Helene (or Alexis? Her name tag was halfway blocked) is the only pharmacist assistant I had ever argued with in my life. So unprofessional, impatient and unbelievably rude. My son need an emergency refill for one day and the pharmacist wasn’t familiar with this type of prescription so when I got there and checked in, Helene told me it’s not ready and I had to wait. While I was shopping around, she told me take a seat; she would call me when it’s ready. 15-20 mins passed by and new coming customers started queuing. When I stood up and tried to ask her, she asked me stand in the line again! After another 10 mins waiting, I was in front of the line again. I confronted her why I needed to wait in the line the 2nd time after she already asked me to take a seat and she would call me once it’s ready. She bluntly denied she said it and insisted that she requested me waiting in the line couple times. So what practice is that a customer needs go back to the end of the line immediately after been told the med wasn’t ready? So if the pill needs longer preparing time, I have to keep moving back and forth in the line? Either this CVS didn’t provide sufficient training for its employees or Helene is a bad apple in the store.

I worked all night 11 PM to 7 AM. Had to run and CVS on my way home. This is the second time Suzanne the associate helped me and she’s always so pleasant and kind. I get a little manic when it comes to my coupons. She’s very patient and thorough.

I have nothing bad to say about the shop, we were driving through and it was a pleasant visit. Now we are a few miles away and I opened two things I bought they were both EMPTY and added up to 24 $.CVS how could I get in contact with you if it would be less i wouldn’t be texting, but this really annoys me. I still have the receipt and the empty boxes.

I gave a 4 Star rating on the pricing of an item Vitamin B complex that you sell for $40, (vitamin B complex) and on Amazon the equivalent sized item sells for $10.The Extreme discrepancy in the two prices can only be perceived as a highly over inflated priced item. I cannot reconcile these extreme price comparisons. This is the only low rating I gave on the survey, as you can see, and all other ratings we're on the 9 and 10 level.

Kindest pharmacist I’ve ever met. The pharmacy was really busy but the pharmacist, Kevin and the tech were handling many people and still doing whatever they could do give personalized attention. Kevin had kind words and a thoughtful manner. Most enjoyable jab of metal in a long time.

CVS Pharmacy is a constant disappointment. I went in on Saturday to collect a prescription after receiving a message it was ready, the rude attendant (who REPEATEDLY cut me off when I was speaking) said she wouldn't provide it because I had not had the medication before and that it was against the law to dispense it. She said I would have to wait until the pharmacist returned from lunch. I clarified that it was not oral medication and then some random person in the back office hollered out in a rude tone that it was against California regulations. Who hollers out from a back office at a customer like they are a stray farm animal who wandered from a paddock? Either come and speak to me like I'm a paying customer (oh wait) or mind your business. I then come back on the Monday and a different attendant dispenses it and asks if I want to see the pharmacist, I asked if I had to and she says 'no, we just have to offer'. Naturally I declined. So the rude women on Saturday was just another person with a name badge putting herself on a power trip. When you treat customers like they are garbage, do not expect to get treated well in return. I hate this pharmacy and have more rude experiences than positive.

I guess there are worse places to lose your only car keys on a July 4th night. Right? Maybe. We saw people puking, drunk people not puking yet, spilt drinks, yelling, almost fights, etc while waiting for AAA to show up, which chi they never did. I also got a 64GB memory card here, toothpaste, and deodorant.

Wow -- Kevin the Pharmacist really went beyond the call of duty. In the process, he won me over as a customer. My normal pharmacy (Walgreens) failed to fill my prescription before going on vacation and couldn't be reached after 6+ hours on the phone. Kevin waited on the phone for hours to get through to take care of my prescription. Amazing customer service. Wish I could give it more than 5 stars.

I stopped in here to grab a couple things but this was during the time they where getting hit with the unusual amounts of snow so they where low on stock (Jan2023). The staff was apologetic, helpful and kept trying to suggest other items instead. Thanks!

Rudest pharmacy in Tahoe; worse than the CVS at the Y ...list of reasons is too long for a google review.Store employee was pleasant. He greeted us the first time he saw us & greeted us at the register. Great upbeat attitude & genuinely a cool person. Wasn't fake or forcing a smile so to speak.

The employees are not welcoming at all. They make you feel like you're just any other person. I was standing in line to pay and the cashier (girl) iust looked at me up and down and closed her register and the employees look miserable like they hate their life. I didn't even want to go back in after my sister came for some water. They have a very bad vibe.I asked my sister to pay because I felt really uncomfortable with the way the employees acted. Ni customer service at all. Didn't welcome us and didn't say thank you or any of the basic customer service skills that a cashier is supposed to have. I'm not suprised that all their shelves are full. They would have more customers if they would atleast be nicer.

