I stopped by for a quick lunch after a day out on the lake. The technology was very frustrating during this visit. My App wasn’t letting me place a dine-in order so I went to the kiosk. When I tried placing an order there I was getting an error. Now I usually put tech issues on me as user error, but in this case it was an issue.Now this might not have anything to do with this location’s rating. I did end up placing an order with the cashier which was good, but she was a little unsure how to take a payment. Because I used an App deal she made me use the credit card on file, but wasn’t sure if it worked or not. I took my table number and beverage cup and took a seat.The food was not prepared correctly. Big Mac’s are the signature item for McDonald’s so when you don’t make it correctly it’s easy to notice. There was WAY too much sauce and the meat was not really hot; lukewarm. They also brought out another beverage which was okay by me, but don’t they always give a beverage cup to every guest? The best part of McDonald’s is the fries and they were good.Overall an average experience. They might have been having an off day so I will eat McDonald’s again.

Yeah the prices sucks, but the experience was priceless. THIS MCDs got A FREAKING COUCH!This was a life changing situation. I'd pay an extra 5 bucks if the couch had a built in massager.

This place is in a ski resort town in South Lake Tahoe, so the food prices seem to be higher than normal. However, it has a great location and convenient hours. I do have a major complaint about the McDonald's on Highway 50 in Fallon, NV, however. The menu panels above the counter were not turned on, and the cashier said that the only way we could view what was available was to use the kiosk, which we did not want to do. We left without buying anything. We will not be forced to order by using a machine when there is a cashier present. This is very bad business!

Update 2/14: fries were piping hot! Andrea is a great manager! Keep up great work!So this locations charges $4.49 for an order of medium-sized fries. How much would it cost to get the fries actually hot? I mean I think I'd pay $5.99. It'd be a great option since the last several times the fries have been barely warm. Definitely check your bag if you'd like hot food before walking out the door.

Cold fries & cold rock hard chicken. Burgers were dry & chewy. Wasn't even busy. God forbid any worker acknowledge your existence. Only time you see someone is when they come to drop your food on the counter & yell a number. Dirty tables & seats making the whole place uncomfortable for an eating establishment. With all the businesses closing down in South Lake Tahoe, how is THIS place open, & why aren't they trying to keep it cleaner, friendlier, & serve freshly cooked food to keep up business!?

I didn’t really read the reviews I just saw the number and I was thinking to myself walking up to it how in the world could McDonald’s have almost 3 stars.Quite simply, it’s just doesn’t do things well. I was greeted with a sign that said, there were no fountain drinks available, but at least they apologize. After that, I entered into a room of people waiting on their food, some impatiently, and I went to order from the kiosk , all the kiosk markers were missing so I had to enter my own number and figure it out.I overheard someone wanting to order the traditional way, and the worker said they’ll be right with them and then ghosted them until they went to a kiosk.I ordered six McNuggets and waited 20 minutes to receive my order. The times are long, the service is poor, and the building is a bit unclean.The one main staff person did apologize for the wait. I think they’re just understaffed sadly.

Shout out to Bobby for trying to keep the lobby clean!!!! We walked in and the place looked like a disaster and smelled bad, only Bobby was trying to clean all the dirty tables and sweep the disgusting floor, the place literally looked like a bomb went off, huge turnoff, anyways as we stood waiting for our order, the place was not really busy, Bobby's co worker approached him and berated him for not helping up front. No one in our party thought it was even really busy in the lobby. We all felt for Bobby and just wanted to give him a shout out for a job well done!!! We see you Bobby!!! Give the guy a raise!!! He definitely deserves it!!! 1/3/2024 around 2:30

Typical McDonald’s in a tourist area. Pretty busy during lunch time. I placed an order for a few items but they were rung up in favor to McDonald’s.For example, ordering a Big Mac meal and a medium coffee was rung up as Big Mac meal coffee drink upgrade and then an additional large drink. It costs about a dollar more and not a big deal, but it would be better simply taking the food order as given.Regardless, the food was great like a normal McDonald’s and the prices were typical.I would probably do a mobile order next time to ensure accuracy.

It's McDonald's. If you're trying to get food in the winter before hitting the slopes. Don't expect to get your food fast. Everyone probably already has the same idea. There is no drive thru, so expect to wait around a bit

I ordered from doordash and did not receive 2 items 6piece McNugget and a triple cheese burger w/ no pickle when I received it I noticed the missing items and that it was soooo cold and my fires were over cooked I had to re heat it all of the food that I’ve received

I visited the South Lake Tahoe Location on New Years Day.It was beyond busy, people everywhere.I don't quite get the " kiosk" concept since it it really doesn't help speeding up the process, but it creates more challenges for the employees.One large order of fries and a medium milk shake - $11.00.

Open until 11:00 PM. Most restaurants in South Lake Tahoe is closed @ 9:00 PM.Their prepared iced tea, has a note of 1:20 PM as expiration time. I don’t like soda, so this was minus for me.Overall a nice one for quick food.

Curbside pickup (empty most of the time)is great, just order using their app, drive up to your allocated number then wait for them to come out with your order. We got served faster than those going inside to place their orders. We got everything that we ordered.

For not having a drive thru; this place is not unlike an underachieving small market baseball club. Bring your own mirror for the bathroom. Optional, but also bring something to •carve• your proof of visit on the bathroom hand dryer. Wouldn’t recommend the mobile order feature via their app; because they’ll list the location as closed even if you’re able to walk inside. Same goes for the indoor walk up order ahead kiosks. ((Sell the store and start over)).

Upon walking in, there was a line waiting to order from the kiosk, so I decided to order from the app. I used the deliver to table option. After a long wait, they never delivered to my table, but instead called out my number, but yet another couple behind us had their order delivered to their table. Not implying anytthing, but they were of the privilaged. Our food looked as if they were literally thrown together. I don't think I would visit this place again.

It's McDonald's. Way more expensive than it should be for the low quality food. It also seems to take longer than it used to. They seemed to be understaffed.
