It sucks when you call and ask to see if they have a product to avoid the trip, put on hold for about 2 minutes and being told that they do have it. Make the trip only to be informed that they havent carry that product for a while. Bad Customer service.

This place is pretty straight forward. Customer service was good; the guy at the register was nice and pretty cool. Just a smaller store, under a bigger chain, serving the area. You'll definitely find all the essentials and things you need. Though conveniently located for me, at the time, the reason I'm giving this place 4 stars is because of their prices. Sorry, but you just can't beat Walmart prices. Puppy pads are killer here.

Amazing and very knowledgeable dog trainer Reid here that helped tame my rebellious dog Benny. He answered all my questions and spent his time with my dogs. Patient, kind, smart, and calm. The employees there are super helpful with any and all questions about pets from potty training to food to bathing to behavioral issues. I wish the store was open later than 7pm but i love that it's close to home and the freeway.

So we have 2 cute dogs that are family. They deserve good healthy food, so this is where I get their chicken and beef dog treats along with their Science Diet dry and wet food. In addition, we have our dogs on a medical insurance plan. YES your pet needs medical insurance! In addition, we got some training for our dogs. They have trainers!! Find out how by calling in or better yet, drop by one of their several facilities throughout San Diego County!

Love this store was greeted by Stephanie and Dina, who were nothing but amazing. All the questions I had were answered, they helped me with all my worries I had of being a new pet parent. My puppy absolutely loved them, the love they have for animals was definitely apparent. Dina went over petcos vital care premier program and the free bag program that they have to offer which saved me a lot of money. She helped me set up my app every step of the way, even showed me how to access my points for future visits, THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU. These two were the best customer service i have ever had, their knowledge of the product the app/ website had me feeling like I was set up for success with my new puppy. Thank you again you two for all that you did for me

I enjoy coming here to buy my kitties’ essentials. For a small store, they pack s lot of good brands and essentials. They also offer online pickup order. When I came in for my their vaccinations, everyone was so nice and caring for them.

I replied to all Vetco text messages, completed the online health record survey, and arrived to the Vetco visit 10 minutes early. I still had to wait 50 minutes to learn Vetco was out of the dewormer medication and vaccination serum for my cat's appointment. They knew I was coming for dewormer and for a rabies vaccine 2 weeks before my appointment, but could not be bothered with calling me to let me know they were out of both. This is the second time the Lemon Grove Vetco has been out of vaccinations for an appointment and screwed me over and I will never make an appointment with them ever again because they are incompetent and inconsiderate.

This is based on my visit to the self serve dog wash.They didn't offer any "add on" specialty shampoos or conditioners like oatmeal or medicated. I was told I could purchase some off the shelf in the retail area.There was so much dirt outside the front door that I had to carry my just bathed dog to my car so she didn't get muddy feet.The store could use a good cleaning inside and out.

What I like about this storm is that they will let you in to shop even if there's only 30 seconds left so that you can get your dog food or cat food. Most other ones are already locked up and refusing customers customers but not these people may have been they have been really cool about me coming so late and I appreciate that cause I never remember until it seems to be 10 minutes until closing. Also they have a clearance section that is well organized I've been to some petcos which are the same sort of and sort of and man they I've got a hot mess in their sto reverse's this store is kept quite tidy As for the staff itself in general I've always had a pretty good experience -1 time when a guy didn't know about anything as far as dog food goes but everybody can't meet winner.

Took my pup to get her first set of shots. Staff seems very knowledgeable about their work but I've only been her once. Staff wad kind and I was in and out. Vaccines were reasonable price.
