We couldn't be more pleased with our experiences at both Club K9 locations. Tara at the San Ramon location helped us with our dog getting acclimated to boarding and social play. Thank you Tara for making our vacation worry free in regards to our dog care! Patricia at the Sunol location was wonderful about sending us pictures and updates about how our dog was doing during her vacation. Their tender loving care is so evident with their intake questions and all the things they do when your dog stays there like keeping track of your dog's weight to make sure they aren't too stressed. This was our first time boarding our dog and it was positive in every way. Thank you Club K9!!!

I’ve been bringing my pups here for almost 2 years for boarding. They take such great care and give me peace of mind while traveling. The facilities are clean & they have plenty of yard space to suit different sizes/energy levels. The staff is wonderful & caring & it’s always an extra bonus when I get picture updates.

These guys are the best! They took great care of our dog Leia. There is a huge emphasis on customer service and it shows in every step of the process. The staff are great and they patiently work to your dog's needs. We were a little apprehensive about sending Leia to a daycare as she’s very timid and uncomfortable around strangers. Within a couple of visits Leia came out of her shell and started playing with the staff here. Can’t thank them enough for the exceptional care and patience with our pup. Clean facility and very reasonable pricing. They even send photos of your pup during the stay and it makes our day. Highly recommend for anyone looking for full service boarding or daycare in the area.

We visited the Fremont-Sunol Club K9 to see if this location would be a good fit to board our dog during vacation. We received a detailed tour of this facility and became very comfortable with the features of this location. Everything we saw was well kept and the dogs which were there seemed very happy. We would recommend Club K9 to other people.

We love this place! It’s a newly renovated and clean facility. My dog is reactive so the traditional boarding and day care is great for her. They are very responsive to emails and calls. They do a great job in caring for their furry guests.

My experience started off great...BUT THEN...the unthinkable happened. I went to pick up my dog. And for some reason all the staff that were still on the clock were there to watch me take my dog away. And the they were being EXTRA nice to me and my dog. This had never happened before. I noticed it was weird, but proceeded to take my dog to my car. In the car I noticed his tail looked a bit weird, but I had already started my car and was on my way. So I let it go. When I arrived home I noticed my dog was scared to go thru the front door of my house. "What the heck", I thought to myself. Once inside I noticed his tail again, checked it out to notice about 1 inch to 1.5 inches detached from the rest of the tail. HIS TAIL WAS BROKEN! And they acted like nothing happened. From the day my dog left that place, for the last time I might add, he has been scared of going thru doors. A tail will heal faster than the mental scar of a door slamming on his tail to break it. If I could give this place negative stars, I would gladly do so. NEVER NEVER NEVER again will I take my dog to Club K9 and anyone I talk to about Club K9, I ALWAYS tell them my story! The look of horror on their face pales in comparison to my horror. STAY AWAY!

We boarded our senior Dobe here for 3 nights last week, and I have to say how impressed I am with the service here. As soon as we drove up, someone came out to meet us immediately...same when we came to pick her up...they knew who we were and our dog. We had a small incident with her messing her bed, and they even washed her bed for us. I felt great leaving her there, and confident she would be cared for as she is at home. They even sent pictures of her in her play yard after we went home. I highly recommend Club K9 Fremont Sunol. They are awesome.

First time leaving our fur babies at a doggy daycare / boarding. We has an overall great experience. I really liked the set up of their facility. I like the daily reports given on our pups experience. Also my dogs really did seem to enjoy themselves.

Took my two small dogs to the Club K9 Fremont-Sunol facility for a tour early August because we need dog boarding for the December holiday. The staff were very attentive and showed much interest and attention in interacting with the dogs on site. My dogs were very happy when I picked them up two hours later after the staff observation of them. I like the most about this place is that they have the dog run for each kennel on the lower level. My dogs are not just sitting inside the kennel and feel miserable. They also have several play areas that separate the dogs by size and temperament. Nice place for dog boarding!

I am new to the Fremont area and visited various dog boarders and once I visited Club K9, I knew my search had pleasantly ended. My fur baby Lilly was receptive to the staff and normally she is a loner, but I gave it a go one day at their day camp for her to try and socialize and for whatever reason, she did very well! I do travel quite a bit during the year, and it is comforting to know that Lilly will be in good hands. The professionalism and true dog lover interest is here, and dogs know..... I appreciate the daily check in to me and that I am able to provide Lilly's own bedding that they clean before she returns home. The only reason I did not give Club K9 a 5 star is no pool, and Lilly loves to get wet and splash around....Very happy to provide this review! Great Job Club K9 !

This place is great for daily stays for my Pitbulls. They come home so happy and sleep well through the night with all the play time they get. The staff is so sweet and thorough with their interview process. I feel safe leaving my dogs in their care for their upcoming boarding stay.

