difference in the prices he stated, "the owner has not had an opportunity to raise the prices on the website, you can call him, but it's really difficult to reach him" To this day the prices have not been updated!3) Today, I went to the store to pick up salt and some live stock, there are flyers throughout the store stating 20% off on all live stock, I picked out the live stock I wanted and I put the salt on the counter. I was charged $2.00 more for the salt then the shelf tag, I asked the gentlemen behind the counter why he was charging me more then the listed price on his shelf he stated "oh all of our prices have gone up, we just did not have a chance to change the shelf tag yet) Once I was in the car I did realize that I did not get the 20% off on the live stock! My wife told me to go back in, but the truth is I'm done with DEEP SEA CREATION!Thank youThank you for responding,My apologies for the comments regarding the lack of integrity and not being good people.I do believe most people try to do there best in being honest and kind.As for the Regal Tang, you are absolutely correct. I current have 2 tanks and the Tang was an impulsive decision without doing research, so yes your staff member advised us well. However she absolutely recommended the purchase of the Coral Beauty to us for our 10 gal. Nano tank. When I arrived home and did the research on the Coral Beauty I immediately realized that the information provided by your staff was incorrect. And that's ok, we all make mistakes. But to tell me my only recourse that same week, was to donate the fish back, was just simply wrong!As for the other comments I posted, I stand by them. I hope you understand, its not about the 2, or 3 bucks!Regardless,I will not be back..Thank you for your response.Scott

For months I dodged having these guys come over to clean my tank. I thought I knew it all and could do it myself. They never pressured me just told me when I’m ready they will see the service difference. I called them up and they took about two hours on my 80 gal tank. 4 days later and it’s still so vibrant, the algae is all but gone the glass is clean residue free and I am enjoying my corals and fish again.

Derek is seriously the best along with the rest of his staff. Our family is new to the tank ownership and fish world, but we love it. They answer our questions fully, every time, with compassion and patience. It goes a long way when someone is trying to learn a new hobby. Not to mention them moving and setting up our new tank. This place is awesome! I went in this morning and they got a big shipment of fish in. They have corals, anemones, saltwater fish, freshwater fish. Their display tanks are amazing. The staff at Deep Sea Creations are very friendly and knowledgeable. I will definitely be coming back to Deep Sea Creations!

This is probably the best location to go to in the area. Not only is the store huge, so you don't have to be bumping into people but the workers used face masks unlike the other stores. Their prices are really low and the owner was very welcoming. This will be my new LFS

Very nice group of people. Very nice looking tanks too unfortunately two weeks back I purchased a set of clown fish and made the mistake of putting them in my tank without quarantine steps. Something I’ve never done before since there tanks looked very clean NOW ICH is attacking all my fish!!! And that’s why I’m giving a one star and will not be back.

Great aquatic store. Will take the time to answer your questions and try to solve your struggles. Awesome options for aquascaping. More tanks than most local aquatic stores. Sells a wide variety of Seachem products and is willing is special order a product if they don't regularly carry it. This store has a great RO/DI water program in which you can buy gallons and get some back free. I have not visited any other store that has a program like this. Will be returning and even though this is the furthest store from me (45 minutes) it seems to be worth the drive.

Kyle was very helpful with me finding a blue ram I wanted for my a gift for my roommate, he took the time on the phone with me to check before I wasted my time heading from Murrieta to the store. I have been to the store prior to this which is beautiful. I breed Chameleons and fresh water fish is not an area I am to familiar with, thanks for the help Kyle.

As soon as I walked in, I was greeted and asked if I needed any thing as usual I said "nah just looking around" so far thats a plus for me. They have a great variety of fish mostly salt water though was hoping there would be a lot more freshwater fish like half salt half fresh but its more like 70% salt and 30% freshwater. But any ways these guys know what there doing because my mom was asking them questions about owning and maintaing a salt water tank and they were really helpful. They also got tons of supplies that won't be found at any local pet shop

Horrible experience with these guys they used to be the best around but unfortunately they have gone down hill fast.. trusted all my lifestock with these guy 16 fish. when i came to pick up only 5 alive all my fish had (died) !! Horrible place but its ok wont give up on the hobby but defenately these guys! Please dont make the mistake i made dont come here!
