Bosco's is a welcoming casual Roadhouse, with great food and a fun honky tonk bar. We saw some really fun live music on a Sunday, which was a treat. Their smash burger was a big hit and the Frito Pie served in a dog bowl was hilarious and amazing. The  cocktails were awesome and this in the only place I've ever been served a beer out of a dog tap. That's right, a dog beer tap. The dog used to be Mayer of this tiny town, and when you lift his leg, beer comes out of exactly where you think it would. This place is definitely worth checking off your list of fun unique road stops in the Bay area.

NEW OWNERSHIP!! Super Friendly Team of Staffs!Located on Main Street in Sunol, CA with a humble population of 1,500 in Alameda County. Nice quaint little town that many bypass off 680, in the neighborhood of Tri-city.Excellent food!! Generous portion with a hearty taste. We enjoyed a nice lunch for the afternoon.Finally, I met Bosco, the Pup. ❤

Held a Club event at Bosco's yesterday with about 40 people. The food was fabulous, the service was outstanding, and every one of us had a wonderful time. I would highly recommend making a stop here on your next out-for-a-drive day. You will not be disappointed.

You walk into this cozy pub and meet a smart and friendly golden retriever and a happy dancin’ baby! You’d have to be dead not to fall in love. The Noodles were on the Sunday stage, Dan doing a soulful interp of Dock of the Bay and they did a passable Hey Joe without a guitarist. Color me glad. Our artichoke ricotta salad and chips was crazy delicious and my pint of Das Brau amber was just what I wanted. Bosco’s could be the center of the entire universe.

Nice old saloon with a warm friendly atmosphere. Inside it looks like it hasn't changed in decades which in this case is fantastic because it retains the authenticity. The food is causal American fare and the items we had were tasty. It's a big place with a bar/lounge on one side and an restaurant on the other although you can opt to eat in the bar area. Apparently there is Karaoke on some nights. A limited amount of free parking is available in front. Service is great. Prices are reasonable.

Nice quirky restaurant. We ate breakfast there sitting in the dog pound and watched the world go by. The price for what we got was excellent. The lunch menu looked a bit more pricey but still not bad. Our server was fantastic. She was friendly, explained the history well and was very prompt and fast with service. We will be back!

I was at bosco's last night with my husband. We were greeted by the busy bartender Kelly. right away.When she came over to get our drink order, she was so nice and made us feel at home.Her rmargaritas were excellent. And even though she was busy, she still treated us as if we were the most important people in the place. We ordered the wings and the chicken marsala . They were both very good.We will definitely be back.

Nice and homie atmosphere. The waitresses were kind and attentive. The food was amazing! I had the chicken marsala and my dad had the steak. Both were tender and juicy. Great portions for a fair price. Highly recommend for a date night or just to get away from the city. Will be returning!

Tried to get a reservation for 10 and they told me they already had too many big groups when we got there at 5 o’clock they were only three people in the restaurant and since in the only one that showed up with a drunken. The soup was warm how to send it back. The chicken wasn’t fully cooked the chicken masala sauce looked like French onion soup.

This was my first time at this place. This is located in a very beautiful historic building with two floors. It is very well maintained and there is much room for this business to grow. I ordered a vegetarian burger with scalloped potatoes and green beans. Everything was delicious and in hearty portions. The green beans were particularly excellent as they tasted fresh and not canned or frozen. They were cooked al dente and were crisp and wonderful. We looked around and marveled at the antique bar and future live entertainment facility. My only complaint is that beer and wine were not yet available as their county license had yet to be processed. When it is, I intend to return for more food and a chilled draft in this well preserved old west saloon and dining room!

Sunday afternoon is when I've been there more than once. There is the Bar of course, but separate from that is the restaurant, which on both Sunday afternoons that I've been there it has been an identical experience. Quiet atmosphere. Very nice tidy place decorated in a Historical/Victorian style. You are attended to immediately by the staff. Your meal arrives in a timely manner. I've had the California chicken sandwich both times, and it was great. A little mid afternoon snack to keep me going. Pricing is very reasonable. Not expensive at all. Sat in a cozy booth, with very private upholstered high back cushioning. There is also open table seating, and a large enclosed table for a medium sized group, near the front window, looking out onto the historic main street. You can also be seated outside in front, looking out onto Main street. I'll be back...

The new Bosco’s Restaurant is beautiful in Sunol,Calif. Awesome decor,beautiful comfortable seating, lovely lamps, historic pictures on walls, and even a high tech juke box as part of their bar. I really enjoyed their food & lemonade. Most of all very nice waitress. I will return…………..

This is one of the most amazing places I've ever stopped to get a drink and dinner. I regret not catching the Bartenders name, but his moustache was fantastic and the service was just as good! This is one of those places you walk into and immediately know exactly how good it's going to be. It may have been my first time, but it most definitely will not be my last!
