I've been going here for YEARS and continued to shop here because I wanted to support local business and I get stuck in the the buy 12 get 1 free Origin deal. It's very expensive cat food and because I got one bag of senior cat food, now they won't let my wife get our usual bag of 6 fish for free? WHAT A WAY TO REWARD CUSTOMER LOYALTY! I will never shop there again, sorry guys, I'm gonna save time and money with Amazon or Chewy.EDIT FOR RESPONSE: Hello and thank you for responding. I understand that it might be an outside promotion, but as a business owner, you might have chosen in that moment to eat the cost of the difference in bags and kept me as a customer. I never would have broke my habit but I save so much money and time now I should have been using the pet food websites long ago. If your business runs on such thin margins you can't compete or price OR customer service you truly have to reevaluate what you are doing.

It”s always a trip to Doggie wonderland when I shop there with my fur buddy. The store has great energy, relaxing atmosphere —with a beautiful fish pond and chill out music. They have nice ambient lighting and a place to chill and enjoy the vibe —- vs. the impersonal glare of huge chain stores that never have a big variety or anything to please your human senses. . They have a diverse selection of everything you can possibly want and need for your pet this is high quality , from food to toys and grooming supplies. . I’m always happy to support the small local business people who do their best to provide the neighborhood with cool stuff and a nice friendly vibe.

Urban PET should be ashamed on how the treatment of the Koi fish are being neglected. These fish are literally burning from the levels of ammonia in the pond and their excuses that the caretaker is on a vacation in Africa, so there's nothing they can do they've had plenty of offers to come in and help for free and they refuse to accept it, so in the meantime, these are slowly dying like the urban Pet and Silverlake have the fish died. This is unacceptable.

Found my cats carrier bag here for a good price. Carrier bags can get very expensive! This one is good quality. Has breathable mesh. It’s great for going on walks with & it’s very light weight.

My preferred store for the requirements of my pets is this one. Here I can find the pet food that I occasionally had a hard time finding. If you choose, they could also groom your animals. Additionally, if you're seeking for a new pet. They also have a large selection of animals for sale. Additionally, the space was really large. highly advisable

Pretty sad! Walked in with no greeting, paid and wasn't asked if I wanted a receipt. I usually go to Eagle Rock location and out of all employees only 3 have great customer service. Most of young employees seem there for a paycheck, maybe it's time to higher those with experience? Hopefully they don't head down same path as Pet Food Express, Petco, etc. only care about numbers instead of amazing customer service!

I went to this store but knowing what to expect. It was nice inside. Typical things and prices were as I thought it would be. But, I went to pay and the last asked me if I was a member and when I said no she didn't even bother to ask me if I wanted to be one. She didn't even seem nice about it. Which is not good for customer service. When people are nice it makes me want to spend my money

I have recently moved into the neighborhood. I was hoping to find a local shop to order my dog's food with since its not available at all retailers. This place is a disappointment. I came in with my dog. We were the only ones there and I spent about 10 minutes walking around the store. I really don't care if I get greeted or not (I wasn't), but some kind of acknowledgement would have sufficed. If the store is EMPTY you would think the cashier would have at least asked me if I was looking for anything in particular. Their variety is fair but with higher than average prices. All in all I will never be returning and I will definitely not recommend. If I want to be ignored I can order on Chewy.

Tierney is amazing!!!!Every time I come into the store she is always working (like every time) and she always has a smile on her face. My dogs love coming into the store as there entire staff is super friendly and the music in the background is great. The food options are great when it comes to dry/wet dog food and most importantly, the treats always makes my dogs day when I visit solo and come home with a bag full of goodies.If your in S. Pasadena and need a refill for you pet, go here!

A bit pricey but it isnt your typical pet store... the girl working there wasnt very friendly. She seemed bothered and just going through the motions.Tge store is nice though and there's a meditation water area with koi fish. Pretty nice.

Good variety of small pet supplies. Not a big box retailer so stock and range of products and sizes can be limited in comparison. Prices often not cheap but convenient South Pasadena location by Rite Aid and free parking. Friendly staff too, without always trying to upsell you.

Everyone who works here is extremely friendly so it's been my favorite place to come to get good quality frozen raw rabbit meat for my cat. They have a nice policy of offering regular clients continual discounts on purchases throughout the year. And they have a very wide variety of more consciously produced commercial pet food and supplements as well. My cat just can't eat any of the commercial preparations without having skin reactions, it's her autoimmune stuff. So I'm really jazzed that Urban Pet consistently carries good quality boneless raw hypoallergenic meat in convenient little one pound packages that I can cook up. My Missy loves my cooking and I love that her skin and coat are gorgeous!

First thing you'll notice is the store itself is actually very beautiful, opens and nicely organized their assortment of things is pretty okay. Not huge but nice enough. For the size of the store, which isn't big to begin with, it's very nice for a quick emergency run to the pet store.

this is an excellent pet store in south pasadena. very helpful, knowledgeable staff. lots of great stuff at completely reasonable prices. an ideal mom n' pop kind of alternative to those big corporate puppymill-type places.

Dedicated work staff and friendly too. We have gone there when the lights are out in the complex but they are still open. Our bunny was thrilled. They are good for special orders too.
