The staff are incredible here...😊Wide selection of anything you would need for your animal whether it be a rabbit, a cat, a dog or reptile.Quality foods snacks and animal care products--you can even get a nametag made for them.I bought my dog a pair of booties/$86. Bucks well spent)FYI--if you take your dog wear in the booties into the lake remembered to rinse them out before you take them for a walk because they will get filled with sand and that'll be uncomfortable for them. 🐕😃I even got a free meal mixtures chewy chicken recipe snack pack for my Cookie monster 🐕🐕🐕😊😊😊😊They have several different locations--one of the best pet stores I've ever been to.

Excellent selection of pet products here. Place is ran by animal lovers and it shows. They regularly sample treats to test them out, and always have recommendations. I learned a lot from staff when I got my puppy two years ago, and appreciate the thoughtfulness and knowledge of the staff on everything they sell. Also, I don’t know if he’s the manager, but the fabulous man that always has lovely nails is the best. I showed up 2 minutes after closing to get dog food, and even though they had already closed the registers, he let me buy a bag to feed my lil guy. So sweet! Also, don’t miss the display case of locally baked dog treats, from adorable cookies to actual doggie birthday cakes, when you are in the mood to spoil your own fur baby.

The employees at this lication are knowledgeable, helpful, and friendly. I felt like I was in a great pet store. However, an employee at the Truckee location started yelling at me because, he said, I "wasn't listening" to him. Believe it or not, I can listen without staring into his eyes. He then threatened to take me outside(I'm not kidding) in front of many customers. When I called the owner to let him know, twice, he blew me off. I have options. Including spending less and having it delivered to our door. I tried to help because I have always adored the staff. I guess the customer service philosophy has changed. It's really too bad... guess they're opening the door for another pet food store to move in. I can't wait!! 👍

I love this pet store! Kind and friendly staff lovingly greets my dog and me (well, at least I get a very warm hello; the dog gets the extra love) as soon as we enter. They have a wide assortment of pet products and I don't mind paying a little more than ordering through e-stores because I believe in supporting locally-owned businesses. Very accommodating store owner will order anything not already in stock and the prices are reasonable.

Zero sales on small business Saturday. I asked about a sales for the occasion and the response was that they suppose to participate, but oh well, full price please. I'm off to PetCo where the pets go and pet owners get to participate in what is a national event. I guess shopping online for discounts pays better too, rather than trying to support local.

Good option for quality pet foods and supplies. Some staff is very knowledgeable about certain pets. They have 3 locations and all are pretty small so dont expect a Petco level of options but they can and will get you anything you need.

Bonnie at Pet Station Tahoe City is the best! Custom orders, care tips, help for friends pets or anything you need. Do it your self dog wash is a go to for pesky dogs that like to get dirty on walks and hikes. Sales and perks for frequent customers via text message. Dog treats here and dog parking next door at Tahoe House for Human Treats! Yum.