Extremely appreciative of the team here! The entire staff is extremely friendly, informative and most importantly, they really do care. Everyone I’ve come in contact with is so genuine and I truly appreciate who caring they’ve been with Corby, my pup. You can definitely tell in the tone and care of the team here that they genuinely care for our pets; even just watching how they interact during pickup/drop off and over the phone.I’ve been taking my puppy, Corby here since he was 4 months old (1st daycare evaluation which is complimentary and a few nights of boarding). Every time I pick up Corby, he is cheerful, happy and most importantly tired (in the best way)! On his 1st day of daycare, the team provided an update by email and sent photos. This made my anxiety of leaving him for the first time really be at ease.Most important to me is how much this team really cares. The small things matter and I can’t emphasize how much I appreciate their excellent customer service. They even sent me a hand written card in the mail to thank me for having Corby stay and they can’t wait to see him again! His next boarding stay is coming up while I attend a wedding and I have some free daycare coupons; so I’ll definitely be back in the near future. I’m really happy and lucky to have found this top tier establishment!Scheduling and payments are extremely easy to use and understand as well. Five stars for the care and excellent customer service of this team! Thank you all and see you soon!

We were very happy with our experience. We boarded our two dogs there for 10 days and were confident they were well cared for and stimulated during their stay. Club K-9 staff were welcoming easy going and easy to get everything in order for our dogs stay. We picked up our dogs happy and clean. We will definitely bring them again next time we cant bring them where we go.

Fabulous spot to leave your canine family members. The staff is overly friendly and great with every dog. The new ownership has put a lot of resources and thought into developing additional outside areas for the pups to play and socialize. The inside 'suites' have very well thought out glass panels instead of wiring for the dogs to see the staff. Solid barricades separate each suite to separate unrelated pups. Very warm throughout and organized process for drop-off and pick-up. Additional services available for the end of the stay; bathing, nail clipping etc.Highly recommend! ❤️

My wife and I like this club so much because they take such a great care of my dog. The facilities are perfect. More importantly, all of the employees who we met are kind and nice. They love pets, and treat my dog as their own. After my dog stayed there a week, we talked about this club with other dog owners a lot. We always thought that we are very lucky to find the best place for our Angel dog.

My husband and I went to Club K9 in Fremont-Sunol and we were greeted by Alise. She was very friendly and she gave us a tour of the facility. We left our pet, Daisy for evaluation and she even sent us pictures of Daisy. I was very pleased with the facility. I will definitely use them in the near future.

Club K9 in Sunol is a terrific option for dog boarding! The staff is professional and friendly. I've mostly worked with Rachel who is always a delight, but every single employee I've interacted with has also been friendly and communicative during drop offs.I used their services more when I was traveling for work more frequently and would drive out of my way from West Oakland to use them because of the quality care they always give to my pup and the good value they offer.I often had to make last minute appointments for multi-day stays and they were always able to accommodate. Longer stays (6 nights I think) include a free bath. Recently they even helped me find a vet with last minute availability for a lapsed vaccine my little guy needed before boarding. They also try to send pics of my dog when they have time which I don't think is officially part of their service but always appreciated. The only slight downside is that their rates increased earlier this year, but the pricing is still very competitive, it's still a good value, and they've made very significant improvements to the facility so some of that extra money is going right back to creating a better experience for the dogs. (I hope the rest is going to the helpful employees!)I would definitely recommend Club K9 for your boarding needs!

Club K9 is a newer spot where your pup can stay for the day or overnight. We liked their updated facilities and routine, especially the option of all day play. If you are looking for some kind of training with boarding this isn't your spot, but if you are looking for a spot that can keep your dog busy and happy while you are away for a few days this is your place.

I've had my 1.5 year old Shiba overnight at this location and the Castro Valley one and they've been such positive experiences. The staff are all so sweet and when they have time, they're kind enough to send pictures of our dog via email. Please don't change! Keep up the excellent service and attentiveness to our pets!

I love club K9 for my pups! They are super responsive when booking and I love that they come to the car to get the dogs and their things! The staff is super friendly and they take the time to ensure they have the “directions for care” well understood. I also enjoy that they send photos of the kids as they run around the play yard! We boarded our 8month old super energetic Labrador pup for 3 nights. We just loved how they took care of our dog, and kept us informed on how he was doing which gave us a piece of mind. We have been taking our dogs (only one now because Merlot died last year) to Club K9 for years and keep going back to them because of our confidence in the way they treat our little girls. I appreciate the emails and photos they send to us to let us know they are doing well and are happy. As most of you know, the worst part of taking a vacation is leaving your dog(s) behind, but I always know they are being well taken care of. I certainly recommend Club K9 for anyone looking for a kennel.