This place delivers excellent customer care service. I was visiting Tahoe as a tourist and bought a small refrigerator magnet from this place. Unfortunately, I left it at the counter and realized this only after reaching my home. I called them to check if I left any magnet at their shop and the lady who took the call (her name was Caroline...apologies for any incorrect spelling) was very nice and even offered to mail it back to me. She said that she will check with the manager and if he does not agree to mail it then she will do it herself. I was very touched by her kind gesture.

I don't usually leave reviews, but this was so frustrating. I was on vacation and knew I would be out of my birth control so I had it filled at this location. They filled for 1 month and I paid $30. When I got home and tried to fill for the next month, supposedly this pharmacy said they filled for 3 months and $30 is the 3 month rate.... after trying to call them and being on hold for 20 mins two different days I finally talked to someone who said yes they made a mistake and they would talk to the pharmacist and call me back.. I never received a call back. I called the next day and waited on hold for 36mins, when the tech finally told me that they would not be able release script for my home pharmacy to fill but they would mail me (could not guarantee priority mail) my missing 2 months of medication... good thing there are alternative options to bc, but I hope this doesn't happen to other pts with more important medications! I'm a nurse and am usually pretty relaxed with medical stuff since I'm in the field, but geez the phone hold times were just ridiculous. Hopefully I get my scripts in the mail!

Worse experience ever! We were there on vacation and needed an important medication I left at home. Our doctor called it in early in the morning on Monday. First they said the phones were down and they didn't have the medication, so we should try the larger CVS. We drove all the way therr, and they didn't have it and said they would tell the Bijou location to order it. The next day we went again to Bijou and they said deliveries don't come in until noon (no one called to explain this). So we went gain in the afternoon and the medication didn't arrive. They said they'll have it the next day (again no one called). Meanwhile I'm suffering without my medication for 3 days now. The next day someone finally calls in the afternoon to say the manufacturer doesn't have that medication in California! I couldn't believe they could be so careless and inefficient with such an important matter. Why couldn't they say that up front so we wouldn't have wasted 3 days on this? Horrible service. If I had the time and money, I would sue.

I do not usually leave reviews, but couldn’t resist with the HORRIBLE customer service. I am on vacation and it was not comforting the way I was treated. Helene was not friendly AT ALL. She even snapped at other customers who were asking for help or asking where something was in the store. My prescription was called in on Saturday and when I arrived on Sunday to pick it up, I was told come back in an hour. I came back after an hour, and was rudely told to sit down because things come up and it was not ready. I hope I never have to come back.

Use another store if you require customer service. I went to pick up a photo print and the clerk looked at me like I pooped on his shoes. He walked over to the photo bin, exasperatedly said it's not there, and waited for me to leave.I went back later to another clerk who was more willing to help find my photos.

After a not pleasant experience at another local pharmacy we called this place. They were super busy but very helpful on the phone took the time to Verify stock and let us know where in the store too. Staff was very pleasant and helpful

If you're in need of passport photos, go elsewhere. Staff were unhelpful and incompetent. If not for the labor shortage, they would probably have been replaced by now

We were in Lake Tahoe visiting from Indiana and my husband had some testing before going on that trip. Our Doctor said she could call in the medication to a close CVS if available. We stayed at Harra's so she called the CVS right next to the Montblanc but she was told they did not have a pharmacy but the one on the California side did. So I googled the information and send it to her. In the mean time my husband and I left towards the pharmacy (about 1.4 miles). It probably took us 13 to 15 minutes to get there and when we did the medication was ready. We were really impressed with the attention and service. I am not a big fan of our CVS back in Indiana on West Southport Rd. They are way too rude and you always wait forever and if you tell them you wait they make a face. That is why we were absolutely amazed with this CVS on Bijou shopping Plaza. Thank you so much, because of your fast service and attention my husband got to take his medication right away instead of waiting until we went back home.

Bought Gerber baby formula here for our grandson, started feeding it to him and he puked. Fed it to him several more times not knowing the formula was the issue! He puked each time after drinking it. Finally put 2 and 2 together and found that the formula we bought here was 3.5 months expired! Horrible experience! The clerks obviously aren't doing their job in checking expiration dates like the manager said they're supposed to do! Check your expiration dates!

They left me a voicemail saying that my prescription would be available for pickup during regular business hours. Turns out they close the pharmacy early on Saturdays. Poor service to deliberately mislead customers.

hello everyone at cvs south lake tahoe..my new wife and myself would like to say a special thanks to carolyn as she was super with helping us put together wedding photo album at your store...we had just gotten married oct 6 2014 and wanted to get photos arranged etc etc and carolyn was just the best..even though at times she had to stop and assist other customers she still did a super job....thanks again..tim and linda carnival
