Great little market, deli, and coffee shop. They have a great beer selection including local beers, a wine cellar, an ATM, the basic food essentials, a bit of dog/cat food, and much more. The staff is friendly.Breakfast is from 7-10 and lunch is from 10-3:30Only downside is it’s a bit pricey, but it makes sense given the locationVegetarian options: Some vegetarian optionsDietary restrictions: Ask the staff, all made there so can adjust to an extentParking: About 10 spots infrontKid-friendliness: YesWheelchair accessibility: Yes

There is an amazing baker here making the tastiest cinnamon rolls. I came by the market in February at opening when the rolls were coming out of the oven. They normally come with cream cheese frosting for those who like the richness of it, but I’m allergic to cream cheese. Dinorah, the baker, was kind enough to make a simple sugar icing for the two cinnamon rolls I bought. I ate one warm while at the market. I had the other one after snowboarding and it was still fantastic. I’m back here in April for 3 days and l’ve bought 8 more cinnamon rolls to share with friends, but honestly, I’ve eaten most of them. I call before I come to request the sugar icing, and she’s so kind to accommodate. I haven’t tried the other baked goods as I’m obsessed with the cinnamon roll, but they look delicious.

I’ve been to the west shore market a handful of times. Most often and I go there to just get a sandwich. Today I stopped in my with my wife and we got the turkey club. That’s how much is amazing! The staff there was very super friendly to on our way out we made sure to grab a cookie to go with her sandwich. But I really like about this place is there is also a clean restroom. It’s a great place to be able to stop. It’s right off the highway 89. It’s also super easy parking.

This place is beyond cool with a great assortment of fresh food, beverages & gifts/souvenirs. The coffee / espresso experience needs refinement however. There’s no thank you or smile for your patronage, nor do they ask for your name to apply to your chosen beverage. I sat waiting for mine with a handful of other guests, two of which ironically ordered the same thing as me. Neither of us knew our order had been served & they were in front of me. Theirs sat there and grew cold, while these guests came at me when I went to pick up mine that were served after theirs. Note none of the workers jumped in to lower the confusion. A wise customer standing next to me cleared it all up by explaining the nuance way they write out your beverage’s type.I realize the Tahoe City vibe invites a little aloofness but it has no place in the midst of a for-profit business.Let’s go

I want to like this place. I really do. We live in Incline Village and often make the drive over. However, we are just constantly disappointed. First I want to say that the sandwiches are very good and the baked goods, especially the cookies and cinnamon rolls are AMAZING!!! But.....the service. It's horrible. They hire very young kids (too young to offer good customer service and be professional). And they are ALWAYS out of the cookies and bakery items. I mean how do you run out of all bakery items by 1pm on a Saturday?? I understand items must be fresh and they do not want to throw anything out, but nothing at 1pm on a Saturday? (this has happened at least 4 times). If you are going to have a bakery, have one. Make enough to last till the end of the day, sure run out of some things towards the end. That being said, we no longer wish to make the drive to be constantly disappointed, which is sad, because we are Lake Tahoe locals and want to support local businesses, but we have to actually be able to purchase the foods we like.

We love West Shore Market. The deli sandwiches are great and they have a nice selection of other snacks and foods. Ice cream and coffee bar as well. Nice outside area with tables to eat (inside seating is also available)

We had an AMAZING experience at West Shore Market. It was the best meal we had while in Tahoe City and the best pastrami I’ve ever had. We got the Pastrami Sandwich and the Smoked Mozzarella Pasta Salad. Both were DELICIOUS and even with splitting both we had more than enough food. Highly recommend!

Delicious sandwiches. One of my favorite spots around the lake! Great little shop for necessities, local goods, breakfast, lunch, soup, gelato and much more! Stop by, you're pretty much guaranteed to find something you'll love!

We stopped in to grab sandwiches after passing by the last two days. We were pleasantly surprised how adorable the market is and how friendly and helpful everyone was. We got the club and Cuban sandwich and both were fantastic. The line was long to order but it moves quickly and we had our food very quickly. Grabbed some California Cider from the cooler and headed outside. We found a spot just a few hundred yards from the market and ate on the shore at a nearby pick of table. We had a wonder experience and will be back again during our visit I’m sure!

