Small business feel. Almost like a mom and pop. They price match. That's cool. However, they don't carry the Petco owned brands that my dogs are used to. Oh well I guess I'd rather support this business than those vicious ripoff sharks at Petco. Vote for the underdogs!!

Zero stars -C. The manager was rude at Pet Food Express to me when i was returning dog food that made my dog sick. He could care less about me or my dog i went in happy and left angry! Horrible customer service.I don’t recommend this place to anyone lots good pet food around this area you can go to. Please avoid this place. -C

Great pet store! Love love love the self wash tubs. Provides apron, water proof collars, towels, 3 different options for wash, rinse and velocity blow dryer. Staff is friendly and courteous. Sometimes asks to give pets treats.

Was just in to wash my dog Joanie! Poor girl has to use a medicated shampoo this week and needed a good deep clean, and my vet recommended coming here. Everyone was so nice. They even brought a bowl of treats over for Joanie to snack on while I bathed her! Facilities were clean and easy to use. Will definitely recommend to anyone!

I absolutely love this location!! I have 2 dogs- pepper who is scared to death of new people and Ludo who is a serial cryer husky mix. I’ve taken them for baths here and the staff made my reactive dog feel comfortable within the boundaries I have due to training! No petting but they got her to catch treats and it helped her training so so much. I appreciated that so much that day. I also was able to find a really inexpensive raincoat for my friendly husky mix! He’s ginormous so I expect everything to be pricey but was so excited to see a great deal. This is my fav store by far- beyond the other chains and offers high quality items I can’t find at those chains. Staff is always excellent! As always, Pet Food Express did not disappoint! I brought my newly adopted Pitbull in literally before I brought him home for the first time and the staff was absolutely amazing!! I told one of the girls to basically start a tab for me since I literally had a 60lb. Pit on a $2 shelter leash and she was totally understanding!I got him washed by using their self service area- $15 for 25 minutes with shampoo and conditioner included and the option of air/ towel drying at the end. Theres hooks that attach to the provided collar, but if you have a slippery one, there are "loose dog buttons" that will close the automatic doors.After the wash, we walked down EVERY aisle. The staff was so thoughtful and so kind to Max- he was treated like a king with treats and pets!! Great selection of quality food, treat, toy, and equipment brands.Max pretty much picked his own toys, so thank the doggy lords for their buy 3 get one free!! They had a dog adoption in front which they sounded like they would schedule again, and they offer social gatherings which I think is awesome.Thank you again to the Cinco De Mayo staff!!-Max, the most spoiled pup in the world, and Korin, his walking bank🐾

Super friendly store, I called in advance to check a product. Not only was the associate super friendly and checked for the item to be in stock he went back to tell me the lengths. When I arrived to pick up the animal recovery suit all three associates greeted me and one of them walked me to the item I was looking for. From walking in to checking out I was attended to. It's really above and beyond then what you usually get shopping nowadays. They also gave my cat treats to try

Friendly helpful staff, I clean my grand dog Duke twice a week using Pet Food express’s self-service grooming stations. Duke has become accustomed to his shower; it’s fun for both of us. I only call him my grand dog because I enjoy spoiling him like grandparents love spoiling their grandchildren. If you are looking for an affordable place to clean your pet and reasonable prices on all your pet-friendly toys and food, Pet Food Express is an excellent place to go.

I came into this shop recently after reading tons of positive reviews. My dog had surgery 2 weeks ago and I came in here to find the best possible food/accessories that could aid in her speedy recovery. I just felt so helpless!Upon entering, I was immediately greeted and offered assistance by multiple employees. After explaining my situation to an employee, she quickly offered some of her experience with certain food brands and presented my with a couple of items she thought I would be interested in. I ended up trying out, Just For Dogs and am very thankful that I did. My pup has made a speedy recovery and has never looked better.Since this visit, I've already come back in 2 more times. I found some stray kittens in my backyard and once again, I popped in, was greeted, and employees offered personal advice/guidance as to what items I could purchase to tend for these kittens. Moreover, they were very helpful with strategies to tend to them.I must say, this is a stellar team! Additionally, I love that all the products here are quality and in my opinion, very affordable. This will definitely be my new usual Pet Store.

I'm so lucky to have this Pet Food Express so close to home. Not only do they have a wide range of affordable products, but the staff is always so warm and welcoming. Every time I bring my dog in, they greet her by name and give her treats. Shows that they really care about their customers. Plus they’re always so helpful if you have any questions or need help.

This establishment has wonderful, helpful staff who have helped us find products that work for our challenging Geriatric rescue dog.They observe all the Covid 19 precautions so we feel safe shopping there.Special thanks to patient and knowledgeable salesperson, Bobby, who fitted our dog with a harness and winter coat that she enjoys and makes walking her in winter a more pleasant experience. She had rejected many past attempts to get her to wear a harness.

Fantastic location, wide selection of products, knowledgeable staff and valiantly observing Covid protocols. Special shoutout to the team: KEVIN - I called in asking for a certain product for my dog and he knew exactly what I was speaking about and walked me through the options. Sure enough, when I arrived later to the store, he had kindly set them aside and had the products waiting for me. But I had more questions and he very patiently had all the answers as he once again walked me through the options. BROOKE - Led me seamlessly through checkout, she briefed me on how to administer the product correctly and advised me she used the product for her own dog and fully trusted the company - which put me at ease. Overall beyond excellent customer service from both team members. I sincerely value their helpfulness, honesty and integrity. And with that I want to thank both Kevin & Brooke for their assistance. I will surely be returning to this location and would highly recommend this store to anyone in need of pet supplies.

Every Pet Food Express I've ever been to has extremely friendly and helpful staff, this location is no exception. This is a great place to take your dog for a bath. Their set up makes it easy to shampoo, rinse, and dry your dog. They offer aprons and towels to keep you dry and clean too.

WOW !!! Is all I can say, bravo to all the knowledgeable people that work there. I have three dogs and all required a special need. The young girl that helped us explained all the needs of our pets with never losing focus or getting distracted. The food is great quality if you buy three bags you get the Fourth free!!! Compared to other places it's reasonable.

I cannot believe I have never been in here before. The staff is very knowledgeable, super friendly, and helpful. They let me drone on about the problems I am experiencing with my cat and made suggestions that I had never considered. The selection on food is amazing, they were able to hand pick some items for my picky cat to try. I will definitely be coming back!

They made this Dr. Goldsteins bag food that was originally 79.95 to 99.95 and the reason I got it. Was because it is good dog food and if you bought 3 you got the 4th free but now it's the same as buying 4 with their $20 markup.Like 5 bucks a bag. Okay but 20! A bag lol

I've driven by this location numerous times but never went in. I needed to pick up some Just Food For Dogs recently and went to their site to get their hours. That's when I happened to notice I can also pick up my food at Pet Food Express! They have a large section of their back wall dedicated to Just Food For Dogs and have done training at the sherman oaks store. Super awesome as this is a more convenient location for me. They have everything else you need there too such as toys, poop bags, treats, training stuff, etc.

Great Dog Wash Facility inside this pet store. $15 to use the baths which include 4 different shampoos, blow dryer, towels, waterproof collars and aprons to help keep you dry. Even a scale to weigh your pooch.

The customer service here and also at the Calabasis/Woodland HIlls location is amazing. Everyone is so knowledgeable and willing to take time to listen of issues and help. Its worth the extra cost of buying from them.
