Really cute local Boba Tea spot. I personally got the Fire Bear Coffee, which I had no idea what it was fully before I got it.. other than the fact that coffee anything is usually good. But... wow! It was a delicious 4 shot espresso with Boba and torched cream cheese on top. With some drizzle/spice. It was so delicious.Great location, great service, great drink, and a cute store. There was even a little section with Legos you could put on the wall and make your own art. I will definitely be back the next time I get out to Tahoe!

Decent boba place given that it is at Lake Tahoe. The drink is slightly on the sweet side, so do adjust the sugar level.Super chill and cozy seating environment around the store.Clean and tidy.

Great interior design. The indoor environment is comfortable and clean. There is a small room full of lego to play with. Very creative milk tea shop for adult who bring kids. It is also good for people who wants to relax with friends.

I live in the Bay Area in Fremont where there are as many milk tea spots as there are Starbucks, and this spot is right up there with other good tea houses. The space is very clean. The staff very friendly and helpful. The selection of drinks is good. The downside is the price of the drinks are more expensive than any other place I’ve been. But since there aren’t many other boba soots up here in Tahoe, it’s worth the visit.

Cute place, fun soft serve(4 types of ice cream cones), delish hot and cold drinks(on the sweet side), clean bathrooms, decent temperature indoors, AND A LEGO CORNER TO ENTERTAIN KIDS! Fabulous place!

We have had one good experience and one awkward. Just a bit ago, I requested drinks without caffeine for my young kids but the drinks suggested/prepared for us had green tea. When we took them back to be replaced by what we had during our first visit, the manager made the young cashier pay for the new drinks (ie. pay for the mistake). I’ve been in food industry for a long time and this seems very inappropriate. We spoke to the manager but I don’t believe the employee will be reimbursed. Employees on minimum wage, selling expensive novelty drinks, should not be put in this position.

The Tea I ordered was way toooooo watered down ( The Jasmine Milk Tea With Brown Sugar Boba) . It was As if I was drinking colored water. The bobas inside were just ok.I might give it a second try and order something different. The service was excellent and the place was clean

I want to give only one star to the owner or manager of this place, the customer service was very unpleasant on her part and the unfair scolding of the person who took our order humiliated her in front of us for a mistake in the drink, it was The loss of a drink made due to a misunderstanding was very notable, I had to return minutes later to buy that drink made by mistake so that the cashier would not have another bad time with that bad person. I recommend the drinks but this type of people with that bad attitude should not serve...

Pretty standard milk tea. I’ve gotten the hojicha latte and the signature milk tea. The hojicha was a standout for me. Drinks are on the sweeter side, I normally get 50% in the bay area but 25% is a good benchmark for this place. Boba is lightly sweet, soft, and chewy; not as good as Bay Area but does the job. Given the expectations, I think Tahoe Bear Tea House did a great job.

My experience was deeply disappointing, leaving me both frustrated and saddened. The most glaring issue was the excessive wait time. Despite a visibly long queue, there were only two staff members managing everything. This not only slowed down the service but also seemed unfair to the employees, who were clearly overwhelmed. When I finally received my order, the quality of the boba was far from what I expected. The boba pearls themselves were subpar – neither chewy nor flavorful. This significantly detracted from the overall enjoyment of the drink. Additionally, the sweetness level was unreasonably high. It felt as though no attention was paid to balancing the flavors, resulting in a drink that was overwhelmingly sweet to the point of being unpalatable.I understand that managing a boba store can be challenging, but the lack of staff and the poor quality of the product are inexcusable. It's disheartening to see a store not living up to basic standards of service and quality. As a boba enthusiast, I was looking forward to a delightful experience but was met with a series of disappointments. Regrettably, I can only rate this experience as 1 star.

we came on Christmas Eve to get some drinks. we ordered the banana milk tea and the creme brulee chocolate drink, both with boba.they were packed so there was quite a wait. when we got our drinks it wasn't honestly that good. we could barely taste the tea in the banana milk tea, it tasted more like banana milk. the brulee drink didn't taste like it had any sort of milk or creamer in it, very watered down. the boba wasn't sweet, but to be fair they had run out and made a new batch to instantly serve us so there wasn't time for the sugar to soak in.they had a Lego wall area where kids can come and decorate it so that was nice, but the drinks were a bit expensive. we live in the south Bay area so we are quite spoiled with tea shops, this one disappointed us a lot in terms of flavor and quality.

Since the day we landed in Tahoe we found out that there's a boba place and we have to visit there. Things got busy but today we went to this place. It was crowded as any other boba place in the Bay area. I was ordering their pink guava fruit tea but unfortunately they ran out of their green tea. The server was very very nice, he was even ready to make it with black tea. But I changed my mind and decided to go with their milk tea so that it's easy for everyone. I went with their Hokkaido tea and my daughter selected the signature boba tea.A very crowded place with a lego room for everyone to play while you're waiting for your tea. They also have a YouTube video that I enjoyed watching Korean cake baking. Overall the experience was great, the server kept apologizing for not having the green tea. I definitely recommend this place.

