While this is a smaller property, the customer service was great and everything was very clean. Didn't get a chance to enjoy the pool or hot tub but was happy to know it was there. Only downside to that amenity is there's always wet footprints in front of and inside the elevators, which could be a slipping hazard if you're not paying attention. The room was very spacious, which was great. Also like that it's right next to a Dennys, just makes getting food easier. It worked for a quick one night stop while in the area. Bed was very comfortable but a bit high, which took some getting used to. If you're not careful, you can face plant into the wall if you forget how high from the floor you are when you first step down. Quiet area, too, and that's always appreciated.Food & drinks: There's a Dennys, Taco Bell, and Jack N the Box right next to the hotel within walking distance. Across the way is a Starbucks, TOGOS, and a few other dining options. It's perfect for easy and quick choices if you're not trying to be super strict with your diet. Very convenient.

I had a good stay. The receptionist was super helpful and accommodated us after a super long drive. Pros - spacious rooms, comfortable bed, great breakfast, and easy access to the laundry room. Cons - bathroom door in weird spot and won’t stay open, furniture outdated. Also PET owners warning - they only allow dogs and birds even though the website doesn’t specify restrictions (no cats). They need to update that on the IHG app if they are going to place restrictions because it just says pets allowed…

Didn’t realize this hotel is right by the freeway . If your room is odd number , you will hear the freeway noise all night long .Then the shower has 2 ( why would you need 2) soap disk that is located at the level of your elbow as you are lathering yourself and you will keep hitting your elbow. No complimentary water bottle like most holiday inn express .Breakfast is average . Not bad

Great free breakfast the whole family enjoyed it. My son and husband enjoyed the pool. Room was clean. Enough space for the whole family. Good location. Close to fast food and a gas station. Easy access to Hwy 99. They are pet friendly so we can bring our dog maybe the next time we’re in the area. Love that they don’t use those small plastic bottles for toiletries anymore. More eco-friendly. Front desk was helpful. I needed to store a cake and it won’t fit the mini fridge in the room and they were happy to store it until the next morning. Staff was pleasant and even the lady I spoke with over the phone before we checked in was helpful. Price wasn’t outrageous. Considering this was in Stockton, we felt safe and secure in our surroundings. Definitely recommend!Rooms: Rooms were clean and spacious.Safety: Close to Hwy 99 and we felt safe even being in Stockton.Walkability: Close to fastfood and a gas stationFood & drinks: There is a Dennys, Jack in the Box and Taco bell

This hotel, like many other Holiday Inns PURPOSELY do not allow you to use any HDMI devices (Roku, Firestick, gaming console, etc) on any of their TVs in their rooms, despite the fact the TVs have HDMI ports built in to them. There are "hospitality" TVs specifically designed to do this, and this hotel uses them. There is NO reason for this other than to force people into pay per view. I brought my Roku with me while on a long business trip, but I am not able to watch any of my stuff. What a stupid decision by these hotels. Don't stay here if you can help it.

I've been impressed how some hotels can really go above and beyond to provide a great experience in hospitality. The small breakfast offering that is served in the morning was so clean ,and well cared for. There was a good variety of food. If something ran out ,it was immediately replaced. We watched a soccer game in the hotel lobby, on a Saturday night. We got loud at the goal scored by Messi. The woman at the check in counter were very tolerant. They came to help us turn up the t.v. volume ,brought us plates, and napkins for pizza we ordered. This hotel has some real gems for employees. It's amazing how good staff can take a hotel that may not be the best , to a place that really shines. The rooms were clean . We probably weren't the best guests. Thankyou for the experience. Sometimes people need to share the positives of experiences.

Enjoyed a nice weekend with family. The pool was really nice. Rooms are really nice. The beds are high off the floor making it hard for children to climb into bed. However, the beds and pillows are very comfortable. The breakfast was nice too. The only negative was there were extra charges (beyond the incidental hold) on my account the desk couldn't explain. They did take care of those charges but the hotel didn't honor the price quoted on the reservation. They charged more but didn't tell us until we checked out. Make sure you check your receipt before you leave the hotel. The billing process was very confusing and messed up. No one knew how to answer my questions confidently.

My husband and I stayed here about a week ago and traveled from Oregon for a funeral. Our stay was one night but everything was so nice! We both really enjoyed staying at this hotel! We had a room that was facing the freeway so we did hear some traffic but I slept very well! The beds were very comfortable! I also forgot my hair care back in Oregon and luckily they had some there that wasn’t like your usual cheap hotel stuff! In the AM as we were getting our belongings ready and moving them to the car, the housekeeper was super nice and spoke with me. She helped me get back into my room after I couldn’t figure out how with my key! Super nice staff at check in! She was super sweet and very helpful! Definitely will be staying again!!

Stayed here for 4 weeks while working near by. I enjoyed my time there. Breakfast was great every morning and was hosted by Liz who is a true gem. Being that far away from home it was great to be welcomed with a warm smile every morning from her. The hotel lobby was always immaculate and smelled clean. Rooms were serviced and cleaned every day. Super comfy beds. I'd stay here again in a heartbeat.

Rooms were good, breakfast was excellent. Good hot meals and a pancake machine that’s pretty cool when you see it. Definitely I’ll stay there again.

I absolutely loved my stay. The staff was generous, the rooms were comfy and the area felt safe for a Stockton hotel. The only thing was the mini fridge seemed like a mini of a mini fridge so for someone staying there for a week it's a bit hard to pack your lunch for the next day due to the limited space. Otherwise there's complimentary breakfast from 6:00-9:00 Mon through Sun. Wifi is free, and parking is free. There's room service upon request and plenty of food places to stop at nearby.

THIS IS THE BEST HOLIDAY INN EVER. The pool was charming and good, but it also includes a warm jacuzzi! It also has a smart pancake maker and I had a good breakfast! The receptionist was nice, and all additional room accessories were amazing! I recommend this hotel.

This place is well worth whatever extra cost it might be above cheaper hotels you can find in downtown Stockton. This location is more secluded, quiet (didn’t even hear the highway), safe inside & out, easy to access, and has services nearby (gas, Starbucks, Denny’s, etc). The rooms were exceptionally clean, the grounds are fenced, the staff was super friendly and eager to help us with anything we needed, the beds were very comfortable, and the rooms are spacious. We didn’t try the pool or fitness center, but they looked lovely. Even during this Covid craziness, there was a generous breakfast with substantive options offered, on par with Hilton. Other cheaper hotels didn’t disclose that they had canceled breakfast, which was a major issue for us (as well as false advertising). Our experience on this trip flipped my loyalty to Holiday Inn over Wyndham.

I can't recommend this hotel enough! The staff was extremely nice! We needed to check in a day early and they made sure we was taken care of. The breakfast was hot and they had so many options! The staff made sure my husband had enough to eat every morning. We felt safe throughout our stay..We didn't have one single problem the entire week we stayed!

My father absolutely loved this hotel. I set him up here during my recent wedding weekend. He said the breakfast was "wonderful!" Parking in the front is not ample but there's plenty of parking in tha back. This hotel is in a good location and is adjacent to the 99 fwy and has a Dennys restaurant and Chevron gas station in the same parking lot.

It is really easy to get to this hotel, one exit off the highway! But the location is a little sketchy, causing one to look over one's shoulders continuously. The hotel's amenities are just okay, decent sized rooms with comfortable beds, limited cable and breakfast in the morning. I wasn't a fan of the breakfast (orange juice tasted off and bread was definitely stale). The hotel staff is very courteous and friendly. If you need to be close to the Metro airport then it might be worth a stay!
