My husband and I stopped by here with a day pass to enjoy the hot springs water. It was a wonderful place I will gladly visit again. There are four private very hot water pools with a shower and a door that locks so you can enjoy your complete privacy surrounded by white stucco walls and artistic murals. It has a very cool and old Pompeii meets California desert vibe. There is no ceiling, just a canopy that filters sunlight so it feels outdoorsy. Those are limited to 30 min each but the water is so hot that we didn’t last more than 10 min. Then there is the main pool that is perfect warm temperature and four other round hot tubs around the pool with also very hot water. We went on Monday and there was hardly anybody there so we enjoyed it all. A restaurant is available on the property with 6-7 bbq options from sandwiches to brisket and pulled port entree. It isn’t a big menu but perfect to just get lunch and get back into the pools (it isn’t open Tuesday and Wednesday heads up). This might not be the same on a crowded day but we really lucked out.Loved that we didn’t have any service so we could really disconnect. Day pass price on a week day is totally worth it for all the amazing properties of this water and all pools and clean and very well maintained. It was a desert spa experience!

Great place just outside of Death Valley to stay and relax with your dogs (let them know you are bringing 4 legged friends). Best bbq place (also has great beer for those who enjoy some brew) at the entrance. Nice clean private hot tubs that you can enjoy (30 minutes at time). So nice to wind down after dusty day of exploring 😍Food & drinks: Make sure to try the bbq joint at the entrance!😋

The serene desert setting is lovely & peaceful. Somewhat isolated so that the nearby Barbecue lounge cafe (an experience itself) Is your only choice within half an hr for food. The mineral pools are lovely & there are clean showers adjacent. However the cabins are old & substandard. There was not hot water at our sink. The cabin for two is one large rather rundown room with the toilet & sink separated from the bed by a few feet & a short curtain. The towels supplied in the room were thin with holes in 2 of them. Calling it a “Resort” is a bit of a stretch until some upgrading &modernization of the cabins is done. At that point I would return & could recommend it to friends.-MargaretLos Gatos, CA

You really need to make sure you can make the reservation. There's no extenuating circumstances policies. My boyfriend and I have been going to Delights one - three times a year, for the past few years. Never an issue. Always an enjoyable experience. We were definitely looking forward to going for my birthday next week, but we have both fallen ill, and there is little chance of us recovering in time to make the trip. Called to see if we could move the reservation.No. Nothing. No grace. I've never come across a place that didn't at least have some sort of extenuating circumstances policies. So, if you decide to book here, make damn sure nothing happens to keep you from staying. They do not care.Oh, and they'll tell you it's, "the system". Which is pretty much pure baloney. There's always a way.

This place is super cute I did not stay in the rooms I just used the hot springs. Unfortunately I think they chlorinate the springs and I had a pretty bad reaction to that and the combo of minerals. I am sensitive to many things but I’ve been to the resort across the way and I did not have that kind of response to their water. I enjoyed myself and would maybe spend the night here but utilize the springs in other parts of this small town rather. If you are not sensitive like me I bet you’ll enjoy yourself!

Delight Hot springs is just that, it is delightful. The property is beautifully decorated and the springs are magnificent. There is a large outdoor pool at 92 F and 4 smaller outdoor pools at 103 F. There are also 4 private indoor hot pools that are available which are also lovely. We stayed in cabin #1 and it was perfect. It has heat and air conditioning if needed, a stove and a refrigerator. There are also dishes and pans if available. All the resort water is spring water which is good for washing but you will have to bring your own drinking water. The cabin has a screened back porch works well for watching sunsets. There are rooms, cabins and camper sites. There is no cell or Wi-Fi in most of the area. Delight Hot Springs is the jewel of Tecopa and is an excellent desert escape.

I guess since it's the end of the season who ever is cleaning out there is slacking. Trash was over flowing every can, literal gobs of dried diarrhea hardened all over the toilet and seat. We usually love it here but it was a hot gross mess and not up to the usual standards we find out there. I really hope this is a one off situation and not the new normal.

