The store looked quite outdated compared to other Safeway stores. Parking was really dark. No self checkout but the wait was not too long for my three items. Checkout was friendly

I used to like this location until yesterday. I got cereals and crackers and the total was $76+. Found out I was charged this unknown item for $22+ the cashier just refunded cash with no receipt. The Safeway card wasn't processed and I was charged ridiculous prices and when I tried to explain to customer service, she kept saying I needed to use my Safeway to get sale prices. I never had to use the app before- that's why I have a Safeway card to scan the sale price! she reluctantly re-scanned some items and charged me more $33+, but I never received the Refund to my account. I'm out $100 from my account now with no refund.!!!

Worst Safeway ever! Misty was super sweet and nice but when I had to come back she wasn’t there and two employees who refused to give me their names were extremely rude. Worst experience I’ve ever had and I had my toddler with me and they made my experience even worst and had the nerve to have a smart mouth. Never shopping at Safeway anymore. All rude and smart mouth for what? A SAFEWAY JOB! Wanted to charge me for something I didn’t get to use and return exactly the way I picked it up like the last customer left.

Service was much faster this visit.It's a decent smaller store, selection was ok. Maybe I came at a bad time, the service was really slow.

Worst Safeway around. Never mind it’s has a small selection. No cashiers, slow workers, slow and barely any lines open. management is nowhere to be found.

Probably first time in a Safeway as I’m from the east coast. Seems like sort of the typical Midwest Kroger. Although I heard Safeway and Publix are commercially related, they do not share the same feel.

I liked it, but they didn't have the butcher for meat. Also, I just thought it was a good store, but I liked the other one where my Aunt lives because it has more stuff too.

Gotta say was a bit shocked with this Safeway. On the smaller side when it comes to Safeway and I was specifically looking for a nice bottle of wine for a dinner I was invited to. The wine selection was very small and they had $20 bottles of wine locked up, so you needed assistance to get them. The wine that was on the shelves was the $10 standard, so not much. The store also seemed like it needed some TLC and updating. I still enjoy going to Safeway so this experience won't stop me from going just now I know not to go here for wine.

I live right next door and come here 3+ times a week….If you wanna stand in line for 20 mins then be treated like you threw the cashiers lollipo in the dirt, this is the place for you! 7 lanes. Never seen 3 open at once. Slow, rude, go somewhere else.

Negatives it's old in need of a makeover..if you're in a hurry avoid at all costs..no self checkout..some checkers are checked out/ indifferent or not happy. Positives..close to home..always can find parking..usually not crowded for the above reasons.

Been going to this Safeway my whole life.The staff is generally pleasant. I have two concerns that have come up over the past few years though.1. The core staff often seems to be overworked. It would be nice to see them get some more help.2. The parking lot is terrible at night. Trees overgrown around the lighting cause huge dark spots around some of the vehicles. Customer safety seems to not be important to the owners of the property.With safeway being the largest business there, utilizing most of this parking, putting some pressure on the property owners to maintain the lot would be a good decision.

I haven’t been to Safeway ever since I moved out of SF Bay Area , but it’s definitely great service with a huge variety of grocery merchandise. Cashier are very friendly and welcoming..

The staff/employees are helpful and polite and they are great about knowing idem locations or availability and also offering to check in the backroom overstock for me on the last 2 visits ...Friendly with the customer both in&outside side of the store.Check out is a dream ... This Safeway is still operated like an old fashioned neighborhood market with modern convenience.The only drawback which is minor is the smaller selection due to limited space.So I'm giving you five stars just holding back one star on the board so when one thinks I'm a nutter who sees things through Rose colored glasses ... They're cup will not hold water. 5 🌟's

This was a little smaller compared to the nearest safeway but way bigger than other grocery stores nearby like smart & final and lucky. I went to this one as it is opened till midnight. Also don’t forget to use safeway digital coupons if you are frugal and have a bit more time.

I like this little Safeway. I went there to buy flowers to take to the cemetery. Renee in the florist department was friendly and very helpful which she helped pick out the flowers that would work well outdoors especially with the weather in Colma Ca. She even offered to put it together and make it nice for my uncle and added a touch of Christmas feel. I really appreciated her help. You can't find great customer service these days and Renee made my day because I had limited mobility and couldn't stand long but I really wanted nice flowers for my uncle's grave so she said to have a seat and she'll take care of it. Happy Holidays Renee and know you are very much appreciated.

I'll never understand why grocery stores have 20 lanes and only two lines open, especially on a Saturday afternoon. And no self checkout options either? Nice. Add in a dash of rude cashier, bake at 400 for an hour, and you'll end up with a place I'll never visit again

This Safeway never has enough checkers. Every time I come to this store the checkout line goes clear to the back of the store. There are many extra employees walking around stocking shelves, or just hanging out, chatting near the back, why not make some of them checkers when it's busy? No one will be upset if the shelves are less than full, but everyone gets upset waiting 20 minutes in line.

I've been going to the Safeway for over 30 years and have never seen more than 2 lanes open. They have the staff for ot but they choose not to have them in the cashier lane. this is in a pretty densely populated urban area so the lines in the store can take 20 minutes around lunch time. They could get more business and customers taken care of if they had more cashiers so they're losing money doing it this way but I guess they don't care because they've got a captive group of people who need their store.

This Safeway feels more compact compared to others in the area, like in Westborough or Millbrae, but it's still a Safeway nonetheless. It would be nice if they had self-checkout terminals since it always seems like there's a long line.

Sadly I was turned away at 11:55 pm thurs evening needed a few things after air travel trip on way home. Said they were closed . at 11:55pm on my cell phone. I showed it to door attendant, and a few customers were still in store not even checking out yetis . I counted 5 shoppers checked out. I said I only had a few things and still refused. I am not shopping at this store in my neighborhood any more Safeway!

Safeway always have people with character. The workers are always cool and tries their best to conversate. Here is the tea, the other day I was ordering some chicken from the hot food and a middle age woman had the audacity to stand infront of me (3 inches away) and tell me to excuse her. Um....lady, I'm in the middle of ordering???!Anyways, I bought a pack of white claws and drink them. No not all of it. Just one. But in wanted it to seem more dramatic.I miss playing monopoly. 😀

Safeway, the mainstay of groceries offers other services from bus tokens, money orders, and very good prices on meat, selection of magazines, produce, bakery, deli, dairy, and neighborhood style service. You will like this store and the offerings. Why three stars? Average is average. Five stars are earned not given! Enjoy.

This Safeway is conveniently located from where I live. However, this is smaller than the Safeway you see in other places. Also, there is no pharmacy, and the selection of items is somewhat limited.

Limited selection. Small store. Empty shelves. Worst part is there are never enough checkout lines open and the line is always backed up. Checkers never call for backup. This Safeway is garbage. I have never had worse experiences at Safeway then when I'm at this one.
