Alpine Carpet One is the BEST!!! They have the most professional, creative, personable and helpful staff as well as superior product. I’m thrilled with a recent flooring job in my three bathrooms as well as a major carpet repair. They did everything in the most timely way.Check out the picture of the hallway. My daughter’s dog panicked and literally tore up a large section. Alpine Carpet One used the carpet from the master closet to repair it and installed a very close piece in the closet. Seriously thwarted my having to do entire house!South Lake Tahoe has many businesses that are really slammed it seems, but these people completely accommodate and are genuinely kind. No need to look anywhere else!!

Alpine Carpet is a delight to work with! We walked in, were immediately helped by Jen. We picked the carpet we wanted, and someone came out to our house to measure the square footage the next day. Alpine Carpet One has met or exceeded all expectations every time we've used them. Our most recent experience was hardwood flooring through most of the rooms in our home. Sales staff worked closely with us to show all the various products, the up and downsides of each, so we could select the best product for our needs. The kept us informed of product delivery and installation dates and met each as promised. Their installation crew was the best. They carefully selected and placed each board to get the most eye appealing grain and color variation. They were courteous and cleaned up each day. We are so very pleased with our new floors. Mike Boles knows what he’s doing. Experience and knowledge matters. The crew that was here got the job done in a day and a half. We had about 400 ft of flooring removed and replaced with luxury vinyl planks. The installers were professional and polite. They were here early and got right to work. Alpine removed old carpeting and flooring in multiple rooms and replaced it with new carpet in 2021. The install was fast and professionally done. 2 years later, we had a leak that ruined the carpet in one bedroom. Alpine found a suitable replacement and, once again, did a great job. We were helped by Paul Friederici on both occasions. He is knowledgeable, friendly, and a joy to work with!

Alpine (Paul) covered a number of options for replacing our tile floor with the particulars of our structure. They were quick responding to questions and patient with our changing our minds.The installers did very nice work replacing tile and baseboard in several rooms with appliances and fixtures to work around. They went beyond the job helping us change a filter on the furnace so that it would work.

Incredibly satisfied with this carpet transaction and installation! Their staff was very easy to work with on the front end, selecting a carpet type and color. Their onsite measurements guaranteed an economic purchase with very little overage. (A bonus at the end was their willingness, for free, to bind a 2’x3’ “scrap” into a floor mat next to our deck. )The trustworthy installers arrived on time, communicated well with us and did incredible work, assisting us with furniture moving, working around bi-fold doors and such. They did a great job working into the evening to guarantee that we were satisfied with their installation and clean up. I’d recommend Alpine Carpets without reservation.

I was able to see my completed floors last week. The work and attention to detail, very pleasantly surprised me. I came with felt pads to put under dinning table and chairs, and other furniture that may have needed them. That detail was already taken care of! Thank you so much to the crew and Thomas! Planning and choosing (and of course installing) all new floors can be overwhelming and stressful, there are so many options out there! We bought a new house and wanted to replace some carpet and LVP with engineered hardwood. Alpine responded quickly to inquires, provided a detailed bid and after signing the contract set a delivery and start date promptly. We had a great experience with Alpine Carpet One in South Lake Tahoe. A bear destroyed much our downstairs rooms and carpet. We decided to go with some type of vinyl plank flooring. My wife and I visited Home Depot in Carson City and had them come out for a quote. VERY frustrating process with them and they would not install flooring on our staircase. That was a complete deal breaker for us. We visited the showroom of Alpine Carpet One and were very impressed! Knowledgeable and friendly staff showed us multiple types of flooring. We requested a quote and Thomas showed up a few days later. Even though the price was higher-significantly higher-than Home Depot, there was zero doubt for us that it would be done completely and correctly. Because of a snow storm, the demo and install team started a day late but we were notified of this and the communication was great throughout the process! If there was a question, the owner would reach out. The job was completed on time and it looks spectacular! WE are so glad we went with Alpine Carpet One instead of one of the National chains. I highly recommend them for your flooring needs.

We needed to remove the carpet in our master bedroom that was destroyed by our aging dog that has now passed. I also am having surgery and wanted to make sure this was done prior to that date since I will be laid up for a while. Paul was kind enough to get it done in about a week's time. The other thing that was absolutely amazing to us is that the installers not only did a wonderful job, but they were so careful to make sure that everything was put back exactly as they found it. Right down to putting our electric bed back together and made the bed. I was shocked! Kudos to Alpine Carepet One, great store to work with.