The first thing I want to say is that the hot springs themselves are delightful and refreshing.Everything else, the staff, the location, and their rates and policies are all atrocious. To call it a resort is such a stretch of the imagination. This has been the fourth time my wife and I and will likely be the last. When we arrived with our group man at the counter was incredulous that we've ever been to the springs or that we brought a large group in the past. Before we were even finished unloading and setting up our chairs and ice chest the same clerk came out to us demanding to see receipts(that he did not give us btw) to prove who had paid the day rates.Again as we were unloading he baggered us where we could and could not park. The issue here is that the parking is generally unmarked and not obvious were day patrons Park, versus RVs, campers and guest staying in the rooms. This was the last straw. My wife and I pulled our vehicle up and reloaded our ice chest and chairs and belongings, and again the clerk tells us we're not allowed to park in the Area with the only path to the covered patio.... At which point we told him we're leaving and not coming back. he continued to try and argue and we ignored him and left. This last trip took less than 30 minutes to sour us on the "resort".Noteworthy details: The rooms, bathrooms, and overall facility are completely run down and some of the rentals look like something out of a horror movie.

If you love hot springs, this is a unique place you should visit. It's in a small town on the out skirts of Death Valley, in Tecopa, California. This is my 3rd time staying here, and the place is under new management. They have made it look brighter with new paint on the buildings, inside and out. They also added an outdoor swimming pool and more hooks to hang wet clothing and towels in the rooms. They have 4 private hot spring pools that are clothing optional. They range in temperature around 104 to 110 degrees. There is a 30-minute time limit for the private pools. If all the private pools are occupied, there is a nice waiting area with lounge chairs. If no one is out waiting, you can keep soaking. The outdoor pool is clothing required that is heated to 98 degrees. There are 4 hot tubs surrounding the outdoor pool that are about the same temps as the private pools. There are no time limits. There are a variety of sleeping arrangements, from mobile homes and cabins to camping. Our room was a cabin with a queen bed, a kitchenette with basic supplies, a full stove, a microwave, a mini fridge, and a coffee maker. The bathroom only had a toilet and vanity. The only showers on the property were in the private pools. I wish they would change that. There is free Wi-Fi, but it really only works in the office area by the private pools and its spotty. You might get lucky in your room. Another thing I wish they would change. There are no small children at the resort. It's a quiet place.

Neat place. Will go back. Claims wifi, but never worked when I was there. Main, outside pool and spas were immaculate! Private ones were ok, but the main ones really set the bar high! Great vibe. I didn't stay in a room, but I got to see one. Very basic, but very clean. It's not a 5 star resort, but it's 5 stars for what it is. It is the desert, so take that into consideration. This trip was at the end of January, and by 10:30 am it was getting pretty warm. Perfect in the shade thou. Had we stayed longer, would have to put up the awning. I can't imagine being there in the summer.

I love the pool and hot springs but the room we stayed in was filthy and run down. In very poor shape. My husband has a list of all the violations. We paid around 300 a night for this disaster. It was the only one available with a kitchen and WiFi. Sadly I found another place called Death Valley Hot springs while we were staying there and it was so nice and clean and furnished nicely. I really wish we had gone there.

I have stayed in three bedroom complex for three days. Except for the master room, two other rooms were small. Cleaning could’ve been done better. Dust and oily stuff on Kitchen, and bathroom shower (water pressure) was horrible.Swimming pool was far, and I didn’t dare to walk to it after sunset because of cold and dark. I would’ve rented three separate small rooms closer to the pool if I have known it.

Tried one of the other (cheaper) hot springs resorts in Tacopa but this one is well worth the extra $. Went for one night in our camper van and stayed for 3 more. The Brewery/BBQ joint is walking distance and served up excellent ribs and brisket. We will be back!

We loved the main ‘warm’ pool and adjoining hot tubs the most. There is also private tubs which are hotter..so you can only spend up to 30 mins in them, which was plenty. I could not tell if it was chlorinated or not. The bathrooms were clean, just old. The front office staff could be a little bit more friendly. But all in all the place was exactly what I expected. The campground is where we stayed and was basic but fine. Not Calistoga style but also not Calistoga prices. We will return.

