Ice cream is my favorite dessert for the holidays , it is the ideal holiday treat! The sea salt caramel here is the best I have ever had and it reminded me of the traditional Bengali sweet, nolen gurer sandesh. Spooned into pretty cups , this dessert served here brought me childlike joy.

Amazing gelato 🍨 having been to Italy myself many times before, this is as close to the real deal as it gets! Their chocolate, cherry and pistachio ice cream is to DIE for!! I kid you not, that one is AMAZING! I cannot wait to go back for more! 😋

Good gelato and nice staff. I would love to sit outside at the seating area but the smell of trash from the dumpster was very strong. Ended up leaving. It's hard to have delicious gelato with the smell of trash.

Staff offering services is the rudest I've seen and they didn't hold back in making rude comments or expressions when customers didn't pay tip (for 15 seconds of scooping and feels entitled for Tip even after their rude attitude) . When in line, I noticed them yelling at a child asking him to hold his position in line instead of looking at flavors.

Loved this place! My sisters and I each got double scoops and all got the sea salt caramel as one of the flavors, it was our favorite. Cherry on top of the whole experience was the scooper, Morio! What a genuinely nice person with a great sense of humor. Will definitely come back next time we visit!

Very yummy gelato. A bit pricey, and you have to pay parking unless you park across the street. We went after 6pm, though, and only had to pay $2 for an hour. The guy working seemed very friendly and the patio was nice to sit at. Best perk is how close it is to the lake! We were able to just walk down and sit on the benches on the beach afterwards to watch the sunset. That alone made the price of the gelato + parking so worth it.

3 star for strawberry gelato. I guess the staff are overwhelmed and not kind at all. You sell sweet stuff, at least put a fake smile on your face, I don't care if you're not welcome, but people give you business. At the very least, say thanks, guys. It's not hard to say welcome or thanks. Oreo gelato is not good either.

This place has really good gelato. I went today and am staying at a nearby condo within a 7 minute walk of the place. The flavors are amazing and I ate 4 scoops of their ice cream. Ice cream is great but the service wasn’t the best. We were ordering and one of the two girls in the front was giving us a little attitude while we were paying. There was also a trash can nearby that is very strong and hard to enjoy your food. I recommend the gelato but definitely don’t stay and don’t expect amazing service.

Loved gelato. We had several people & got to try a bunch of flavors. Everything is good. Only thing that brought down the experience was the smell on the back patio seating area.

Walk in, close your eyes, and taste anything in that shop. I guarantee you’ll find something you like. Me and my husband especially liked sharing the raspberry lemonade. We enjoyed the pistachio and maple butter pecan gelato too.

The owners, workers, product and location are all on absolute point. I’ve been here many times and won’t consider any other dessert in the area.Enjoy the best Gelato in the entire region on the beach… and thank me later

Skip the spumoni flavor (cherry, pistachio & chocolate). The cherry tasted like sour patch kids, ruined the whole taste.Hazelnut chocolate crunch was yum though.

Fantastic ice cream, rich flavors and a really nice guy helping. He suggested vanilla for dog. Nice patio. Only downside is it's surrounded by private and membership only parking or pay to park. Other than feeling like an intruder when walking around i highly recommend the gelato.

they have variants of flavor. the gelato is so smooth, and the gentleman at the store is super friendly and helpful. he offered us several samples of the flavor and suggested some of his favorite combo. too bad i didn't have a chance to ask what his name is!

We have always had a good customer service experience going to this place for Gelato every time we visited Lake Tahoe. However, my last visit on 10/20/2020 @2: 06 PM was perhaps the WORSE customer service I have experienced in a very long time. We stayed at Marriott's Timber Lodge and took my daughters, ages 2 and 3 to the small beach right-across and hyped them up for ice-cream after the beach. As we entered the store the girl who was the only person working greeted us in a very loud and rude manner. While we were trying to place our orders for Gelato she was giving us an attitude, and rudely asked "is there anything you would like to order?" So, we immediately placed our orders with her and asked for an extra cup for my youngest daughter (2-year-old), again her reaction was even worse this time "ughhhhhhhhh, slammed the cup, here you go" and picked up her phone and open her social media. After we finished our gelato, I went back into the store to share my experience with her, and that we have always enjoyed coming here for gelato. However, this time we felt unwelcome. Ohhhh Geeee, what a mistake on my part for trying to be kind. She asked, "what did I do wrong?" as I tried to explain, her attitude got even WORSE and asked me "GET OUT, GET OUT, GET OUT NOW" so, I left the store immediately, while I was holding my 2-year-old daughter.

Wow! Just wow! We had the raspberry and cookies and cream. Both were fantastic! The service was friendly, and the price wasn’t too bad (for the location). Will visit again, maybe tomorrow :)

So definitely expensive starting at $4 for a small. They should have family options or deals, but don'tat this time. I went in to order for 6 and there was a family of 6 right behind me plus a party of 4 before me. They have pretty good Gelato, but not the best I've had. The shops parking situation is dire with paid parking, and a couple free options if you are quick. There is a gas station, diamond resorts, and even some employee parking for the shops right by the location lr if you eat at Rive Grill they have free valet parking.

Good flavors, but I still prefer the Italian gelato. They do not put cream in theirs, while this place is doing it, which feels like cheating. Do you feel good after drinking a glass of milk cream? I don't thinks so.

Absolutely the best gelato possible! The man at the counter is worth the trip alone (regret not getting his name, super cool cat!). He was intensely knowledgeable about gelato flavor combinations and gave us half dozen samples to try. Ask to sample a Mounds bar and you think you're actually eating one. The gelato guy is awesome!
