Plenty of parking, easy access to building, excellent variety of food for cats, dogs, and birds. They also have a pretty decent variety of tropical fish and I believe they also sell, sea water fish. Sea water is also available for sale. Customer service is good, however, there is room for improvement. Crew is polite and very friendly. I highly recommend it.

I love their specials on cat food it's half the cost then the grocery stores. There fully stocked with quality items for your best companions who love us unconditionally. If you need a break and I would like to stretch the dollar and the prices at Pet Club are unbeatable, and with friendly and helpful customer service.

Great selection and excellent prices. Stuff for dogs, cats, birds, fish, and more. No membership needed. Recommend by my local vet. I'm glad I checked it out. Staff seems very well informed. Good alternative to the chain stores.

Great pet food/supply store that has the feel of a warehouse. Lots of great high-end brands and also budget brands all with great competitive prices. Large selection of various kibbles, raw diets, and meaty treats and chews. Friendly staff and always easy to park here. Shop local!

I'm a cat owner and I'm pleased with selection of cat food. They offer a variety of cat food and unbeatable sale prices. I love the Arm & Hammer Pine pellet litter know need to add bake & soda because it doesn't smell. The staff is always helpful and friendly.

I bought a ton of cat food last week for the feral kittens I take care of. They didn't like about half of it. I went back with the receipt yesterday and asked if I could exchange it. They were so incredibly accommodating! Reasonably priced.

I come to Pet Club because it is convenient. Usually their prices are competitive. I mostly come here to buy fish food for my tropical fish. The place for most of the time seems organized. When you walk into the store the first thing you are going to smell is the rat cages 🤢 and the worst part is that the registers are close to this area so you can’t scape the smell. The smell is not so bad on the aquarium section. They have a decent variety of tropical fish at competitive prices.

Easy handicap access. Usually not too busy before noon. Not too fancy, but very efficient. Prices are fair. And they do offer to help you out to your car if needed. Got to watch the parking lot though. Some pretty deep potholes coming in the back side.

Name brand super/ultra premium pet food at great prices. Great selection of products and staff are friendly but could be a bit more knowledgeable about products/pet care. I would definitely shop here for my dogs needs but get advice in regards to taking care of them elsewhere.

THEY ARE OPEN. It was tough waiting for them to re-open after relocating but they are worth it.No frills, warehouse style store. When you have a lot of mouths to feed who needs fancy marketing? It's their great prices and selection that keep me coming back year after year!!! You can spoil your babies even more.

They have a tremendous selection of all things related to pets. The staff is very helpful. Prices are excellent. Unfortunately they may have to move, as the city of South San Francisco wants to build on their site. They likely will stay in the area.

pet club is my "goto" store for my dog. although I do like the San Mateo location better. the whole layout is better there. since my dog has gotten older, her needs are more specialized and I find that I can't find those products here. I'm still a loyal customer and they have great prices.

Great and service, they have what I need for my dog, blue buffalo senior dog food. Helps manage his weight and he garbles it down super fast. They have their own parking lot and are super easy to get too off of El Camino

Great choices for everything you can think of with the best prices around hands down! Gotta compare to prices when some stores are asking for 15 cent a cricket, you buy a bunch and of course the person helping you counts every single cricket they throw in the bag, so than by the time you get home a few are already dead. So this place has better prices and are generous with an extra cricket just Incase . Plus they have multiple size cat litter box liners!! Also at a great price!! Customer service is great as well! They have a wide variety of fish also for the low! What would make them the best is of they donated their dog food instead of tossing it in the garbage like PetSmart does all the time! But that's an entire different subject at the moment. Shop at petclub it's the best in the west!

They have a really good selection of products for all kinds of pets, like dogs, cats, birds, fish, reptiles, hamsters, mice, rats, gerbils, and more.

This is my headquarters for all pet supplies. I have two dogs and one kitty cat. For the same products sold at chain stores, prices are lower. The store is huge, well stocked, clean and organized even though dogs are welcome. They offer vaccines on weekends too. You may want to call if you're looking for specialty items as they sell out.

It had what I needed at great prices, was local, and the employees were always pleasant and helpful. And I could always make new friends with fellow shoppers (2-legged & 4-legged!). I wish the City of SSF hadn't purchased land for other uses, but hopefully the store will reopen nearby. Until then, I'll probably shop at San Mateo store.

Great selection of pet food for a variety of pets (ie dry, canned, frozen and live). Also large selection of housings and carries and stands. Now accepting credit cards for added flexibility and no membership required. Plenty of parking on and off premises.

As big box stores continue to disappear, this one hangs on, and I'm glad. Great to actually SEE the item you're buying, take it out of its packaging, feel the weight and heft of it. They have anything and everything your dog (and other animals) might need.

The woman in the fish department was so friendly, knowledgeable, and patient! Went in with my 5 year old and she helped us get everything we needed. Really enjoyed our fish buying experience.

Always shop for my gorgeous smart cockatiel like her mellet, stress seeds for feather moulting. Her fruit & vitamin goods, a toy. I also bought a tent-to go. She is so cute! she knows now its time to go somewhere outside and walks in. They also have finches, love birds, 2 more cockatiels, lots of fishes to look at. Price are fair. Staff are helpful. Love this place!

Pet club had one good service clerk...who was doing everyone's jobs. After clocking out for lunch, he was helping a senior woman load her large pet food into her trunk. The prices seem fair with the exception of sundry items with $39,$49, and more for a furmigator (a manual cat hair trimmer and similar to a razor comb for humans. Other clerks and staff don't seem motivated to help or to ask customers. Warehouse seem well kept but not like a store.

It is a nice place to shop for your pet. Staffs are friendly. The only thing that could be improve would be cleanliness. I have seem dust all cover on the merchandise or all over my hand if I touch them.

The cheapest place to buy pet supplies. Cans of cat food that are usually $1.19—$1.49 are 79 cents here. I also get some chicken supplies here. Worth the trip from SF, prices are so good.

I always have good experiences at PetClub in SSF. Good prices and great selection. I never go to the competition any more, but I do just live down the road from them, and that's a major reason why.UPDATE: Dec 2017 they now take credit cards and (gasp!) Apple Pay. I bought my cat tree from them. It is already assembled. That's a plus over buying it from Amazon (could have saved lots if I did) but after looking at the reviews, I decided it would be better to buy from a trusted place and avoid the 'glue smell' and 'missing parts' people complained about.

Not bird friendly. While I did spend $150 on bird supplies they lack basics and what they have outside of food, like cages and such are of the very worst quality that I would be wary of letting my baby bird use it as a home.
