Delicious smash burgers. We got the longhorn which was grilled jalapeños, bacon, and some sort of awesome cheese, and Lobo which had char, onions and cheddar!They gave us an extra sauce just like a chipotle ranch for the fries. I got a cream soda, which makes me feel like a little kid again. And we got a milkshake vanilla and Oreos added.

Great spot after your hike! The food is pricier than your typical burger spot. But they cook fast and their staff are friendly and helpful. Highly recommend getting the cult style fries and Tejas burger!Parking: It’s a smaller lot so it can get busy if the businesses in the same plaza are poppin’ during the summer.Wheelchair accessibility: There is a ramp for wheelchairs.

Really outstanding beef and Impossible burgers! This is the LOBO, with white cheddar and charred onions. The Cult-Style Fries - hold the bacon - are covered in some of the most excellent cheese sauce. And don’t forget the superb craft sodas.Vegetarian options: They do a super job with impossible burgers for all their specialties. And you really want their fries!Parking: There’s a pretty big lot. But on a summer weekend, or ski weekend, it could fill up, and you might have your walk a ways.

It’s a rich and savory burger with well grilled meat and well caramelized onion. It’s great cooking, but slightly greasy. Pricing is slightly on the higher side for what it is offering. Fries seem fresh and add ons are overall interesting, trying hard, but no surprise. No bathroom which is understandable, but a bit of a pain point (especially knowing hands will get dirty after eating such greasy food). I wish I could wash my hands (perhaps providing wet towel or installing a handwashing station)? No service but the device asked for tip which is like the norm now. Overall a decent experience but there is room for improvement.

I recently visited Cult Burger near our home in Meeks bay for the second time and I must say, they once again exceeded my expectations! The burgers were incredibly flavorful and cooked to perfection. The buns were fresh and soft, and the toppings were generous. The staff is friendly and the service was prompt. The atmosphere was cozy and inviting, making it a great place to enjoy a delicious burger. I highly recommend Cult Burger for all burger lovers!

I'm a local and all the positive reviews inspired me to stop by and try a burger the other day. I ordered the lobo, which had more soggy onions than beef and the lovely addition of a hair, which just made it gross. I had taken the burger to go, because there is not much seating, otherwise I would have returned it. I don't think I ever will be back to try any of their other offerings. Such a disappointment because I had high hopes for a new burger joint.

We ordered double patties for both our burgers. They were decent and slightly dry. I did like they made their jalapeno chunky to provide some crunchiness. The pickle spears past their time in a jar, and the texture was too soft. The tomato jams provided some nice acidity and flavor. The Cult French fry is a pass; it's like baked dense potatoes with cheddar and bacon on top. For a meal, their burgers beat a lot of places around the lake.

What an amazing surprise to find this new joint! The high quality salt and peppered patty was piping hot with a light crisp, but not overcooked, and perfectly melted cheese percolated through. I added charred onions, tangy house-made pickle slices, and a stack of butter lettuce. The bun was just the right consistency and held together for the entirety of the pleasantly greasy experience. Their slogan is “Make it a Ritual” and dang it I might have to! Some of the best burgers in life come out of a window, this is one of them. (Don’t worry, there’s a side room to dine inside, and a bar on the deck out front.)

This is a very good burger, and I like to think I know my burgers. Very good quality and flavorful, on the salty side (but I like salt). The burger is very big, to big in my opinion. I mean I could finish it but would not feel good about it, nor would my stomach. Also, this place is definitely on the expensive side. 2 burgers & 2 fries (no drinks) $50. Plus it is to go, as they do not really have seating, especially in winter. That is a lot! I am happy to pay for quality but a little too expensive for me.

I love that this delicious establishment is so close by .. I went 4 days in a row and I plan on making it more than a ritual at this point. The Tahoma Burger is so delicious!Who knew cherry tomatoes would be the key ingredient that brings it all together! And it's not just plain cherry tomatoes, there's something magic that Quentin has done with these tomatoes that has made me crave when my next time I could come back for another bite of that burger would be.Not to mention the NECESSARY additions like extra tomato jam, cowboy fries, milkshakes, stubborn soda or the specials, which from what I can tell rn are on weekends but could change depending on the season and or supplies etc.On a side note, I had the opportunity to try The Vaquero, I'll tell you. That was absolutely delicious. I can't believe I was able to polish half of it off and my friend helped me with the other half. It can get messy, but there's utensils Provided to solve that problem.Don't let that deter you, everything that's in that jefe pairs well with one another to the point you'll contemplate saving half for later or just buying another one to have later on. Yes, it was that good.You've done an impression on me for sure and had me coming back for more, and for that I will continue to come back, tell all my friends and put y'all on the map.Hands down THE Best Burgers in Tahoe,Don't go anywhere else !!!Thank you so much Cult Burger!I can't wait for what's in store for summertime!Parking: Small parking lot but plenty of parking on the side of the roadsKid-friendliness: Buckaroo cheese burger isn't skimpy and you can add any of the additional sides to it.Wheelchair accessibility: Easily accessible wheelchair ramp

First of, food was great. Portion sizes are good. However, if you need service and a nice place to sit down and eat, this isn’t it. It’s set up to be more take out.Parking: There’s another popular restaurant in the same center and when they’re both open at peak times it can be difficult.Kid-friendliness: Not really.Wheelchair accessibility: Not recommended.

What a great burger! We’re staying nearby and decided to give this place a try. I appreciate that they have a minimal menu with only so many options. All the burgers sound good, and the fries were great! Definitely recommend getting their sauce with anything you order. A little on the pricey side but you get a giant burger and everything is all loaded up with all the toppings.

The chef/owner is a James Beard award winner who with his wife have created something truly extraordinary in eastern California. I don’t think anyone can compete with these guys in the state let alone the Western United States. The char on the bun makes the crunch last even after the half pound patty’s juices soak the bun. Try the Tejas Burger if you love the combination of blue cheese, bacon and haystack onions. The milk shakes are very good and they use Clover organic milk. We are so happy to have a quality burger spot near our family cabin and to support such a great business on the lake. It’s called Cult Burger for a reason.

It’s Tahoe, so you KNOW it’s expensive. $15-17 for a burger and $5 for fries may seem excessive, but it’s surprisingly worth it. The tejas burger was perfectly cooked, very juicy, with delicious fried onions and their smoky “cult sauce” (which also goes great on the thick-cut fries). Service was very friendly. If you find yourself around Sugar Pine Point, this is worth a stop.

Kinda pricey but worth it! Huge delicious burgers, bomb fries, friendly staff. Two people could easily share a burger and fries. I do however wish they had ketchup don't care for their sauce. Highly recommend trying.Parking: Don't go at popular times. small parking area shared with other businesses makes for difficulty parking. Spent 10 min circling the area searching for a spot. But we'll worth the wait.

Fantastic burger, great fries, good service. The Lobo Burger was perfect - brioche buns, perfectly cooked burger, good sauce, and great onions. The fries are made from red potatoes and they were perfectly cooked. Not gonna lie, I was skeptical of others giving 5 stars, but this place absolutely deserves top-tier status. Definitely recommend!

A real burger not some cookie cutter patty, cooked perfectly with the yummiest tomato jelly sauce and soft bun. It was a bit messy, ask for extra napkins! AND fries (potato wedges) made from real potatoes. Also, my friend had a milkshake and she said it was delicious. We sat on the picnic tables with the dog, just perfect after a long hike.

Definitely need to stop here if you’re in the area.Wheelchair accessibility: They have a study ramp to get to the ordering window, however it might be a tight squeeze near seating if they are busy.