Super cute boba cafe we did not expect to find in Tahoe! The service and staff were super welcoming upon entering the store. The interior was also super cute, with a very unique Lego wall area where you could create your own pixelated character or writing! The only thing I disliked was the Ube latte drink I ordered. Definitely tasted watered down and powdery, the worst Ube I’ve had compared to other boba cafes. But I tried my friend’s drinks and they ordered matcha green tea latte, coffee, and houjicha. They all tasted great so I’d say I was just unlucky and would not order the ube latte again.

One of the best boba drinks I’ve ever had! We got the Mango Smoothtea and Matcha Smoothtea with boba and it was so good! Not too sweet at all, a ton of boba places have really overly sweet drinks but not at this place. 25% is great. Also signatures pretty good but not as good as the smoothies

Came here twice. The first was a DoorDash pickup which was super quick and easy.It was so tasty that we had to come back a second time. There’s a nice seating area and a LEGO wall which was cool. Staff was super friendly and prices are fair for boba.

Lovely boba shop in Tahoe. Location is wonderful right next to the marina and close to some fast food restaurants. Staff is very friendly and welcoming. Good amount of choices for your boba needs.

Got a pretty standard hot Taro milk tea and Ube Tea and it was okay. Nothing special. Cute place to hangout with a Lego wall to keep you entertained. Not worth the price 😒

This is the best boba shop period. If you are coming from Nevada or California. The staff are not only friendly but go out of their way to help you find something you like on the menu (especially if you are unfamiliar with the concept of boba). If you want boba and to support this amazing group of individuals try the Tahoe Bear special and enjoy every sip, I know I did!

Came here to grab a couple of streamers and hot chocolates to warm up our 3 year old twins and the hubby. The staff were unable to make anything milk-based as they said the steamer was currently broken... No problem. Instead we ordered the kids non-caffinated strawberry&raspberry tea since the staff said it was sweet. The tea they gave us we had told them were for THREE YEAR OLDS was so hot that it burned MY mouth, and let me tell you I like my drinks H-O-T. So glad I had tried it first! Not only was it way too hot, it was not sweet whatsoever. Instead of asking them why they were so negligent, we just asked them if we could please get a second cup with some cold water to cool it off. We were told they could only give us sink water in the cups we already had. Seriously. I was getting visibly annoyed at this point, but I politely asked for some ice which they miraculously gave us in a second cup. The peach oolong tea they gave my hubby was also not sweet whatsoever despite them raving about it being the sweetest one on their menu... Not sure if the entire staff lost their ability to taste anything from COVID or their common sense that drinks explicitly stated were for 3 year olds should always be TEPID?!Disappointed with the maintenance issues and surprisingly pricing, definitely shocked by their negligence in almost scalding our kids and annoyed with their inaccurate recommendations. There was a unique Lego room for kids that the twins did enjoy and the place was clean and nicely decorated.Leaving here happy to patron Free Bird Chai just across the parking lot instead.

The staff and the overall interior store experience was great. Fun design and had a Lego section and games for patrons to keep busy. It's just their drinks were less than desirable though. I was hopeful when I read that their standard of sweetness is 25%, because I'm not big on super sweet drinks. I always like my tea lightly sweet with a strong tea profile. I didn't get any of that with the peach tea that I ordered. Instead, it was teeth chattering sweet and very watered down tea flavor. It tasted like straight syrup. I asked if they could help adjust it, and they were more than accommodating, which I appreciated. But unfortunately, even after their attempt, it was still too sweet. I didn't want to bother them again since they were busy. My partner's Jasmine milk tea suffered the same problems, bland and not strong enough tea profile. It was really watered down.I'm not sure what tea leaves they use or how they steep their teas, but it definitely needs some looking into for a better tea experience in my opinion.

Surprisingly this was a legit boba spot in Lake Tahoe! The interior is super cute with kawaii decor of bears and nice ambiance. It was quite crowded when I went Sunday afternoon, but the wait wasn't so bad. I ordered at front a fruity green tea with popping boba (think it was pink guava) the first time. It was so good I came back a second time and ordered lychee green tea with lychee popping boba. So yummy! The first time the drink was a bit to sweet, but the second time around it wasn't so bad. I got 25% sweetness and less ice. Love the popping boba flavor that pairs well with the green tea. It definitely tastes like the fruit. They also had a bunch of other drinks (milk teas, latte, hot drinks, etc). And guess what... they also had soft serve ice cream in Asian flavors! And... you can pick the flavor of the cone as well! My husband tried the Thai ice cream with coconut. Two flavors in one and it was sooooo goood. Loved the combination of those two.Service was OK. Both times the workers seem impatient and didn't smile. The first time one worker gave me an ugly look for some reason. I ended not tipping due to that. I understand they're busy but no need to give out negative vibes. There's a lego wall to keep you occupy and some seating across the boba shop. It's a big space for boba shop. Despite the service I'd come back here again to grab their boba drinks. It's hard not to crave them during the summer!
