Ice cream folded with your choice of ingredients. The chocolate ice cream w chocolate chip, brownies & chocolate sauce is.... you know it, a chocolate lover's delight. Ice cream & all folding ingredients are high quality. This chian has withstood the test of time because they don't stint on quality. And the lines out the door (which are efficiently processed) prove it. Nearly $11 for a standard waffle cone, but we were willing.

After a day on the slopes, we smelled the waffle cones and decided to grab a cone. Ronnie was very engaging with the customers that were in line when it was their turn to be served. We appreciated the great ice cream cone but really appreciated the personal touch and conversation he had with us while scooping and mixing. Many people would have been frustrated by the line and no end in sight. Ronnie chose to make each person feel seen. Great hire.

Usually, I don't write bad comments, but this time, it was so bad. We stood in line for 30 minutes to get an ice cream, line was till the door even farther, and only one worker, I felt bad for the guy. The other family that was with us left the line cause it got to 40 minutes wait for them. The manager in this place needs to pay attention to this, it was Saturday and only one worker 😞??? THIS PLACE DEFINITELY NEEDS NEW MANAGEMENT 😞P.S. Great ice cream, 5 STARS FOR ICE CREAM ❤️

I waited like 30 minutes in line and then when I got up to choose what flavors and toppings I would like I asked for a large cup of cookie dough ice cream. She then gives it to the employee next to her and put it in the cup. she didn't say would you like any toppings with it and the whole thing that cold Stone does is they put all the toppings in stuff you want inside the ice cream. So because she already made it she had to put three of the toppings I wanted on top of the ice cream. Then the person working at the register didn't even know the own sizes of the cup somehow and took like 3 to 5 minutes to actually ring us up. When I got home with my ice cream it was already melting on the sides and got everywhere on the elevator. So I had to eat my ice cream unenjoyable in my sink. Thanks to all the teenagers that work at that cold stone 😒

Ice cream is ice cream, but I always wait so long time. Staff no talk to much and you can make ice cream fast. Price is very high service no so much, I maybe give review recommendation if you move faster. Thank you Good Day!

This is always one of our family’s favorite spots to hit while in South Lake Tahoe. They offer individual scoops, or their option to have the ice cream flavor of your choice mixed in with different candy, nuts, or toppings. They also have great specialty sundaes.Sure, the prices are high, the lines are long, and service sometimes seems bothered or stressed. But the ice cream is great. It’s worth the wait and the price!

Indulgence at its best! :D My husband and I shared a Chocolate Lava Meltdown, which is a brownie topped with a ton of vanilla ice cream (+we added mint ice cream too), whipped cream, choc sauce and shaved chocolate, and it has about one million calories. :) Taste was great, for me the brownie was too sweet but the texture was brilliant. The girl was also very kind and helpful. Once in a while it is ok to indulge. :D

$40 for 3 small ice creams. Holy moly. Never again. The kid working there was sweet enough. He worked quickly and someone cross contaminated the food. Good thing no one had a peanut allergy. Oh wait, yes we do. I don't love paying a lot to get sick

This cold stone will go above and beyond. They were not only willing to accommodate a tree nut allergy, but after they explained the process and I told them it was too much work they insisted it wasn’t a problem. The customer service was top notch!

This is located in Heavenly Village and it is an overpriced, underdelivered tourist trap.The ice cream was just ok. But it was the service and experience that truly was bothersome. There were 5 workers + a manager/supervisor behind the counter. Only 1 girl was handling the customers (both scooping and ringing up). The line had about 12 people. The others were either talking to the manager or just walking around - it was weird. So many places are greatly understaffed and patience from customers is needed; however, this was overstaffed with only 1 person actually doing the work. As we were getting rung up, the manager told the girl helping us to give the guy behind us (with 6 people in his party) some free mix-ins and the "friends discount". Nice. :-( It cost us $22 for 2 of their smallest cups.

honestly one of the worst experiences we've had. the 4 workers in line that were making our ice cream HATED their jobs. we are always so nice & ask please & say thank you, not one of then had a smile on their face or even said a word to us. they would put the ice creams in the counter after they were done & not say what kind of ice creams they were. since we didn't know what kind they were, we would grab one thinking it was ours. THEN they would finally talk but scold me & say "that's not yours". like WHAT?! such extremely rude customer service, we love cold stone but these workers here at the "heavenly" village aren't very heavenly

The ice cream was excellent! The customer service, not so much. The girl working the register with the curly hair that’s colored needs to be off the register. Clearly she was frustrated when a customer was having trouble with the credit card machine. Even when I ordered she want too friendly. Time to move her to the back.

My sister and I took our boys to this location for some ice cream last week. The "shift leader" Chris was rude from the minute we walked in until the time we left. He was rushing us to select our orders, making rude comments and was throwing things around with a negative attitude. My sister spoke with the store manager who at first just made excuses for him but then ended up apologizing for the bad experience and offered to give us free ice cream the next day. I would never take my kids there again, not even for free ice cream. You can be professional and keep the line moving at the same time. There is absolutely NO excuse for this behavior!I also want to mention that the 2 young ladies and young man working this same shift were very nice and and had great customer service skills.

I came in at 5 PM excited to eat cold stone because honestly cold stone is great, however I was not greeted or acknowledged by anyone. There was a guy at the register who saw me come in. I then waited in front of the ice cream and nothing happened. A couple came in and the guy in the register immediately greeted them and then staff came out. They proceeded to asking them what they wanted and I spoke up and said I had been here first. One of the girls scooped up my ice cream and slammed it into the counter. At this point I was furious and confused. I paid and left. Either the staff are in their own bubble, or they lack customer service. The customer service really ruined the experience.

I've ordered from this Cold Stone via DoorDash multiple times and I've never once been disappointed. They do a great job mixing up the different toppings into the ice cream. Thanks to the employees here for doing such an amazing job while putting up with the insane influx of tourists that ravage the area yearly.

Ordered hot chocolate… Received 2 cold chocolates? Then 20 minutes of awaiting turns out their machine was broken. Left with overpriced tea (they did not price adjust) and no customer service to speak of. Manager was rude and out of line - simply said “BYE” when we questioned the price for x2 teas that we got instead of hot chocolate. Weird vibes. Avoid this tourist trap.
