These people seem to like to embarrass and belittle hungry females. After one returned the rice pudding that she had taken... obviously she wasn't in a good place he then grabbed her bag pouring in the street exposing this young females personals including her underwear and tooth brush. How disgusting are human beings these days. By law since she already returned the items they had no right to touch her or her belongings. Excellent deli selection and the gentleman behind the deli counter is always super friendly and full of information on all the food he serves. Better produce than most grocery stores in the area. They also have a freshly prepared sushi bar.

Worst customer service. Was going to purchase a deli item that was marked down with several others . One was not physically marked down. So they wouldn't give me the mark down price. Manager didn't even want to walk over to check himself. Rolled his eyes at me when i suggested he check himself. Another associate did for him. Came back with a pic showing me they were not but Cleary were. Anyway keep your manager special. Throw it out and mark as a loss. Good job

A great place when you're around the area and want to stock up on some soda when it's on sale. I usually don't come to this Ralph location, I go to the one on Devonshire but since I was going to Kohl's this one worked out. The parking for this Ralph is pretty huge since it's in a big plaza so finding parking should be easy. The store looked organize when I went to shop today. I got my sofa pack, ice cream and tri tip. The soda and meat are in the aisle on the far left where the bakery items are at. I found everything I needed and I used the self checkout out to pay for my items.

Its okay to shop here but I've noticed that their prices have gone up on such items as meat and poultry. I'm thinking of switching my shopping to Vallarta or Superior Warehouse.

I have been shopping at this location for a long time, and it’s horrible now. The new deli guy is never around sometimes waiting for 5-10 minutes for help, and it’s possible because he’s always alone, and has no help. They don’t have any cashiers in the morning around 8:00 am always having to wait for them to page someone and whoever James is they page him multiple times and he never comes. The new security guard accused me of stealing water that I had under my cart which I didn’t it was on my receipt. I’m done shopping here after 10 years I will drive further just to get better service from now on.

This location is ridiculous I’m in Sun valley every morning so it’s hard to find another but sheesh there’s an issue every time I come. No bathrooms, early in the morning they want you to self check out just for the items barcode to not work so someone isn’t scanning the supply when it arrives. Try to avoid this Ralph's if you can. 10 out of 10 times I've had a bad experience at this particular Ralph's. It's usually overcrowded here due to the large amount of retail shops at this strip mall. A lot of items tend to be out of stock often. Don't bother asking the employees to look in the back for any back stock cause they give you the runaround about not able to open up any pallets of stock. A lot of the workers here have bad attitudes and act cavalier about it. The deli employees avoid calling your ticket number for as long as they can and they avoid eye contact with you. They almost always shut down the deli 15 minutes early too. This time during checkout they expected me to bag my own groceries as if this store is a Food4Less. I always bring my own bags so I don't have to pay a lousy 10 cents a piece for them and will collect 5 fuel rewards points for each of my bags used. But they never credit your account for them and act upset if you tell them they need to credit your account for them and will give you the excuse that it's too late because they already wrung up your order. Last time I was forced to come to this Ralph's and after ringing up nearly $300 of groceries and arguing with them about not crediting me 13 bags worth (65 points) I made them return all my groceries and then went up the block and around the corner to the Food4Less and bought all the same groceries and wound up spending less than $200. I've ran into a couple employees at my own Ralph's at Van Nuys and Burbank who used to work at this Ralph's and they agreed with me about how bad this Ralph's is and we're glad to transfer out from there.

