Great food, great service and great atmosphere. The perfect Country Store. You can feel the history here. Super friendly and accommodating staff. Had a fantastic burger fresh off the grill. They grind their own meats and make their own blends, so no frozen patties here. Getting rung up on the big old register takes you back in time. There is a wonderful patio on the shady side of the building, surrounded by beautiful sunflowers, to enjoy your lunch.

Great little general store, with a rich history. The staff is friendly, and helpful. There is a decent selection of items, including healthy organic options, and they make excellent custom sandwiches. A great shop in a wonderful town!

Only deli that serves gluten free bread (around these parts). Great selection of organic foods, beverages and sandwiches. Love the historic building, the umbrella dining patio and the flowers. Staff is experienced and usually open to suggestions. I drive 10 miles out of my way to eat here, when traveling through Indian Valley.

LOVE Youngs Market!!! Every person who visits me in Meadow Valley get a trip to Taylorsville for lunch and an espresso.Love the people, love the food, love the town and of course so fun to take Bullet cause its so dog friendly.Another thing I love is the owner has enlarged photos from the past and framed and hung them around the top of the store walls. Just a wonderful and delicious place.

Stopped in for a drink and wound up having the expresso ice-cream shake made by the wizard of shakes. It was of the charts. Staff friendly and engaging. Next time plan on trying the burgers.

This store, its staff are the greatest!! Taylorsville is undoubtedly THE happiest community in the Sierra's. Everyone waves at you and they all have smiles on their faces. The people in the stores are wonderful. When in Plumas County you must visit Young's market in Taylorsville. The sandwiches, selection of upscale snacks was awesome. Loved the Tates cookies!! Whoohooo Jobe Taylor would be proud ladies, it was so nice to see people in a store blearing great blues, jazz, rock. Singing because life is so fricking awesome. I feel better after going into this store, it was therapy. Then the drive up to Antelope lake, one of the greatest drives on earth. Bravo Ladies!! The secret of life is how you affect others in a positive way. Oh yea, you all know that don't you... Love Taylorsville!!! Lee you are hilarious!! Keep up the fun. Jack Trout

Great "old school; old west" building with a great store filled with hidden gems.The register is a working antique.A woodstove heats the inside.Great groceries and homemade lunches, milkshakes, etc.Come check it out!

Just a beautiful little store run by nice gals. We were on our way up to Antelope Lake and stopped in for a sandwich. Store was neat as a pin and had lots of delicious snacks and gourmet items. Gals running the show were sweet and helpful and, BTW made a nice sandwich. We even got a cute little drawing on each of our sandwich wrappers. Such a nice personal touch in a world where this is rare. Thanks, we will be back!

Lovely cheeses, sandwiches, coffee. Their whiskey fennel burgers are best burgers I've had. Love the flavor. They can grill you up one or you can take patties home to impress your friends!

This is one of the most awesome country stores I have ever visited. Not only is it neat and clean, but this little store in the middle of nowhere, has a great inventory. Good wines, good cheeses, good choice of breads and canned goods. It's the real deal. If that weren't enough, the owner and her daughter are courteous, kind and knowledgeable. Stop in, even if you don't need anything. You won't regret it.

Young's Market has some of the best burgers in Plumas County. They are juicy and flavorful. The buns are amazing also. I would highly recommend a visit. Outside seating is available.

This is a lovely place. Groceries, delicious sandwiches, cheeses, sodas. Beer, beautiful fresh meats and deli items galore. Friendly, clean, a great little shop. Lots of stuff one doesn't have access to in this neck of the woods. Homemade soup! Decent French bread, and that is saying something for this part of the forest. Love it.

Wonderful small town store and lunch spot. Things move pretty slow in taylorsville so when you go to the store remember not to be in a hurry. Service is great food is wonderful always love stopping in there.

an awesome little market with lots of organic food, a deli with delicious sandwiches, steamy hot chai for cold winter days, a special tea for colds with cayenne and a bunch of other herbs that will rev up your immune system, a real wood-stove to sit next to on a cold day and wonderful music to make you wanna sing along and/or dance while shopping... scrumptious catering is available - and of course Kelly and Lee keep the magic flowing every day...
