This store is one of the best run stores around this area also a very well stocked store. They have it all. Also there prices are bearable in these high inflationary times. So enjoy your time at a great place. Where you can afford to shop

Absolutely best Wal-Mart I've ever been in! There were 5 people in the self checkout line, an employee got on the PA system, and 5 lanes opened! Great selection and great service.

Funny how they want to accuse someone for stealing and say they have it on video and then change the story to an employee saw you do it. When the employee walked up into the conversation and admitted the she only saw my husband on the back wall and that she didn’t see him take anything. We were very open to them padding us down to even looking in my purse. Truly disrespectful to assume when you have absolutely not proof and change your story. Yet you let an employee work there that try’s and gets with mirrors and when it’s reported you fire the other employee. Place is a joke.

More and more Walmart is falling out of favor with me. Between the lack of cashiers, locking up almost everything these days forcing customers to request help to get an item that often takes 10 minutes or more to show up, an almost systematic discontinuation of the items I like most, and online order fillers blocking aisles with their huge carts, it's almost not worth it any more. I used to love the convenience of one-stop shopping because of their variety and in most cases better prices. Again, not so much any more. There are still bargains to be had but I often cringe at the thought of going there and only do it when I have a large shopping list, otherwise I go elsewhere

I mostly only get pick up orders from here, when the items I need are in stock, which isn't often. A few of the employees are helpful, the rest run when they see customers.

Stop regularly on road trips for bathroom breaks. Not the cleanest of stores by far (South Carson is REAL nice), but easy in and out and appreciate Subway pretzels when we can occasionally get them~

On 01/18/24 around 12:30 pm, I witnessed a Walmart employee-female small petite with blonde hair yelling at an elderly employee near the liquor isle by the checkout stand. It was absolutely unprofessional and straight verbal abuse. It was so sad to watch and I could tell the older woman employee was very upset. The blonde employee was very cruel and intentionally tried to humiliate the older woman. What an awful experience to witness such nastiness.

I realize that I was shopping late on Christmas Eve but to have employees start turning off lights in building and in the refrigeration section before store actually closed. BIG NO NO TWO THUMBS DOWN!!

All the normal setup. Store pretty clean. Self checkout employees were deep on conversation and did not seem to have any consideration for lost customers. We made it blatantly obvious we couldn't find water, and neither one asked if we needed assistance.

I had a hose that froze and broke that fed my toilet tank with water they had what I needed, and my dog loves Walmart everyone takes time to pet him.

Looking for something and ask a worker about it. She couldn't find it on the shelf. She looked it up on her cell and said she could order for me. Then she found a similar thing hanging there. I was satisfied with it. SHE WAS VERY HELPFUL

Stopped here for some fishing stuff. Not a whole lot of selection but they had what we needed. We bought ice and an ice chest form here too. Some camping gear. It was a nice walmart. The parking was not bad compared to what we usually deal with.

Kind of q smaller Walmart and a strange layout, other than needing to hire more staff instead of having one person for 5 departments with keys to all of the glass enclosures, which the person did great, the management that put her in that situation, not so great.

It's a Walmart. The employees are (generally) polite, the ones in customer service deal with angry customers all day (seriously people: what ever the issue is, don't take it out on them. They want to help, but policy is set by people way above them who couldn't care less) but they try to stay professional. Decent selection of stuff prices have been going up but that's the story across the board. Most Walmarts aren't terrible places. Just terrible customers sometimes wander in.

One star because it is within walking distance, and because the staff is friendly, which surprises me seeing how it is CALIFORNIA after all. But this Walmart has zero selection. I mean NOTHING! I'm 48- years-old and I've never seen a Walmart that had NOTHING to offer consumers. Nooooooothing!

My first visit to Susanville Walmart. I found the store to be very clean, well stocked and zoned nicely.I made a habit of stopping employee's and deliberately asking questions. I was greeted every single time with a smile and a good attitude.I live out of town, quite a distant from Susanville and I would absolutely, happily spend the gas and the time to drive to this store again.Thank you all.