I was stopped at the exit by Willy the "security guard" who accused me( using the phrase "you people" referring to people who use EBT to shop, Willy made it very clear that he "cannot stand EBT users" and how they're "trash"...)Willy stops me and loudly accuses me of trying to leave the store with items I didn't pay for....he searched my purse, my shopping bags full of items I had reciepts for that I had purchased only seconds before being stopped, blocked from leaving the store and searched, as well as falsly accused of a crime I did not commit.Upon finding that I was not in fact a theif, he offferd no apology, neither did Wendy who also accused me and demanded I provide proof of purchases, which I did.They offered no apology, only becoming more arrogant and discriminatory against us "trashy EBT users" who Willy hates...This is now the 3rd time I've been stopped and accused, harassed and searched 0nly to be found to be an Honest paying customer.How is this okay?Where is the upper management regulating these awful employees and why has is become the norm to be treated this way while just trying to buy food to survive on that I always PAY FOR?I think it's time to consult an attorney cause I heard that type of behavior is illegal

I used to love this location, until today. I had a large cart to check out due to the size of my family, and had to wait for the paycheck to go stock back up. Between the armored guard and cashier, I felt criminalized and labeled as such due to the size of my check out. Had my own bags, and a cooler bag to keep my cold raw meats cold, and they pegged me as a thief. They tagged my cart! even as i had purchased all my items, a hearty bill at that, the alarm went off as the guard was what felt like escorting me out. The cart froze 5 steps from the door and had to unpack my full cart and carry everything through the lot to my car. You just lost a long time customer. Thanks

Very unprofessional in the deli department! I went into the store 3 days before my event to place an order for a tray of chicken for my birthday. The girl that took my order just wrote my info on a piece of cardboard & tapped the receipt. I go in, (day of event) to pick up my order. I was told that my order wasn't made because their machine was not working. I can understand the machines not working but I never got a single call or voicemail letting me know about it! I am sure (worked at a restaurant before) they knew a few hours before or days before the machine wasn't working. The manager or person in charge should have given all of the customers a call that made orders that day. They didn't even attempt to call other stores to make my order nor even compensate me for it. Just gave me the refund and pretended like it didn't matter. My party was starting in less than an hour n I had to now scramble to get something else! This ruin my day and my experience here!

The only Ralph’s I ever go to!!! I love my friends there they treat me so kindly! I am there a lot.. so we tend to see each other quite often! I appreciate the help of the cashier Virginia, she always makes me happy/smile! Thank you Kristina and Kayleen for always being so sweet and pleasant towards me and my family! Timmy in the deli is the best!! So nice and always happy to see us and always a happy soul 😃✅ he loves leads, he said Liverpool is kool though my hubby loves Arsenal so we always go at it about who’s team is better :)It’s just like a family there… thanks Karina the security I appreciate how nice you are and how you treat us so we’ll!

We love this spot only because of the convenience and the manager they have working the morning shift, Bobbi. She's always all smiles when I see her. The experience is always good at this location when it comes to having the store stocked, fresh baked goods and customer service. Always. Everyone who works here is nice. I can see why - Bobbi has always been kind and easy to talk to, too so her subordinates follow suit. This is my go-to spot before and after work so I'm happy that I can stop in, get what I need and get out. The store is kept up, too. Can't complain. Thanks, Bobbi and see you soon!

I have been a loyal customer for years and during this years I have seen workers come and go. There are only few loyal Ralph's workers that still remain working. I will say I appreciate Kent, Wendy, Jerry and Mellissa for providing me with the upmost excellent customers service every time I would shop at Ralph's. It has been as of late that when I shop at Ralph's I been receiving the worst customer service. Now that the store has a new manager (Excella) I have been experiencing bad customer service from her. She closes down the check stands and only opens the self check out. It is a huge inconvenience going to self check out when I have my shopping cart full of groceries. When I want to pay cash Excella puts my money on a gift card and then uses that same gift card to pay for my groceries. I've never seen this been done in past by any worker. Is this something new? She is very rude when I ask for help. The other day I wanted to ask her if by any chance someone turned in some car keys. Excella turns her back on me and says "I'm off the clock" and continues to walk away. The blond security guard was the only one that was kind enough to assist me and she is not even a Ralph's worker. That is the worst customer service. I hope Ralph's managment is reading this and trains Excella on how to provide good customer service. I shop at this store, my money goes to this store and that means at the end of the day I am also paying for good customer service.

