I love the dollar king, however I've seen better than this location which is in Glendale.I am glad we have one in the neighborhood.Everything is $1.11 but worth the extra $0.11 you can also find seasonal items and occasions decoration like birthday, baby shower and gatherings.Now they carry items that have different price tags not only a dollar per item.

They have the best selection and tons of quality items for a dollar store... hint... everything is $1.11. Great for party supplies, school/teaching supplies, storage and containers, cleaning products, hardware, PETS section is AWESOME! I probably spend at least $150/month here when I work in Sunland! :)

I was very excited to buy 3 packets of Kinder Schokolade here. As we left the store we opened it , tried it and it was completely old and tasted so awful that I had to spit it out. I went right back in to let them know and do a return but they would only exchange it for another item. After this rotten, awful taste in my mouth there was no way that I could even look at other chocolate.This is unfortunately very bad customer service and very disappointing since I spend lot of money here on a weekly basis.Maybe I should call the health department!They lost my business and as a teacher I was in there way to often…

It's easy to spend money here. Large selection of holiday goodies, cards, make up, foil, craft supplies, and plastic bags. Their batteries don't last very long imo. Good to have it so close. They charge more than a dollar also. Price keeps changing.

This dollar king is the best in The Valley! Plenty of parking and the store is always clean and they have a great selection of meat stuff, be careful though you might spend more than you wanted to in the 1st place, you just can't help it! Staff is really nice and friendly just overall a great experience we'll be back again!

I really love this store and I’ve been going since I was very young. It always has everything I need and I couldn’t ask for more but I do have a problem with the manager. Every time I go into the store it’s like she has something against me. She sees me and right away tells the workers to check the cameras or she follows me around. This has been happening for years ever since I was around the age of 16, i’m 20 now. I once bought something that was broken years ago and went back to explain to her the razor was broken. Of course it wasn’t her fault because it was an eyebrow razor that was never opened, how could she have known the razor was as broken. She didn’t really want to let us exchange and at the end she did, which I thanked her for. Ever since that incident she wants to have a vendetta against me. I’ve seen her there for years since I too have been buying from them for years. I’m not sure what she has against me but she needs to relax because honestly it makes me feel discriminated. (She is Armenian with highlights in her hair)

They have surprisingly almost everything that would come in handy on daily basis for just a little over one dollar from school material to kitchen supplies to decorations to woman's Care to Toys lighters ice cream even mechanical tools obviously they are not the top of line meterial but they are things that if u r stock will get u out of a jam for nothing over $1.50 at the max

These people are so insanely rude! Really obnoxious stuff who appear to be trained to treat customers with suspicion, very insulting to be shopping at a dollar store, it will $1.50 store now, and have someone following you around looking at you constantly as if they honestly believe you're there to steal some 99 cent nonsense. Really? Get a clue get some decent management and some employees that are not so arrogant and maybe I'll shop there again

The only reason why I gave Dollar King 5stars is because the manager Aya is the best. Always friendly & helpful. She's a dedicated, hard worker who should be appreciated more! Other co-workers are not so hard working or friendly. Everything in store is NOT a dollar& it needs better selection of merchandise, especially food items!

Dollar King is a good place to pop in to get many low cost items. If you are having a party a great place cards or wrapping paper, etc. I buy my trash bags various sizes, sandwich bags foil wrap. A decent stationary station. Just about everything you would expect to find at this type of a store. Plenty of free parking. Stop in and check it out.

Nothing is $1 anymore. It is now $1.21. Great variety on craft items. Not the best on ribbons and bows. Lots of nail polish and make up. Many items you wont find at the run of the mill dollar store. Always staffed with young friendly girls.

Lady in cash register was not nice when I asked if I could take in my tiny Chihuahua ... Bought some water toys that broke right away, didn't even last 30 mins. Quality was pretty cheap. I prefer their location in Colorado Rd , service is better and quality of their items is slightly better. Even their make up is good at Colorado Rd and I love their nail supplies for the price and quality. 👍🏽

Freq shop here staff is helpful and friendly in my experience they have a variety of items at $1.32 with tax from clothing to household essentials cosmetics office and school supplies holiday and seasonal items too ! I go to many different dollar king locations and they all are good for a discounted shooping trip with good quality items .. This particular location is my favorite because the staff is welcoming friendly professional and helpful

Armenia lady working there has a face mask BUT its just on her chin. How are you working there and not wearing a mask exactly? Must be an anti vaxxer. There's a lot of homeless people that hang around there also so be careful at night. Best to go during the day.

Dollar king is an inexpensive way to buy many items used in your home. Great place to buy party supplies and wrapping or tissue paper. Some office supplies are available too. Trash bags, zip lock bags, aluminum foil most things you can always use. Stop in and check it out to many things to list.

Dollar king getting reputation for extreme unhappy rude workers and it is correct. I went in to this dollar king. Many crafting items which is nice. Everything elae same as 99 store and cheaper. The workers get in your way and ruin your shopping experience. They are nust unhappy and rude. Youd think theyd know they are lucky to have a job. Hire new workers.

This was a fairly typical dollar King aka the five stars obviously the only thing was I kept wishing they'd combined forces with Burger King and dollar Burger King was a split storm where girls on roller skates on or in roller skates? Anyways brought you burgers for a dollar while you shopped their goods and wares for a dollar.

Not very good experience, I needed to used the restroom and I was told. There is not a restroom. I ASKED what about employees restroom the cashier said, we are not allowed to let clients used our bathroom, it was an emergency for a 72 years old person. Not happy, I went from San Gabriel to thjs place, NEVER AGAIN
