Another great Locals secret.We've had multiple pets over the years. When we needed specific items for the health of our pets. This has been our go to place. I love this place! Excellent source for raw pet foods (complete and individual ingredients). Also, excellent selection of very high quality kibble, freeze dried, and frozen pet foods and treats. The staff is always warm and friendly when I visit.

Wonderful selection of dog and cat foods, t-shirts, and toys. They even make their own foods custom made for your pet. Darling store! Their employees are all knowledgeable, kind and friendly. I generally buy Xkaliber, Vital Essentials, chicken hearts, toys, etc. They deliver to several sites around northern California.

We have fed our 7 year old 80 lb. female German Shepherd only Excel K9 raw food since birth. We meet them for delivery only every 3rd month because we have a big freezer. This is optimal food for your dog's good health. Our vet notices the difference and always comments on the benefits of raw food. it's easy to work with Excel and they always get the order right. Delivery is always as scheduled. Great company, products, and people.Things to think about: Ours is about $190/month, so more than dry food, but much less than buying raw from the pet store. It is a bit more work to store, thaw, serve and clean up. Sanitation is importand for raw meats. We go through lots of 1 gallon ziploc bags. It's also more work to prep for the kennel when we travel.

Just ask my dogs!! My 18 mo old bullmastiff has never looked better, and my 10 yr old mutt would do anything for her raw food meals! They are simply thriving on the meals Renee prepares in house, as well as the pork ribletts and brisket that my dogs LOVE crunching on. They practically inhale their food!My bullmastiff has a ton of allergies, so we moved to single protein diets, with limited ingredient veggies added. They reviewed our list of allergies and helped us dial in our weekly orders. Their staff are so friendly and patient in helping find solutions.We buy pork, venison and turkey "meals", and the balance in ribs and brisket.They buy their meat from the local butcher, so our dogs frequently eat better than we do.... They also have a great variety of bag dog foods, treats, supplements, as well as collars, leashes, toys and fun stuff. And cool t-shirts for the human element!

I've been ordering raw bones and other treats from Excel's website every few months for about a year. Love the products and love the customer service! They quickly answer questions and they have some of the best prices. Highly recommend!

My moms little dog will only eat the raw food that only this place sells up in the foothills not to mention great prices on the rest of the things they sell. Way better than the feed barn and they discount pet food on bulk orders of cat food for certain brand's.
