Such a cute shop with a specialty selection of toys, food, treats, leashes/collars, and accessories. The owner is so kind and quite obviously a dog lover. It’s an amazing store with amazing staff! Worth bringing your dog in. We came out with a haul for sure. :-)

Scraps Dog Bakery is a must place to stop in with your pup. The customer service is impeccable. The owner and the staff have a huge passion for your pup's health. If your in Lake Tahoe it should be on your list of places to visit. Beach across the street and excellent restaurants near by.

Stopped in this shop while in town with my family and had a great experience. The owner spent a lot of time helping us pick out a new harness and treats for our lab. We also fell in love with the shop dog - my kids talked about it for the rest of the day.

Seemed like a cute store that my kids were excited about to get our pets a treat. When we walked in the owners dog was barking but the owner reassured us that he was friendly. My daughter pet the dog and he quickly turned to bite her arm through her sweatshirt but thankfully not to the skin. Absolutely ridiculous that a business would have an animal that would bite a child. I will never return and I caution anyone to go in with their children while the dog is present. I hope the owner learned a valuable lesson.

Owner or person working the desk was the sweetest. Asked if she could give our dog Sadie a treat and really spent time getting to know Sadie and us. Very helpful and bubbly character that made us very grateful to have decided to visit the store. Also great selection of healthy and quality products. Sadie was over the moon.

The person at the counter tried to give our dog a treat without asking us if it was okay, which is something no professional who interacts with pets should ever do. You never know a strange dog's dietary restrictions or allergies.We also asked her if she stocked any vegetarian treats, and she said no and proceeded to lecture us about how dogs cannot be vegetarian (ours isn't, something she never bothered to ask. He eats some vegetarian stuff because his vet recommended it). Here are the only points she made about why she thinks dogs can't be vegetarian:1) she's had a lot of dogs2) she's 71 years old3) her "homeopathic vet" said so.Every thing our dog eats is approved by his vet and a vetinary nutritionist, but I guess if you want to follow advice from a system that has been disproven repeatedly for years and be condescending to people who come into your store, you're on the right track! Well done!I really hope that her belief in homeopathy hasn't taken over her common sense and her dogs are okay.If you do have to go into this store keep a close eye on your dog especially if it has any dietary restrictions, and try to not talk to the person.

I absolutely love Scraps. I have been going there since 2011. The owner is so friendly and very helpful. I wouldn’t go to any other pet store but Scraps. Highly recommend Scraps! I promise you won’t be disappointed.

The name is misleading. It's a small pet (mostly dog) supply store. Food, toys, collars and leashes, and some treats. However, I did not see many handmade.
