It's a nice store, but it's in a terrible location. I won't go there because of all the homeless people hanging around outside 24/7. It's a safety issue.

The employees were very kind polite and helpful. The thing we appreciated the most was that they packed our bags lightly because of the stairs that we have to climb they understood. I am very happy and satisfied with the customer service, Very positive environment and I will be shopping there again

Everyone’s great! Stores nice and clean. Courtesy clerk Lukas was extremely helpful, funny and hustled to help us out with our groceries to the car. All in all they had everything we needed and in a friendly, clean environment.

Lower Save Mart is a great store , great people except for female Cory who is rude as hell . But the store is always clean , prices are good and management is fantastic.And once again I must say almost all the staff all excellent employees very helpful and caring people .I recommend the store for everyone !

This store is convenient if you are in downtown Sonora. It is about a 5 minute walk from most downtown hotels. However, this is a pretty old store and the interior shows it. It could use a bit of a renovation. It has a yellowed and worn sort of look everywhere. Maybe it’s the old lighting, idk. The staff is alright, but not overly friendly. Can get busy, but usually is pretty quiet. The selection is pretty limited as well.

Although this is one of the last grocery stores that started up here it has really went down hill. I see to many transients loitering in this parking lot which makes me feel unsafe. With this establishment right behind a police station I shouldn't feel this way. The store itself has a pleasant atmosphere, to which if you spent anytime inside you almost forget what awaits you outside. This establishment is smaller than its sister store, so it doesn't offer everything that the upper savemart has. But with friendly staff and great manager speacials it's hard to pass up.

Excellent store with great customer service. We always get our meat for our beef jerky at "lower save Mart". The butcher is always accommodating and quick to impress!

This store had limited fresh food. Very small meat section to chose from. Fruits and vegetables were also limited. Large variety of processed food. Also, the packaging was in large quantities. Great for large families, but not so great for one or two people.

What a great store,the cashiers are,great. The produce is fresh,If I ever have a problem it is replaced, no questions asked. They were busy tonight @ 6.15. Called extra help in to bag and cashier. Great store.

I love our Savemarts. Everyone has been there for years. The store is clean, produce is good majority of the time. DELI & Bakery are fresh. Fair pricing.

This the grocery stores actually our second stuff we have to go to Cost-U-Less first because just groceries are getting too expensive when you live on Social Security you have to shop and Shop hard so that's number two number three is Safeway if I even go there at all they're way too high price but Save Mart always a nice clean store good people and just good local people love it

This is Sonora's oldest and most excellent grocery store. It's a little smaller than the newer ones but it's the friendliest and most caring. If 3 people are in line another checker is called immediately. If they need two or more instead of one they never hesitate call them up front. Try that at WalMart or Safeway (good luck)! Joe is the best but all the workers rock with old school service and pride.

I don't have any hard feelings towards the Lower Save Mart, I believe it's pointless to be in that particular spot due to the fact there's another savemart less than a mile away, and I also believe it's much more expensive than any other store in sonora .... the employees are really nice though, and yes, I still shop there but I prefer not to!!

Great grocery store with an excellent produce choices, plenty of selection (cheese, cakes, breads, etc.) and friendly staff. I really like the cleanliness of this store and that I never have to search for a shopping cart.

The oldest save mart I've ever seen. Goes with the Sonora and Jamestown look that's for sure. The employees were very nice.

It is really great having a full service supermarket downtown. It is not too huge. It is nice to be able to get in and out quickly but still be able to find everything you need.

$6 dinners in a bag, fresh. Meat department. Wow, all Save Marts. Now there $7, but still worth it. Save Mart only and anywhere

I liked it as close to my house, the staff is very friendly but it's not a full service grocery store...... They do have about 90% of what you need.
