Amazing service! Don’t go anywhere else for your ski rentals in South Lake Tahoe. As two experienced skiers from NZ who were fussy about what gear we wanted - we felt so looked after and totally cared for. I would reccomend going in during the day before your ski day so you have some time to check out what skis you would like, they have a great selection.Special shout out to the service from Dave and Ren, really world class service.Thank you!!!!

Fast and efficient service from some very hilarious and cheerful staff. Employee who fitted and rang us up gave us some delightful recommendations for stuff on and off the hill. Super reasonable prices for really decent equipment. Would def go back the next time.

Visiting from Atlanta, I went here after I turned in my ski rentals at Heavenly because I was looking for something with much better quality rentals at a more affordable price. As soon as my girlfriend and I walked in we were greeted with a very friendly and knowledgeable staff. They helped us with fitting and the boots were much better fitting and comfortable than where we previously rented. Was planning on skiing for 4 days but our trip got cut short because of a blizzard rolling through. We turned in our rentals early and they gave us complimentary days for rentals when we return! Will definitely be making a trip back out in the future and stop by Rock House again! Thank you Rock House for such an awesome experience!

I genuinely saved hundreds of dollars over a couple of days coming here as opposed to the shop I used last time. On top of the great prices, everyone in this place truly went above and beyond to be helpful and kind. The entire rental process was made convenient and enjoyable by the staff. Dave and Anna were particularly helpful - it’s clear that Dave is truly an expert and knows exactly what he’s talking about. I will never return to a Vail-owned rental shop again after coming here. Support family owned businesses full of great people!

The staff here is super friendly and welcoming; so much so they made us feel like family! Nick and Anna went above and beyond to outfit us with some great gear, and at low cost.We always like to give our business to locally owned shops and they didn’t disappoint.Will definitely rent from Rock House next time we’re in Tahoe.(And they have a disco ball!)

We really loved the friendly and helpful staff at this local ski rental shop. They had a great selection of quality skis and boots at very reasonable prices. While we didn’t need them, we were amazed that they even rent jackets and ski pants for people who are new to the sport. Our best experience ever renting skis, and we go once or twice a year to various resorts across the country.

I can't say enough nice things about this place. Excellent price, even beat the prices in Sunnyvale. Super helpful staff - the night before the staff recommended to come in the morning since there was a possibly of storm closing resorts. We were first time skiiers and the staff helped fit the skiis and accessories. The return process was super quick and easy as well.Overall, great experience and highly recommend this place!

When we first went there I think the owner was there and people were pretty nice. We went back to buy a helmet and they were pretty busy but the sales lady was super rude. We had to return our ski rental a day early and they would not give us a credit for the lost day. We have rented from many many places and they always tell us you can return early without penalty. So be careful when renting from here

Rented a snowboard for my first time snowboarding! Rockhouse employees were quick to answer any question I had and helped out immensely, especially Anna! Not to mention my friends and I saved tons of money for the prices they have here! 10/10 recommend!

Sara the manager and all her staff treated us like VIPs. Very friendly and always tried to help us. There was an issue with the charges and it was resolved immediately. If you are going to rent skys you need to come to this place. I highly recommend it. Even my 10-year-old son noticed and said: those people are very kind. 5 stars is not fair. 10 would be better. Thank you Sarah … will be back next year.!!!!!

Great place to rent! Came in on MLK weekend with a bachelorette party. All of the employees were running around like crazy, and they were able to get us in and out in a very reasonable amount of time given how busy they were. The owner even took a few extra moments with us to suggest cool restaurants and activities around town! I really appreciated that! I will definitely rent here again!

Extremely happy with our experience at Rock House! I had a group of 13 guys who needed rentals and the staff were incredibly efficient at getting everyone fitted and out the door with their gear. The owners were also kind enough to offer a 10% discount due to the size of our group! Their service, prices and general attitude cannot be beat. I would recommend them any day over on-the-mountain rental shops!

Great service! Nico was patient with us and let us try on a couple sizes of boots for a good fit, even though it was busy. Quality of our rentals was great; unmarred flex boards, clean MIPS helmets, quick ratchet boots, all the things we love and want.

After reading all the favorable reviews, I decided to make a reservation to rent skis at Rock House for a Friday afternoon around 3:00pm. Upon my arrival, I received a friendly greeting from a guy and a girl who worked there. I explained to them that was was formerly an intermediate skier, but I had not done it in years. They set me up with nice boots and performance skis with bindings set to release a bit easier for my anticipated wipeouts. I was in and out in maybe 15-minutes. The equipment was nice and performed well. The return process was even easier.No big wait, good equipment, great pricing. I definitely recommend Rock House for your rental needs!

Fantastic staff, a great experience, and great prices. It looks small but very open inside and seamlessly sets you up for what you need. We had five of us walk in and were out in 20 minutes. The best part is the customer service. Everyone was helpful, fun, and conversational. Highly recommend it versus renting from the resorts. Five stars.

Was in town for some demo skis for the year and came across this awesome little shop. They welcome you and and give top notch service helping you find exactly what you need. Staff gave great insight on what to expect from the demos. Would highly recommend, thank you Rock House!

Found my left ski doesn’t fit my shoe on the day I was at the resort. Had to pay 20$ to readjust it on-site. However the lady reimbursed me without hesitation. Nice service! But just double check if everything fits before you leave for the ski resort.
