Ordered some delicious rolled ice cream here. Short waiting times and good service, would recommend to go if you need a quick treat!Do note they are relatively expensive with their rolled ice cream coming in $9+ plus tax.

There are quite a few choices - regular ice cream in a cup or cone (waffle or sugar), sundaes, milkshakes and rolled ice cream bowls.The interior of the ice cream shop leaves something to be desired. There is limited seating inside and outside, but a park is across the street.Despite the shortcomings, people love ice cream. This spot is super popular. You can expect a line, but it moves quickly.

I really enjoyed the plant-based / vegan ice cream options here. My friend got the Oreo ice cream and thought it was really good (if you've had the brand 'so delicious' it's very similar). I got the cake which was also tasty. I would just recommend that they don't do the fruit filling since it doesn't melt at the same pace as the ice cream and made the whole thing rather difficult to eat; I ended up just using my hands. Overall though tasty and very much appreciate the vegan options! 💕

Squashed berries & banana on a frozen countertop is naturally & wonderfully delicious without sugar. I would not recommend the vegan ice-cream cake though as my son found it way too frozen and hard to eat even after being in the hot sun for a while.

This place has been here for a while but the new owners are doing much better then the old ones. The flavors are great and they do rolled ice cream. Very friendly environment. As a local I will be making this my go to icecream place.

For a place with a plant based menu, the staff was very rude about anyone wanting to actually utilize that menu. I ordered the plant based chocolate, strawberry, and cookie. They asked if it was a “real allergy” because if so they’d have to do a whole process to change the equipment that would take a long time (filled in with a lot of detail on how long this would take). The staff made a big deal of going through this process, then when I finally received my ice cream it was a big pile of mush. Save your $11 and get a carton of so good from Safeway instead

2023 - you can go inside again. And they're now selling pints to go as well - we're not going to bother with supermarket ice cream this trip!Third year - you order at the window and eat outside, but the ice cream is just as good. They have standard and rolled, and some of the flavors are advertised as vegan.Same excellent ice cream as last year, and they've added rolled ice cream which is interesting texture and excellent flavor (the It Takes Two To Mango had strong mango flavor).

Absolutely simply unbelievable. We went with our family to have ice cream and the individual who owns this place was the most unkind soul. He started of by getting mad at my 6 year old daughter for looking in at the the ice cream choices and not just reading the list. Next my mother was looking at the list and told him her order. He then got snappy because she was not standing right under the 'order here' sign. I stated WOW. He bore his eyes at us (which were half way rolled into his head) and said "you dont have to eat here". His attitude only escalated until I called the shot and said we are out of here. I wouldn't pay that guy a pine cone let alone my valued cash dollars. Very horrible customer service and completely disrespectful to my family who are locals. Will never be back and I strongly advise everyone else to find a better choice. The only Aloha this guy gets is our goodbye.

It all started with their rolled ice cream.Hand crafted and freshly frozen, with a great curated list to choose from, -- it was the love at first sight!Kids so loved the variety and quality of ice cream, so when the time came for a gender-reveal party, it was an easy choice.Many thanks to Aloha Ice Cream: they crafted a beautiful ice cream cake with the hidden blue treasure inside, and we all had a blast!

Delicious!! Got ice cream here and then walked down the road to this view!! It’s right across the street from Lake Tahoe and a bike trail. My husband got a chocolate covered banana and loved it and I got one scoop waffle cone ice cream. We will definitely be back!

The older lady at cashier doesn’t know good service. Everyone else is cool. They gave us a hard brownie. I showed her how hard it was and she looked mad. We are locals and we’ll be going to cool beans from now on. Better service there.

If you’re visiting South Lake Tahoe and you’re an ice cream fan, stop here for some rolled ice cream!! Hands down best plant based ice cream I’ve ever had. So creamy and delicious! Great service too!

All I need to say is we came back a lot and even brought pints home. The mint chocolate chip is a favorite for all three of us, and both the coffee and green tea were wonderful with rich flavors you could taste in every bite.

I usually don't give one star rewiews. I will never return to this place, i don't think they care since everyone who works there is so arrogant especially, the that lady manager/supervisor. It took them about 10 minutes to get a couple scoops of ice cream. The ice cream were pre-made! There no reason to wait that long. There were so many employees but they were just wondering around. The employees were so rude and had attitude. There is something wrong with the person who took the order. I ordered ice cream with cone and they gave me one without it. Very disappointed.

This store is busy for a reason! The venue is a bit small to handle the number of people that come in, but it was easy to order and didn’t take a long time. The staff were friendly and made our sundaes quickly. The customizable aspect of the sundaes was fantastic and my sundae was delicious!

The flavors are great! The best ice cream I had in the U.S. When I asked the lady to check the ingredients label for an ingredient I was sensitive about, she didn’t even hesitate despite the shop being extremely crowded and her being the only person preparing the orders at that hour. It’s a sweet family owned business.

We stopped in on a whim right before they were closing - and they were obviously ready to shut down, but they did let us in and place an order. It was a bit no-nonsense, but honestly I understand considering it was late and they were ready to close. But the ice cream was better than average and they had great attitudes all around.

Not such a pleasant phone order. Ice cream cake with very little cake. I miss Baskin Robbins ice cream cakes. Next time I'll go to Carson with a ice cooler and bring it up.

I love ice cream. I don't always go out for it, but if I do, I want the good stuff. Aloha is a sweet little spot right on the lake owned by locals who serve it up right. You can can get scoop or, their specialty; rolled ice cream which is offered in a variety of unique flavors and is scraped into rolls off of a cold plate. This is my husbands favorite. I'm a mint chocolate chip girl, myself. Whatever flavor, container or toppings that you prefer you're going to be happy you got it at Aloha. Stop in and chat with Jared and Lorena and their team. They are always happy to take your photo and recommend other awesome spots to visit. You can even bring your dog in for a pupsicle!
