So a friend of mine was telling me about these chicken pot pies from Safeway, so next time I went into town I picked me up one of these chicken Popeyes from Safeway. Holy guacamole, pretty dang good if you ask me. Very decent size for six dollars loaded to the buttery flaky crust with chicken, peas, carrots potatoes, celery. I wished you could smell it right now. It’s delicious Thank you Safeway.

Just sad. We always get friendly service and expect quality from our Safeway but today was a real disappointment. We ordered sandwiches from the deli. The sandwiches were dry and contained very little meat but even worse was the guy behind the counter who obviously hates his job and doesn’t mind showing it to paying customers. Pitiful little sandwich served with a very large attitude!

I would like to add that i do give this Safeway one more chance, there are certain things that only Safeway carries. Kelly at the front with the long hair, was extremely condescending with a smile on her face. She actives like i was putting her out. I have given up on this store. What a disgusting store! I have been gone since February.What happened here? Not much to pick from when it comes to the produce section. Produce is in poor condition, rotten, and dated. You can barely walk through an aisle, it looks like they are still stocking the shelves. And if you have a question, good luck. No one is around.This use to be the go to store in TC, now it will be, THE DO NOT GO TO STORE.

Went for their sushi unfortunately the way the labels are placed, you can't read the ingredients without picking the package up and holding it upside down, or over your head. I went to priceco where you can see the ingredients without picking up the package.

Just listened to a bagger named Lucus rudely ask a customer to throw away a brand new plastic bag because he was to lazy to hang it up when it accidentally pulled off. I know it is the holidays, but dude really.

All of the produce has been old and low quality lately. Shopping for fruits and vegetables has felt like looking through a dumpster of tossed out foods…. I don’t know what is going on. I bought mushrooms and garlic recently and when I got home they both were covered in mold. Usually Safeways/Vons have decent produce, but not this one.

A fun place to grocery shop. A little pricey but generally nice quality. Dairy is mostly UHT pasteurized so I ended up spending a lot on a glass bottle of milk. Worth it though. Otherwise, a good selection of foods, and wine selection is pretty exceptional.

Prices can be a little higher and sometimes the staff isn't in the best mood. We usually just chock it up to a bad day. The pharmacy needs more help, I feel bad for them dealing with so much and so many rude people.

The girl there was very helpful in with helping me find my diet soda that I wanted. The store was very clean compared to other grocery stores that I have been to. This store has a very nice atmosphere and I recommend it to anybody.

I don't shop here often, as I don't live in the area. But when we do go, we are satisfied with the store. The deli area has a nice selection, and we usually get a grab-and-go sandwich to eat on the go. You can also get a freshly made sandwich to-order if you like. But the ones in the deli case are fresh and really big for the money.

This isn’t Safeway as a whole, just the sandwich making portion. I would like to preface this review by saying that I have come to this deli for its amazing sandwiches in the past. How does someone mess up a sandwich, right? Wrong. I ordered a turkey club which has both cheese and bacon on it, my sandwich was not toasted. Sam I Am, I do not like cold bacon, man. The sandwich was a large, it was not cut in half. You know what was cut in half? Tomatoes and cheese and even the turkey that comes on the sandwich. By cutting the tomatoes and cheese and turkey, the ratio of cheese to meat to veggies was totally ruined. Now I have way too much meat and only one and a half slices of tomato. Is the problem the staff member himself that is clearly an incompetent sandwich maker? Or is the issue that he hasn’t been properly trained? Does the department have something against this guy? Or did they think, like me, that anybody can make a sandwich as long as they have the proper recipe? It’s very hard to tell as the guy that made my sandwich has clearly never made a single sandwich in his life. Safeway, please help your employee and get him some training. Maybe he can make the Department sandwiches for lunch and they can give him some pointers. I am willing to try his sandwiches again, please let me know when he has been given the proper tools to succeed.

The store is clean & they have a really great selection in tons of products. They also offer a store brand that often tastes just as good, if not better than their popular counterparts. I was slightly disappointed tonight when I visited due to the deli being closed earlier than normal. I was told short staffing was to blame so I didn't complain. This store would have earned a five star review but lost one star because of their "do nothing" policy when it comes to shop lifters. The same crowd of people visit the store nightly & stock up on free goods while employees watch it happen & are unable to stop them. It doesn't take a genius to see that these losses cause an increase in prices for those of us that pay for items we remove from the shelves. These thieves are not starving, needy or disabled. They are able-bodied, young to middle aged people that steal expensive cuts of meat, sea food & other items. It is apparent that this has become a regular habit. It's sad that Safeway does nothing to stop it.

Being new to the area, its great to have an old faithful store like Safeway in town. They seemed to always have everything I need on my grocery list from imported cheeses, great organic selection, gluten free too. The clerks are friendly and lots of parking.

The store is always neat and clean. The sale prices using the Safeway APP are exceptional. I have used and was very pleased with their online order service to pick up in their parking lot. The employees are friendly and helpful. The only issue I have is that the sale items (especially on Friday's) are sometimes out of stock unless you shop early in the morning. I'd like to see them order higher quantities of these sale items and ensure they are stocked throughout the day. An example would be a few Friday's ago I wanted their Boston Creme Cake for $5 and they never even had any. Also I wanted Signature Select Cheese that was 3 for $5 and Sour Cream for $1. I have used their Bakery and their Deli and have been happy with their food and service.

I really can't afford to shop at Safeway that often I just go there to the pharmacy and pick up little things that are on sale. But it's a clean place inside and out. Prices are a bit higher because it's Safeway. And it has a built-in Starbucks, which is a plus. Staff are usually friendly, with no complaints here. Still I choose. 😆

The store is very clean neat and well organized. All the workers are incredibly friendly. Their produce is top of the line. Unfortunately prices are a bit expensive leaving me no choice but to do some of my shopping at the competitors right down the street. Even though prices are a bit high, Safeway has always been my number one go to grocery store for quality

I come here all the time and absolutely love the staff and the environment! They have an amazing selection of organic products! I definitely recommend.Just an update they do have a Starbucks in store. Their deli is amazing, and has some amazing homemade pasta salads, deli meats and some other great things.

Kind of limited compared to other Safeways but still one of the better groceries in the area, the floral section is always beautiful and changing in variety which I like, and there deli sandwiches are yummy! They do tend to be on the high end compared to some of the other local choices, but for me, the cleanliness and organization of the store makes that worth it to me.

We decided on Safeway's bakery for our parent's 65th anniversary cake. We chose to order one like a dramatic one on display..... what a win! It was beautiful, moist, and delicious! Everyone loved it and we would order again for other celebrations. Thanks!

Great weekly coupon and personalized deals.Friendly staff. Great selection, same or similar to any Safeway in a larger city.Clean as one expects from Safeway.Restroom is in front, center of store.After 9:00 PM use the left door, closest to road. Right is locked after that time.
