Went with my daughter and husband and came from the heavenly line since the wait at the resort was 2 hours! They helped us right away and we were able to get all the equipment we needed in a reasonable time frame. The staff are super friendly and accommodating as well. Will definitely be coming again.

I’m an intermediate skier and I’ve rented skis from many places before. I will have to say that Winter wonderland was the worst. While at heavenly, I noticed that my skis constantly kept bumping into each other. Then I started feeling like my left boot and ski were wobbly, it felt like it was going to disconnect at any moment. I asked the ski staff at heavenly if they could take a look at my skis and after inspecting them, they told me that a part of the binding was very loose and could not be fixed with tools and needed to be replaced right away. They said it would be unsafe to continue using them since they were not secure and to take them back to the rental shop immediately. Heavenly was very busy that day and it took me very long to get back to the ski shop, but once I got there I explained everything that happened and asked for a refund. The staff constantly kept telling me that nothing was wrong with the skis and that they would not issue me a refund. I asked to speak with the manager and a female staff member told me she was the manager with a very angry attitude. They continued to dismiss my claims and said that the staff member in heavenly is wrong, that I should have brought the skis back sooner and that there is nothing they can do for me. I’ve never had issues like this before at any ski shop and I felt very disrespected. I will not be going back here.

We had a good experience. Pickup was quick. The gear was clean and worked great. Drop off was easy. They are located very close to the parking area which made it convenient. Would recommend.

Great rental experience, we had a family of four needing gear including pants and jackets. Fitting was quick and the team was super accommodating when we needed to switch one person from snowboard to ski. Reasonable prices and the equipment was in great condition. Will definitely come back in the future

GO HERE IF YOU PLAN ON RENTING FOR HEAVENLY!!! My buddy needed to rent a snowboard and Heavenly wanted to charge $80 with a 2 hour wait but these guys are one minute down the road and took not even 5 mins to get him a board for only 40 bucks. I even forgot my goggles that day and the dude in the store let me borrow a pair! Unreal service and super nice staff. Support this shop!

This is the place to go in Tahoe. The employees here are wonderful and it’s the only ski shop in town that hasn’t left a bad taste in my mouth. They are beyond helpful and generous here with pricing and services. Andrew and Lucas have both done wonders for me and are genuine people focused on giving everyone the best possible experience on the slopes. Last time I came in getting new boots from good will, Andrew helped me to adjust my bindings but realized that they were missing the heels. Although it was bad news, he took the time to help me find the exact model on eBay after he called around for me to see if there were any local. There weren’t, so he hooked me up with a pair of boots quick and got me on the slopes! Adjusted my pair twice and waxed it. This is definitely the place to go as I said before, skiers that care about skiers. Good luck with anywhere else in town!

We rented ski & snowboard equipment from Winter Wonderland Ski Shop last weekend, and it was a great experience. Even though the shop was very busy, everyone working there was friendly and attentive, and got us ready and out to the slopes as quickly as possible. The equipment was in great shape. The location is super convenient to the Heavenly California Lodge lifts (~5 minute drive).

I had to stop by the shop because I forgot my ski boots at home. They staff was so friendly and helped me rent boots for a good price. Much cheaper than the heavenly rental spot! Lucas went above and beyond and noticed my skis had gashes and offered to fix them up for me. It totally made my day, as I was not expecting so much great customer service at this small ski shop. Will use them again in the future!

Great ski shop to grab some cheap rentals. The gear is in decent condition and good for a couple days skiing or riding. Way better deal and service than renting at Heavenly's cal lodge.Not really the right place to grab performance gear or to demo. Plenty of other places around that demo latest models like Mountain West at the Y.

Great ski shop. It's only 5 minutes from Heavenly CA lodge. Much easier to get your skis here than at the resort. I recommend making an online reservation. They pull the equipment the night before and have it ready for you when you come in the morning. Great ski package for beginners too.