We visited today for a day use soak. We have been coming to this place for years. We were probably there for 30 minutes when the attendant announced that he needed to shut down 2 of the 4 soaking pools. This was necessary after finding purple water in one of the pools. We were told it would be hours before the pools were available. So after discussing the problem with my wife we decided to ask for a raincheck or a refund to return another time. A phone call later I was denied either. I will dispute the charges on my credit card for services NOT rendered. This visit was the worst. There was big areas of paint peeling and door locks in disrepair. Cleanliness was less than ideal. For those looking for day use at a clean location spend your money elsewhere. Lastly $35 for a weekend day rate? I will visit the location across the street next time and.....for less money.

To be fair, the hot pools are the only thing that should be mentioned. The rest is just obnoxious. We spent over 200$ for two. Fridge not working, air con louder than a jet, half the lights not working, merely clean and the interior completely outdated. Ah and the mentioned wifi only works in the office, but extremly lacklaster.

This review is for customer service -- but before booking READ THE 'CONTACT US' section of the website, they offer NO REFUNDS, NO DATE CHANGES, NO CREDITS. This information in my opinion should be in the FAQ section of the website and stated clearly and bolded. My father was put on hospice care 3 weeks prior to my stay, immediately contacted the front desk staff who said no refunds, asked to get the manager Courtney's email, send an email with documentation to Courtney about the circumstance during the Christmas holiday and there was no compassion, and no care from her, I asked via phone call and email if there was anything she can do to help me out given my father is dying. I requested a date switch so they could still KEEP MY MONEY just allow me to change the date due to me having to transition my father from hospital to hospice and the refused for the reason of 'to maintain quality and make sure their guests get the best service possible and they are commited to making sure their guests experience is enjoyable and memorable' to me a flimsy excuse -- as how does me requesting a date change almost 3 weeks in advance interrupt service quality or guest experience? They have $1000 of my money with a trip I may not take.

Not as sketchy as it looks. The small town is small so come prepared. Being able to soak at night and watch the stars was great but we had some drunk patrons that liked to inject into everybody's convos. Plenty of hot tubs and the pool is large. Highly recommend the private pools, they remind me of the Japanese onsens. As everyone says, no showers in the rooms. We got the 2BR house and it was comfortable enough for our 1 night stay. The location is great.

Dated rooms. No in room shower. No cold fresh water in room, but hot salty water, from sinks.Small but serviceable kitchen with small fridge. No coffee available on premises, none in room but it had a maker, so bring your own. Nice private

I enjoyed my 2 night stay at the resort very much. It was easy to find. The atmosphere was comfortable and relaxing. Everything was clean and well thought out. The little cabin was perfect. The choices of spas and the pool was great. Temps ranged from hot to just right. My stay was during the off season - July, with a heat wave approaching. Still, it was very pleasant and the little AC unit in the cabin performed well. Because of the season local amenities where closed so a short trip over the state line to Pahrump was fine and I enjoyed it too. I plan on returning sometime in the busy season to see the town bustling with Snowbirds and to try out the little breweries and dinners. Also to explore more of the town when weather is more accommodating.

We came here based on other reviews and to get away from the hustle and bustle of city life. The hotsprings themselves were great. 5/5 Stars. There are 4 private rooms/hot springs that's first come first served for 20 min periods. 3/4 have netted ceilings, and one is open air. Perfect for stargazing. The community pool/springs has 4 jacuzzi like tubs that connect to the main pool. The water was nice and hot in the Jacuzzis and private rooms. The pool was cooler and refreshing after a soak in the hot water. The lodging, on the other hand, was pretty bad. We booked the sandpiper trailer, and based on photos, it seemed alright at the time of booking. Little did we know that those photos were from 2000. The trailer itself was pretty old. You can open any of the windows. The bathroom had the shower removed, so you need to use the 1 public shower they have. The air conditioner in the bedroom was broken, so being in the middle of the desert in summer was tough. The air conditioner in the living room worked, though. The water pressure was lacking, and the water that came out of the faucet and toiled was green... it was pretty gross. There's a Fee if you don't wash your dishes. However, they don't even give you dish soap. So the plates were washed in green water. The furniture inside was old and uncomfortable. The couch was falling apart. At least the place was pretty clean, not completely clean, but pretty clean. That's the only positive here. This would be an amazing trip if the lodging was a little better maintained. I can't speak for the cabins, but this specific trailer was bad.