I went in and needed some printer paper, but it was on aisle 9, and that aisle is closed from 11pm - 7pm because of theft. Partially understandable but couldn't an employee with keys go get the item, and then lock it back up. But the day Gm instructed the workers no acceptions!Had to go to another ralphs on woodman that didn't have it closed off. Guess I will spend my money at that ralph's instead next timeCorporate need to hear about this because it is an inconvenience that cost me gas and time.

Very rude customer service from a lady that was pushing a big cart into the back near the discounted items. I tapped her on her shoulder. And she got offended and looked at her shoulder as if i bleached her shirt or something. Description latina looking. Was wearing a brown sleeve shirt. Adittude adjustment is called for. Its not my fault your in a bad mood girl.

I love Ralphs first of all so this comment has no reflection on the store itself . I purchased my items at self check out and paid for two bags . This store employee name Vicky gave me such a hard time , she kept asking if I paid for the bags , then wanted to check my receipt . The other customers she offered bags no problem . Aww this was blatantly rude . I know the procedure I’m not here to steal bags Vicky . Awesome ending Martel the general Manager was super nice and attentive to my complaint . Thank you !

Worst Experience ever last night. I am a regular shopper there. The staff knows who I am and they know that I am always respectful and courteous to them. Well I did not receive the same treatment in return last night. I had to go in an emergency run to ralphs for some over the counter relief meds for my wife that started feeling very ill. I had no car and I had no choice but to take a lyft. I arrive at 1258 at the FRONT DOOR only to see that they are closed. I begged to the security officer to let me in due to my situation and all she says is Walgreens is 4 miles away. I explain that I don't have a car and that this is an emergency. She did not care and closed the door. I pleaded to ask with the manager about my situation and he arrived and was literally useless speaking to him.I was not going for bread and cheese. I was going for medication for my wife. I cant help but just feel very angry towards the staff for treating me this way. It is very sad that we live in a world where “sorry we’re closed” is more important than someones well being. I would’ve been in and out in 3 minutes maximum. They weren’t oblivious to the situation. I pleaded for 15 minutes to please let me in due to my situation. I leave this review here to forever remind this store about the time they cared more about closing early than someones well being. You can say well he got aggressive quickly. Anyone would become aggressive in this situation that I hope you never have to go through.

Possibly the worst Ralph’s. Bakery selection terrible. Old dried out breads and pastries. But worst of all. The deli service counter. I waited a very very long time for slices of ‘fresh’ meat and cheese. They were all staked up onto one pile. By the time I got home all the cheese was stuck to each other. Moreover the cheese slices had bits and pieces of older cheese stuck to them. 🤮 please clean up the slices machines. And train your staff for better and safer service!!!

My first choice for when I need to get something in my area. Very large parking area available and always find spots near the doors. The staff at this location is great, always treating people as their personal friends greeting you with a smile and remembering you perhaps not by name but they sure do remember and great you with a smile and cheerful personality. I have never had an experience when I could not find what I was looking for no matter what it was, from food, medicine, refreshments, produce baked good and everything else this location is always very well stocked and many things have the price cut when using your Ralphs club card as well. I very much enjoy this place due to the wonderful staff that is always helpful and professional

I love this Ralphs some members are so nice and it’s super close to my house. I literally go there once or twice a week or I walk there. However, last night I went in to buy milk for my kids which I do all the time. I was able to only find one on the selling floor and I always buy 4 gallons. I asked a worker named Samantha as she was in the egg aisle if she can get someone to get to see if they have more in the back. Samatha didn’t even acknowledge me continued walking away. She is extremely rude and never smiles. I don’t know if she knows she is in a retail world where she needs to assist guests and smile, but whoever hired her made a huge mistake. She is not friendly, not approachable and just looks very upset and sad. Every time I go to that store I hate seeing her face because I can feel her negative energy. She never asked anyone to check for milk and when I got to the register, she was standing there doing nothing which even made me more upset. I had my 3 year old and 1 year old with me and I would appreciate the help, but in her book she didn’t want to help. I truly hope the company takes this note seriously and talks to her because this store is great and as a mother it is very convenient to get in and get out. Thank you for your time and Samanta if you are reading this, smile life is too short and be helpful because that’s part of your job.