Been here over 100 times and would normally give it 5 stars. Today, 13Aug2023 at 12:35pm, my 5 year old daughter wanted to order her own sandwich. As she was ordering, the cashier grabbed a slip of paper and a pen and told her to fill out the slip for any special order.. I then articulated what sandwich my daughter was trying to order and then the lady quickly grabbed the slip of paper and told my daughter not to write on the paper as it her last one. Not sure if the lady at the sandwich register is partially autistic, but she should not be allowed to interface with kids and should not be permitted to really interface with customers.

Super cute and I would have given 5 stars except I arrived at 3:15 to get a sandwich and there was a big "Closed" sign in front of the deli counter declaring the deli is only open until 3:30 - and they wouldn't take my order. Call me confused, but if you want your staff to leave on-time just change the closing time to 3:15 or 3 or something instead of misleading customers to think you close at 3:30 when in truth you close earlier. Otherwise, great groceries and fun, unique local goods. Madness in terms of crowd during 4th of July - and beware there's a hidden bike path right behind the store that's not marked and tourists just fly into the road.

There is zero employee training, I have given this place a few chances but every time I come there they disappoint.1. If you order any kind of iced coffee it tastes like water2.The sandwiches are greasy and poorly made3. The prices are outrageous, there is making a profit vs taking advantage of people.

Wish they would add a drink with the kids peanut butter and jelly. Didn't know it was on sliced sourdough. Strange bread for a child sandwich. $10 was a was allot for what my son got. My Ruben was ok. $16. Full belly deli next time. For twice the sandwich. Paying for the location not the food.

Cute. Fancy. Pricy. They had a limited selection of some very nice brands of ice cream, including some dairy free products I am not allergic to. I enjoyed the one I chose, but there was nothing in the dairy free "ice cream" with much chocolate in it. (My favorite is Oatly Brownie Fudge, which they didn't have.)

I love the West Shore Market. Do yourself a favor and get here early for the cinnamon rolls before they sell out. They also make great espresso drinks and delicious sandwiches, and they have a decent selection of beer and drinks.Outside dining area is close to the lake and dog-friendly.

After hiking to Maggie's Peaks and back, we were hungry. This place was open. Everyone was friendly. Service was fast. BUT... for $16 the roast beef sandwich was like something a kid packs for a school lunch. I expected piled high ingredients. Disappointing. It was a nice little place but come on and throw an extra couple of slices of meat on the sando. It tasted good, but was a snack not a meal.

Great pastries & coffee in the morning (best scones I’ve had around the lake by far), and a great sandwich menu for lunch (their bacon is great, so I love the BLT and the veggie sandwich with bacon added - naughty and delicious). Also they have a fantastic liquor and craft beer selection, and a few great cheese & charcuterie items. I wish they had more produce, but they do have the basics. And hey, there’s a staffing and housing shortage in Tahoe - give the team here a break. Everyone up here is doing their best. Be kind and tip heavy, even for counter service.

Their deli serves delicious sandwiches to 3pm, and after 4 pm, they have flat bread pizza. Staff is very helpful and friendly.

Really disappointing sandwiches. We ordered a bunch of them for our boat day. I guess my friends have lower standards than I and didn't seem to have an issue, but I ordered a pastrami. It had 2 slices of meat and was utterly saltless and tasteless. How is that even possible with cured meat and Russian dressing?Nice place but man my sandwich was beyond lame.

This place is one of our most favorite go to places in Tahoe City. Delicious sandwiches, some nice choices in the market section, but the vegan brownies are to die for. Even if you aren't vegan, you have to try them. We all agreed that they were their best brownies we've ever had!

It seems to be a popular place as when we arrived at around 5pm, on Saturday, sandwiches were sold out . That is ok for us. We are here for pizza. We ordered California Chicken, which is perfect
