This is an awesome little market and deli/liquor store.Everything from cold drinks --fresh made sandwiches or fresh baked Stone baked Pizza...Reasonable prices, staff very helpful and friendly.There's a nice clean restroom.A nice selection of gifts or candy / whatever you might need.😜😎 If you park in the back of the store you can take the stairs up there's a little baskets back there you can take him to the store and fill your basket up with whatever you need for your purchase.It's worth the drive 😉

Coffee was good, not great. Took 25 minutes to get one coffee on a Monday morning! The line wasn't particularly long. The store was stocked though with higher prices than you're used to seeing but probably due to the location.

Nice store with everything being available. Also the store employees are very helpful. We tried their pizza and it was awesome. It was better than all the major pizza stores, so even if you don't want to buy anything, just go there and try their pizza and sandwiches. This store has everything of your needs, pretty much everything. So if you are traveling from South lake Tahoe to North, this is a good place. It's just 25 mins from places like Palisades Tahoe

We have been coming here since we purchased our home on the west shore over 10 years ago. Their sandwiches are delicious! On 10/7, our daughter got married at Sunnyside. I stopped in a couple days before the wedding and ordered 10 sandwiches for the morning of the wedding for the bridal party. I forget the girl’s name I worked with, but she was fantastic. She gave me suggestions for different kind of sandwiches and what meat would be good on what bread, she made sure they were cut into 4 sections each (they are definitely big enough to share), had all the condiments we wanted on the side and gave us utensils and napkins and even allowed me to prepay since I wasn’t sure who would be picking up the food the day of the wedding. My husband actually ended up picking them up and they made it super easy! They were packed in two boxes (one for the groom and groomsmen and one for the bride and bridesmaids). Everything each group needed was inside each box. They didn’t forget any detail or special instruction I asked for. The best part was everyone LOVED them. They liked them so much that several of them ordered them again the next several days after the wedding.

Pizza was okay, very little sauce, too much cheese, mushrooms and meats were sparse. See photo...Sandwiches are great, but I wish they would allow 2 meats at half portions, rather than charging extra and giving double meat, which is to much. We asked for extra pepperocini but got extra red onion instead.

FANTASTIC little market! Specialty coffees in the morning are good. Pizza and sandwiches (get it on the pesto bread!) are great but you must order about an hour ahead online. Great selection of grocery items. Really appreciate the vegan items they have in stock and love that they carry the Truckee Sourdough Company breads and bagels!!!

Went with my family to Lake Tahoe to get some skiing and boarding in. It was my kids first time to visit the lake and on our last day in town they wanted to drive around the lake and take in the sights. We started on our tour by visiting Emerald Bay. After jumping in the car to head to the next destination everyone started getting hungry and thirsty. Luck us we stumbled upon Tahoma Market & Deli. This little shop was not only a life saver but it is now considered a new found treasure on our future trips to the lake. It was a very clean, stocked and in order convenient store with a tasty and affordable sandwich shop inside. The whole family got a sandwich they really enjoyed and we will definitely be coming back on our next Tahoe adventure!

Great market! So happy to have in Tahoma. Seriously a life saver. They have all the necessities and more. Plus they have AMAZING fresh, made to order sandwiches & breakfast sandwiches (7-10 am), that are gigantic! They use house baked bread that’s super delicious. If you’re eating for one you can get a half sandwich. The whole is definitely enough for 2 people! Extra shoutout to the blonde girl that hooked me up with extra pickles. Definitely stop by if you need groceries, beer, liquor or just an awesome fresh sandwich. We already came back today after having one yesterday 😂

Before they remodeled, I think it was better when they were the old way, but they have a bigger variety of made food from their daily. They did not have pizza like they have now.

So cute and everything you might need to pack up for a great down on the water in Tahoe. Deli(sandwiches are huge), small bakery items and pizza too.Wonderful selection in wine and spirits for the evening and local homemade candies too.Definitely make a stop again.

I have been a customer of Tahoma market since the opening and PDQ also, so today a young woman with no cordial bone in her body would not bag groceries because it's not her job...what!? We as a people should be willing to help others whether bagging groceries, opening a door or whatever, be a part of the solution not the problem. Shame on her and anyone who would support that behavior.

Lovely store with amazing employees. The food they make at the deli is great. Very large and tasty sandwiches at reasonable prices. They have an area to sit and eat with a lake view outside, or tables inside with some pretty fast wifi.

The women who works behind the deli with brunette hair and the tattoo by her ear… shouldn’t be working in customer service. She is extremely rude and patronizing. I asked a simple question about a sandwich and got a 5 minute lecture about how I am screwing up the entire line for the entire day. That ended with “just so you know” and an eye roll. It was just a question…. Trust me, I won’t be coming back to spend $52 on 3 mediocre sandwiches after the way I was treated by her. I see other reviews complaining about her too. Not surprised.

Great sandwich but was very pricy. Also had to wait 40 minutes for the sandwich which is insane. If you have half an hour or more to wait for your sandwich, go for it. But I waited 40 minutes for a deli sandwich which was not cool. And it was very expensive for a sandwich. I like the place, and should have got the pizza probably because pizza's were coming out before my number was called that were behind me.

Prob the best deli in the area. The sandwiches are HUGE. They make their own bread too. The freshest sandwich I have had in a while. Definitely will be coming back. The line was a little slow but worth it. Call your order in.

I used to get tahoma market sandwiches before they remodeled and they were the best. Now they are mediocre at best. Bread wasn’t that good, it had like 1-2 turkey slices in it. They forgot some of the veggies. It was made poorly, but edible. Not terrible but just disappointing. There are definitely better options not too far away for a great deli sandwich.

We're so glad to have Tahoma Market back in the neighborhood. They are great for grabbing things we inevitably forget to stock or run out of. There selection is impressive given the size, and I appreciate their selection of quality ingredients. The deli is great and the staff are very sweet and hardworking.

Great place to stock up on the essentials. And if you're looking for a good sandwich., This is the place. Fresh made great choice of breads and toppings etc. Check out the fresh fruits too. I don't think I've ever had a juice here more delicious plum or peach.

This place has the freshest made to order sandwiches. I also love that it’s so clean. Every time I come to Lake Tahoe I find this deli. They also sell fresh vegetables and they bake their own bread. So worth it! ….. And so tasty 😋

Cashier can't count to 5.... Had 4.32 in change and was giving a dollar to get a 5 back and he became flustered and told me he already pushed the button..... I know help is hard to come by here in Tahoe but it's probably not good for Tacoma market if the money handler can't count.....

Once you walk in head towards the sandwich counter. The sandwich options are up on the board. We recommend that you get a half if your ordering for one and a whole if you are ordering for two or three. THEY ARE HUGE!!! Keep in mind if you order a whole don’t ask to have each half with separate ingredients… It’s not allowed…. Trust me we asked and were told “No, we won’t do that”.Large selection of yummy stuff to go with your sandwich as well as a nice selection of beer, wine, and non alcoholic beverages.

Been bouncing around in town with disaster services. Went out today to help a very good friend with his boat that survived the fires. He bought me a huge pastrami with extra meat mayo instead of mustard sandwich today for the 160 mile round-trip drive. It was absolutely The best pastrami sandwich I’ve ever had in my 65 years of life. Just a great job can’t wait to be a local at this establishment!
