Must visit for any locals or those passing through. Mr. Otto makes the kids feel welcome and free to be kids while they are here. Mainly geared towards children (tons of kids books from infant - teens!) but this place also has many other book options for adults, college students - you name it. If it isn't in store, Mr. Otto will hunt it down from his storage for you and make it happen. Also has other goodies like kids toys, stuffies and more available to purchase. Lots of free books given away also. He is a joy to be around, the kids love him, he tells a great story and is genuinely happy to be there with you. I've known him for about six years now and am so happy to have met him!

I went to high school with Mr. Otto and I am not surprised at all the reviews about his humor and kindness. We were not best friends or anything like that, but I have no memory of seeing anything but a smile on his face and a playful twinkle in his eye. Next time you are in his shop, ask him about his Water Polo days: He always had a lot of fun and entertaining stories about his adventures in the pool and what goes on under the water out of sight of the referees. He's not a braggart, so he probably won't tell you this, but he was our team captain and the league's MVP.

**CHILDREN’S BOOKSTORE**It wasn’t very clear from google that this is in fact a used bookstore meant for children. I came here as an adult looking for adults but was surprised to find it entirely for children. Still, the store was absolutely adorable. The man who worked there was so kind and very helpful, even pulling out books from the back I had asked about (I am a huge fan of cartoon books). The store features a nice selection of books from baby’s board books to older kid chapter books. There are a few vintage toys on the shelves that are for sale as well. I will absolutely return with my niece, a perfect stop when spending time with children.

I went to his shop today wanting a break from my baby boy. I was in a bad mood when I got there. Let me just say this guy is sure to get you smiling. He has a great conversations and stories to tell. Make sure you have some time to spare he is talkative and wonderful. Very nice guy and a great children's bookstore. So long as I live in the area this is where I will buy my son books from.

Mr. Otto's bookstore has a great selection of books for kids and teens! Plan on staying a while when you go there, Mr Otto likes to talk! He's great! Very helpful and friendly.

Mr. Otto is incredibly kind and great to kids, and provides a space that nurtures their literary curiosity and development. I wish there were more bookstores, businesses and business owners like this around.

On the surface you think this store is just for children, but dig deeper...take your time, you will find treasures. Time spent in this bookstore, is well spent. Thank you Mr. Otto, I look forward to library sharing a copy of A Canticle for Leibowitz with you!
